Wish Upon the Stars Book 8

Rate this book
Shane's legend continues at the Ruined Soul Temple.

Shane and his friends embark upon the Necromedes toward the Ruined Soul Temple. There, Shane will come face-to-face with his mother and finally get answers regarding her absence.

The Temple contains trials that will test them like never before, and the competition promises new friends and adversaries—and maybe even a new sister. How they perform will set their trajectory as they venture into the wider universe and the competition for the Wishmaster's successor intensifies.

What starts as a test morphs into something far more sinister with realm-shaking stakes. Like in the Glade, the crew is on their own, no higher-ranked guardians to save them.

Shane must shatter his limits to lead his allies home—and finally get answers about his mother.

Shane’s journey continues in book 8 of Wish Upon the Stars, a series featuring a weak to strong protagonist with limitless potential in a futuristic LitRPG setting featuring a crunchy, unique progression system. Perfect for fans of The Path of Ascension and He Who Fights with Monsters.

Great characterization

This book is a fast-paced ramp up. The process is very similar to the previous book, but with even more and stronger character and relationship moments. World building is mostly confined to the local setting, but it facilitates a better understanding of where our characters fit into their wider society.

Overall, it's very good.
