this is exactly how an arranged marriage mafia romance should be — no unnecessary smut scenes, fiery fmc, protective and respectful mmc, no miscommunication, slow burn, top tier banter, unexpected plot twist. I LOVED the book in the first half so much, I was giggling and blushing but the last few chapters after the plot twist felt predictable. Luc and Vienna are so perfect together and there was not a single boring moment with them.

Viviana a vivido bajo la sombra de su hermana mayor, ella es siempre la perfecta, la que hace todo bien así que ella durante algunos años es alejada de la mafia ya que no es necesaria pero todo cambia cuando su hermana muere en un accidente de auto y su prometido ahora la quiere a ella.
Me sorprendió para bien está historia, no se por que este tipo de historias siempre me llaman, cuando se casa con el ex prometido de la hermana o algo así (estos no soy mis valores 🤣) en fin aquí tenemos una pareja que para nada quiere este trato pero tendrán que aceptarlo y poco a poco se dan cuenta que tal vez fue lo mejor y que son más compatibles de lo que pensaban.
Algo que me gustó mucho fue como es que Viviana siempre exige lo que quiere, no es una chica que se va a dejar y lucha por su felicidad, Luciano aunque un mafioso no es un idiota, siempre la trato bien y respeto sus decisionesa, además esa tensión, ameee, la autora supo hacerlo, no llego tan rápido se tomó su tiempo para que se conocieran y cuando por fin todo detonó 🙊 fue ya avanzado todo, lo cual fue 🌚👌🏻

I was reading one book but I was getting bored so we switched to this book… good choice.

Honestly… I forgot what my opinion is on her. I thought I was going to read more about how her parents treated her poorly but we they only mentioned a few times. She’s very brave I’ll give that and didn’t hesitate to back down when it came to Luciano. I wish she was one year older but the age wasn’t a big deal unless they mentioned it.

He was alright. I guess he had to marry her since the one he was supposed to married was killed. I like how he had a soft spot for Viviana and he smiled a lot which was cute to read. During the last part when he lost control… it was a bit otp but damn man if someone called you about three times I think you should answer the phone…but that’s just me. I also liked how he encouraged Vivian to do something for her and support her.

The author introduced us to characters that I’m so curious to read but I don’t know if they’ll make a book about them.
The plot twist was shocking but what shock me the most is when they killed off someone I never imagined-
WHY WOULD THEY THAT TO LEX AND THEN NEVER MENTIONED HIM AGAIN LIKE HELLO-?!??! HE WAS THE BODYGUARD TO YOUR WIFE AND A FRIEND!!!
I’m so curious about Massimo and Elenora.
I don’t understand why people don’t like slow burn romance?!?! ITS SO GOOD! The tension, the way they start to having feelings for one another! The little gestures and then BAM they fall in love!
Dark romance will always be my favorite genre ♡

The h had backbone and the H ultimately fell in love with her personality. It’s a slow burn with some hate-to-love romance. Definitely recommend if you’re into mafia books.

I wasn’t sure how to rate this. I feel like I wanted to like it more than I actually did because mafia romance is my favorite.
But there is a reason I don’t read “my sisters fiancé” romances and this book reminded me of why I stay away from them. There were just too many things that rubbed me the wrong way.
Luc is engaged to Vivi’s sister for years until she dies in a car crash and Vivi has to take her place. Luc and the sister weren’t in love but they built a friendship over the years. That’s not what bothered me. What bothered me was that when he married Vivi he gave her the ring her sister picked out for herself and he wore the ring they picked out together before she died. Vivi has to live in a bedroom that her sister picked and designed and wear the clothes in her sisters closet because Luc doesn’t find it necessary to buy any of her own. He also wears the ring the sister picked out for the entire book. There’s a moment where Vivi sees him wearing the ring and she’s upset that it’s the one her sister picked out and wishes he was wearing her ring and then it’s literally never brought up again!!! Vivi does get a new ring but that’s only because she took her sisters off. So if she would have never taken it off Luc would have never thought to get her a ring that’s just for her. I felt like the sister was always in the background and it was so frustrating. I mean even the plot was Luc trying to find out if her sister was murdered or not, almost like he’s trying to avenge her.
I also didn’t appreciate him dancing with an old flame at a party and barely acknowledging how his wife is upset by this. And at this point they are very much into each other.
I didn’t like how Vivi lost her virginity. Very unsatisfied that the scene was her losing it on the stair case in Luc’s parents house!!!
Also I felt like Vivi was always the one chasing Luc. He comes home smelling like a woman so she thinks he’s been with someone else so the next night she gets all dressed up and goes to his club to get his attention?! Like girl you think he’s been with someone else and you’re begging for his attention? She’s always the one putting herself out there and while yes Luc cares about her and you can clearly see that it just felt super unbalanced.
Another thing is a side character dies, one that the readers have come to like and it’s literally mentioned one time at the time it happens and then never again!!! They both care about this person but their death is never talked about after they die!!!
While I did like the characters, Vivi was great and once Luc stopped being an asshole he was great too, the plot wasn’t really it for me. This was definitely mafia light but I felt confused as to what the plot really was?
Anyway, unfortunately I don’t think I’ll continue the series because the next FMC, I don’t like her at all and don’t think she deserves to be redeemed. And if there was a book for Massimo it would be a single dad, dead wife trope and that ain’t for me!!!

ilk kitabını çıkarmış bu yazarı övelim biraz da.. Çoğu mafyacı yazara ilham versin, gereksiz smut yok, manasız yükselişler yok.. Rahmi Beyciğim gibi "hayatın olağan akışına uymuyor" hareketler yok..

