My first year of university was meant to be simple; spend time with my boyfriend, hang out with my best friends and do well in my classes.
Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
I didn't expect my boyfriend to break up with me. I certainly didn't expect to find out that he'd been cheating on me either or that I'd be offered a career-making opportunity I'd have to be insane to turn down just a few days later.
There's just one problem ... It involves Colin Hunt, Armitage University's resident rugby god, ridiculously handsome charmer and my ex's arch nemesis on the field.
It was meant to be strictly professional between us. We were meant to be just friends' and nothing more, but every second I spend around him blurs the line between what I told myself we can only be and what I truly want.
Colin
My third year of university was meant to be simple; play rugby, don't get distracted, get signed by a Premiership Rugby club and, lastly, don't get distracted.
Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
I didn't expect to meet Ellie Simpkins. I certainly didn't expect her to captivate me like no one else ever has or for her to turn out to be everything I'm looking for in a woman and so much more. Falling for her is dangerous, but I've never been scared to take a risk.
There's just one problem ... She wants things between us to be strictly professional. For us to 'just be friends' and nothing more, but my threshold for restraint is at an all time low and my sights are set firmly on her.
This was such a nice read. I've not really read sports romance, but I have to say I'm glad this was my first. I can't tell you how excited I was to get a mini Christmas special in the middle of it as a little treat, too!
Second indie book from my jar read! This was such a cute read! I love a collage romance and this book ticked all the boxes! The romance between Colin and Ellie is everything you’d want from a romance book. The tension between them was on point. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for book 2!
This was such an easy, charming read. Flirty, witty and a dose of angst - Threshold has surprised me. The banter between friends is light and fun and a certain fiery woman had me chuckling out loud near then end with her balling-kicking line. (Also, we want to throat punch Marco)
If you are looking for something light and heartwarming with a dash of spice .. this is an easy pick.

College romances are great, but this one? It was SO SO good. Colin and Ellie are pure romance and I love them both. The side characters are amazing as well!! Can’t wait for the next one🩷
