MC: Ivy and Roman
Super short novella which is great for when you have only a few minutes. The premise of the book was good, and overall a good read. Ivy’s work role was a little confusing because she started off as a consultant but some scenes made it seem like she worked in the company and not with them. There was also her relationship with Maya, Roman’s daughter, that again seemed to come out of nowhere, like they met when she ran into her and all of a sudden Ivy is Maya’s favorite person. Little things like that made the story feel slightly incomplete.

It would have been a 5 star if there was a better ending to wrap it up. Worth the read just the same for a quick afternoon getaway or to unwind at the end of a day.