"Y de repente, mi mundo se volvió un poco más brillante. Tenía algo, alguien, que esperar cada mañana. Por primera vez en mi vida, abrí mi corazón a otro ser, y se siente bien"
Este libro es de mafia y tiene un matrimonio entre Viviana y Luciano pero el problema es que ella esta sustituyendo a su hermana, la ex prometida de Luciano quién murió en un accidente y ahora ella debera ocupar su lugar bajo amenazas a la vida de su padre.
Si existe algo que amo es cuando las protagonista tienen una personalidad fuerte y que no se dejen pisar por nadie y en este caso Viviana fue así en todo momento, la manera en la que mostro su rechazo a su matrimonio sin tener miedo era divertido de leer porque ella sacaba de sus casillas a Luciano y sin saberlo llegaba a el y lo hacía cambiar de opinión en cuando al trato que le daba. Ella reprimía mucho sus emociones y aún así siempre supo poner un alto a las personas que querían hacerle daño y eso era admirable en ella demostro que era la esposa e igual perfecta para un mafioso.
Luciano al principio comparaba a las hermanas porque el creía que su matrimonio seria solo de nombre y con las reglas que puso con su ex prometida pero no se daba cuanta que haciendo eso lastimaba mucho a Viviana porque ella paso toda su vida sintiéndose la sombra de su hermana y sintiendo que era insuficiente con todo en su vida pero cuando el se dió cuenta de esto dejo de hacerlo y con los días hubo un cambio en su relación y fue muy detallista con su "cattivella" la alento a seguir con sus pasatiempos favoritos porque el sabía que eso la hacía feliz y quería que haga lo que amaba sin sentir que lo hacía mal ¡El admiraba a esa chica!

3.75! this was really good. no unnecessary spicy scenes. good relationship development. and i liked both characters. the “plot twist” wasn’t surprising expected. i definitely guessed it like 1 chapter in. the only thing i didn’t like was the fact that she is 20 years old and she was ok with getting pregnant. she didn’t even really live her life before getting pregnant or getting married to this man. either way, this book was good and i hope the next is just as good!

I really enjoyed this one! I was in the mood for a mafia romance and this was a great experience. I really liked the relationship between the FMC & MMC. And I thought the story was a good balance of actual plot and not just obnoxious amount of spice. The little plot twist at the end was pretty good. I would be excited to see more Mafia romances from this author in the future.

I devoured this book in one sitting ,I loved this book so much that I wanted to read other works from author went on IG looked for her turned out this is her debut novel so unbelievable I loved this book so much she did pretty good job for her first book,she have setted the bar high for herself 😭🤌🏼.
Okay now about the book , this book is perfect I always read ruthless mafia mmc even with fmc in beginning ,but for a change Mmc here Luciano is soft with her,I love strong Ferrell Mc but I love soft one too.
he bought the flowers she loved which was unusual in taste,he apologised for his mistakes,he wanted her permission before touching her & he’s a mafia man talk about my dream man🤌🏼😩😭.
Also he loved the dog sorry for a spoiler,he has my heart for that😭.
Okay our Fmc is not some fragile one either,she’s fiery & soft when she needs to be.
The way she fought back in every step was commendable too,but why she opt that method made my heart ache.
The way Viviana was with luciano like I don’t give a fuck if you’re a mafia boss am doing what I want to do was🤌🏼🙌🏼.
The way she gave back to his mother🤌🏼🤌🏼😩.

When I first saw this book on my suggested books on Kindle, I was like, "Hmm, let me see if this book is good or not", because sometimes Kindle Unlimited suggestions are the best. I read the most underrated books because of the suggestions and this book is one of them. I love the supporting mmc in books, but Luciano is also emotionally intelligent, which made me fall in love with him. The writing was smooth and very entertaining. I researched the author and found out that this book is her only book that is published and I can't wait to read more of her books.

Honestly I read this overnight again and found myself breezing through the first 80%, regardless of their being very little plot in my opinion, but the last 20% took me forever. I just don’t think this book was for me, but I did still enjoy parts of it and the tropes.

I enjoyed the writing style and the main characters. I read a lot of mafia stories and all dons and their wives are surrounded by guards 24/7 whereas vivi and Luc only had 1 each…. Felt like a flaw in the story, but overall a good story with humour interjected too.

3.5 or 3.8 bcs this book indeed GOOOD and like aw despite it got my gut when the fmc is feel insecure bcs fair for her to feel so aw my baby but glad there no owd and etc and !!!! compare to many mafia romance this one actually makes you feel connection between the fmc and mmc instead of “lust” it only like little chapter focusing on spice but idk its good omg !! and viviana is baddass tho!!

MMC has no feelings for the sister, despite some comments I could have gone without « Vivianna doesn’t have her sister sexy curves 🙄🙄 »
Anyway, loved the whole « wedding » ceremony
