This book addressed an important topic. Until this point, I did not know enough about cortisol and its impact on the body. I credit the author's manner in which the subject is approached and laid out for ease of understanding as a big component of my enlightenment.

There is a disclaimer. As the author notes, this is not a cookbook. I must reiterate that. Numerous books address the topic of achieving optimal health and wholeness. Many of the approaches are similar. This book is different, and that is a good thing. Variety is necessary. As they say, different strokes for different folks.
I was also very pleased with the positive perspective. The author is extremely encouraging. You don’t walk away feeling guilt-ridden or like you failed for not knowing what you now know after reading the book. The reader is encouraged and guided into understanding that this corrective measure is a process, thus dissuading one from being hard on one’s self.

I can’t relay how many times I have felt I was broken. It's reassuring to hear that I am not. Knowing that the only real issue was never having the right tools for not understanding how to work with my body rather than against it goes a long way to approaching anything corrective.

For me, this book has been a godsend. It has opened my mind to a deeper understanding of myself. That means a lot.
For anyone who finds this book, I hope it offers the same type of experience. But if it doesn’t completely resonate, hopefully, it will be passed on to someone else who will benefit from knowing the information the author presents.

While the book offers a wealth of information, some readers may find the – trigger reset protocol overwhelming. Making multiple lifestyle changes at once can be challenging. However, Anderson acknowledges this and encourages readers to progress at their own pace. The book’s strength lies in its balanced approach, combining dietary recommendations with stress management techniques, making it a valuable tool for improving self-being. Its not just about detoxing, its about learning to live a more balanced and healthy life. This book provides a roadmap for anyone seeking to regain control of their health and well-being.

Cortisol Detox Diet Here I come!

I knew that stress is damaging to the body but without full understanding. This book explains how and why so even I now have some knowledge. The recipes are fantastic, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, varied, simple and tasty, finally diet food that is exciting! I have always struggled with those extra pounds around my middle and with sleeping, so I looking forward to the results. Highly recommend this book and good luck to us all!

The answer many women are looking for!

Oh this book is a god-send. Its information is so relevant to women everywhere, I know it is for me! This is not a cookbook or even a book that's going to tell you what to eat. It contains valuable information and actionable steps to get out of the mire that constant high cortisol can cause!

Not for recipes

The information in here was pretty good, not a lot I hadn’t already read, but the supplement section was helpful. The recipes were very disappointing, I know it’s not a cook book but they gave no sense of balance or focus and the ingredients didn’t seem particularly healthy or whole food geared.

Simply put

With all the information out there nowadays on Cortisol and weight loss there is so much conflicting and confusing information. This book is easy to understand and follow. I look forward to trying the information I have learned in these pages.

This is a great recipe book. I followed the meal plan and in 30 days I lost 12 lbs and had so much more energy.
