OMG! Loved this book! Whitney is one of my favorite authors and I knew I was gonna love this one! Going on Tasha's journey of self love was amazing. I was so sad and upset for Tasha at the beginning but she truly shows how being strong and choosing yourself can make such a big difference! I think this book is healing for anyone who has struggled with DV or SA. Another 5 star read for me from Whitney!

At All Cost is a gripping motorcycle romance following Tasha, a woman trapped in a marriage of an abusive and powerful man, Silas, who is a highly successful divorce lawyer. After years of suffering, Tasha finally makes the life-altering decision to leave him and re-claim her freedom. While on her journey, she crosses paths with a biker who gives Tasha a sense of hope. But, Silas isn’t someone who lets go easily, and with his many resources, you’ll have to see just how far he will go to bring her back. I flew through this book, as I always do with Whitney’s stories. Her writing pulls you in and I felt like I was with Tasha the entire time. Feeling her isolation, pain, and her fierce will to survive. The emotional depth feels raw and real and you can’t help but root for her the entire time. Whitney also created some memorable side characters and their diversity flows really well and helps solidify the story; playing essential roles in Tasha’s fight for freedom. These characters are relatable, supportive, and woven well into the narrative. If you enjoy emotionally intense and empowering stories, this book may be for you.
This was a tear filled read for me. It was a roller coaster ride. Domestic abuse is not spoken of enough in a way for people to really pick up on. The reality that a lot live in. This is a powerful tale of a woman getting out and fighting for many of us take for granted. We definitely need more heroes. The author pulls you in and makes you feel what character feels. The fear and terror; the happiness and excitement . It shows the evil side, the side that we know exists but the detail that was used to bring this to life to feel with her is not an easy thing, but she did it beautifully. It is the raw reality for some and a light not shined enough on.
DV is such a horrific thing for anyone to go through. I couldn't imagine the pain and suffering of anyone experiencing it in any capacity. I aplaude Whitney for eliciting the emotions felt through the FMC. Later in the story, there were moments I wanted to shake the woman and tell her to get her mind straight, but it's one of those things that you think you know how you'd react in a situation when you really have no idea. I kinda wish there had been a little more to the final climax of the story. I can't say much more regarding this or I'd be giving some of the story away and you just need to read it to find out!
Another great read by Mrs. Mayoral . I couldn’t put this book down. Tasha’s character was so well written and you were rooting for her the whole book. I hope that you can give us a sequel and more background of Damian’s history. I kept wanting to know more about him and his past and that bike club. Or even a book about Silas when he gets out of prison. Will he be the same person or does he turn a new leaf? So many options lol. Definitely getting 5 stars from me, I read it in 4 hours!
Thank you for the great read Whitney!

As always Whitney amazes me again with her edge of the seat writing. Her books have never disappointed me. Her touches of romance both light and dark and giving us that nail biting danger her characters go through until the very end always blows me away!! 🩷🖤📚
