I’ve taken my time reading this as I wanted to absorb everything the author put into it. I found so many of her situations in one way or another match my own but different too. I read the Bible every night before bed and now I have reading a chapter here too. This book has helped me understand alot of things I’ve been struggling to make sense of so I thank you. This book has made it more pronounced that in everything, go to Jesus for and now it’s like 2nd nature. I’m recovering from knee surgery done with a scope and still just trying to make sense of why , but with this books help , I have somewhat of an answer.
I received this ARC from BookSirens and I’m voluntarily leaving my review.
Inspirational! Patricia Cameron takes ordinary events in life and sees God in them. It is a wonderfully written book that uses scripture along with every day stories. Ever Present is a reminder to look for God in all circumstances, both good and bad. She is able to find humor in difficult situations. It has motivated me to see things a little differently.…to be aware that God is all around us. That is great comfort! It reminds me that God is in my story.
The author is presenting the awesome opportunity for every reader to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Patricia Cameron gives a detailed roadmap of living in this world with all its ups and downs, as Patricia, her family, and friends have traversed-all with raw emotion, biblical references and heartfelt direction with God by their side conducting the outcomes, always, with the grace, love, kindness of our Heavenly Father
I sat in the airport on our extend layover reading Patricia’s book. My husband and I had meticulously an amazing Patagonian vacation only to have our flight delayed meaning that we would have to shorten our trip by a full day…the main day of the trip that I had been looking forward to since starting the planning of our trip. As I sat there reading this book, it helped bring into perspective that God is sovereign over everything even in our delays. I don’t know why we had to miss that day but this book reminded me that God sees more than I do. Patricia has a way of taking every day events and annoyances that could happen to any of us and reminding of us that our inconveniences are actually carefully ordained plans by the creator of the universe. I hope as you read her book, you will have a perspective shift like I did.
These are insiring stories of God's presence in lives of people as well as sharing how we too can overcome the struggles we find ourselves in as well. The author strongly provides not just the stories of struggle but how God overcomes those problems. She provides practicle ways to be a part of that healing and overcomeing in the readers life too.
Patricia's words are a sweet reminder of God's truth. He's always with us. Through every trial and heartache, he's there. Ever Present is brimming with true stories of faith that will delight and encourage you.
Great book. Challenges the reader introspectively to determine where God is working at in their life. Excellent, true stories from others included to help solidify the primary book subject.
