Edizione molto bella, disegni bellissimi, ambientazione curata e ben realizzata (con tanto di mappa), personaggi niente male. La storia, però, risulta eccessivamente lenta e a tratti piuttosto complicata (trattive, intrighi e imbrogli dei mercanti) ma sono curiosa di vedere come andrà avanti.

I have been a fan of this series for many years despite never finishing the series or touching it in almost a decade now? I've seen the anime probably 5-6 times and read up to about.... volume 6ish? I always intended to finish reading it, so this omnibus collectors edition was pretty much an instant buy to relive some early childhood memories.

I'm not really sure why I liked this so much as a child. It's not particularly age appropriate in terms of the amount of nudity, sexual innuendo, and straight-up teaching a basic economics course. I think it really has to do with the strength of Holo and Lawrence's chemistry. The world building is interesting and subtle. The art is sometimes a little janky, especially when it comes to male character models, but I'm guessing that will improve in time.

E ci proviamo per la terza volta a leggerlo. O forse quarta. Per quanto la storia e lo stile mi ispirino parecchio, non sono mai riuscita ad andare oltre il secondo volume, probabilmente. La parte sugli intrighi commerciali mi risulta ancora indigesta.

Ci ho messo tre tentativi per finirlo e... ne è valsa la pena! Forse la storia ci mette un po' a partire - e quando parte son per la maggior parte intrighi di palazzo - ma i personaggi mi sono simpatici e adoro lo stile dell'autore.

Lui è un mercante di grandi capacità. Davvero, è sveglio come pochi. Lei è una divinità che si è stancata di fare la divinità e vorrebbe tornare nel posto in cui è nata. Si ritrovano insieme e cominciano un lungo viaggio.

Beh, mi sa che lo metto in abbonamento e me lo leggo tutto! Perché anche l'ambientazione mi è piaciuta parecchio. Senza contare che i disegni sono bellissimi e il tratto è molto leggero.

Comprato due giorni prima della prima dose di AstraZeneca. Letto quando mancavano due settimane alla seconda...
