Not safe for empaths
NOT SAFE FOR EMPATHS.
*Contains SPOILERS* For the SAFE readers…
I started reading this because the reviews in GR were really good. But I guess I did not find any safe readers there. Because this book made me feel sad, uncomfortable, and triggered the whole way. Why? Because the MMC is a horny guy that likes to be dominant in the bedroom and you get reminded several times throughout the book that he has slept with a lot of women. He is not celibate. Just in the beginning, in page 63, you read this quote: «I don’t exactly struggle to find company in the bedroom, but I usually go to bed alone.» «Not because of the sx part—I’ve dated other women since she died, though I was riddled with guilt when I first started.»
I kept reading just because of little Robbie. I wanted to see him come out of his shell. See his interactions with Annie and how she helped her heal. And those moments with Robbie were beautiful and special. Except when he feels sad and thinks his dad doesn’t love him; you feel for him. He was Annie’s from the beginning. It was sweet to read.
And then there are those quotes that just …. To me, these are some other quotes that disturbed me (I won’t mention them all because they are a lot, but just so you know what you’ll get into):
«I’m her boss. She lives in my house. She’s not some stranger I can walk away from and never see again.»
«"When I fck a woman," he says, and the way he almost growls the word "fck" sends a jolt through me. "It's not a... it's not something soft and slow. It's hard, and it's rough, and it's... intense."»
«And worse, the realization that I hadn’t used a condom. A mistake that still has me cursing myself days later. She’d been a virgin, and I’m clean, but that didn’t mean that we could just be careless.» (The I’m clean suggests - to me - he’s been pretty much active)
At the gala… «“Though I must say, I was shocked to see you with such a radiant companion earlier.” Her gaze flicks back to me, curious. “Not your usual type.”»
«“Annie, honey. If I invested in everyone I’ve ever slept with, I’d have nothing left.”»
«Typically, this is when I pull back and make the woman work for it, beg for it, until I'm good and ready,»
How can he so calmly tell Annie that he has been with so many women. Especially with her knowing the kind of women he went out with and how he liked it in the bedroom (because he described it to her!!). Everytime he did the “aftercare”, saying it’s his responsibility, my mind went to all the many times he did that “aftercare” with all the women he slept with. It’s just uncomfortable to read. It doesn’t make their relationship special. Just degraded her to another notch on his bedpost.
Also, what kept me sad the entire time is that he always treated or saw her as Robbie’s nanny and his bedroom toy. He even says by the end of the book that they weren’t in a relationship, not really. Which confirms me that he saw her just as a sx companion. When he invited her to the island, he really wanted to be with her and Robbie on a vacation. But when he asked her to go, this is his answer: “What’s there to know? I’m your boss, and we’re going,” I say, settling the matter and not giving her time to overthink it. “My son will be there, and you’re his nanny.” He never saw her as his partner, his lover, his girlfriend. He just used her. His change basically came around the 90% mark when he finally made the decision to accept the triplets and finally saw in Annie a possibility of her being Robbie’s mom.
I wished she had a stronger spine. I get that she wanted him. But how can she accept a relationship where she is seen just as a sx partner and not someone to be taken care of like a girlfriend? She is treated as such. I wished she put a stop to it, had more control of the relationship and made him realize that he really loved her and couldn’t live without her. Before the pregnancy news!!! And she really had it in her because he already screamed at his face before defending how he treated Robbie.
And then there’s the issue with the condoms. You get reminded again that he’s been with many when he says «When did I ever sleep with a woman without protection?» Annie and Cole never used protection!!! Did he forget how babies are made? I could let it pass the first time, heat of the moment and all. But all the rest? And then he is shocked that she’s pregnant!!!
I won’t recommend this book to those empaths - like me - that vividly live the stories they read. Unless you are into this type of casual guy.

A disappointing read for me, this is my favourite genre so I had high expectations for it.
I felt it was too slow a build up romance, billionaire single dad, age gap, but so so repetitive.
Cole doesn’t have time for anything other than his work, he lost his wife in childbirth and now has a very quiet shy 5year old son.
Then when his nanny leaves without notice Cole pays a member of staff Annie at his production company to child mind little Robbie.
Annie doesn't know anything about children but Robbie loves her instantly so Cole hires her as Robbie’s full time nanny, as she starts to look after Robbie she realises he’s sad due to feeling his dad doesn’t love him so she tells Cole exactly how he’s failing his son.
Cole takes steps to change this and slowly they become a family unit without actually realising it..
With a romance growing with his dad along the way, taking them both by surprise.
The repetitive parts seemed like padding for a book that wasn’t needed, it took away from the story and spoilt the flow.
As his wife died giving birth I was amazing then Annie was pregnant with triplets he was fine he wasn’t worried at all. The pregnancy was rushed we didn’t see them tell Robbie they was a couple never mind being pregnant and it’s his siblings.
There was literally I'm pregnant, then a scan, then 4 months later she wasin labour then one year later it was the triplets birthday!!!
Totally disappointment going with the title as in reality it seemed the triplets was a secondary minor mention.

A well written story, with a lovely slow-build, heartwarming office romance, billionaire single dad, age gap, sweet and spicy scenes, passion, sweet five-year-old, humor, and a lovely HEA. Couldn't put this down and would recommend for a good evening read.
Cole doesn’t have time for anything other than his business, including the son he's bringing up on his own. So when his nanny leaves suddenly he promotes his receptionist to the job with an offer she can't refuse.
Annie doesn't know anything about children but as she starts to look after Robbie she realises she does know what he's missing and takes steps to change that. With a romance growing with his dad along the way, taking them both by surprise.

She is a receptionist with no experience around children but lands the emergency position for that night and it will change her life forever because there is an instant connection between Annie and Robbie and to make his son happy, he takes all of the obstacles out of Annie's way of becoming Robbie's full-time nanny. This story is a heartfelt joy that had me connecting with Cole, Robbie and Annie as they built a relationship that healed hearts and brought back happiness to a family who had lost so much.

In a bind he gets Annie to agree to watch Robbie for one night…that turned in to a full time job for Annie, aspiring dress designer, she wasn’t a nanny, she wanted to go back to school to get her degree but than a sweet little boy stole her heart and his father stole her heart. Intense steamy time between Cole and Annie, miscommunication and an HEA with a triple twist!.

WOW this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. It was addicted and I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Cole needs a nanny for his son. Annie had a job working being his receptionist of Cole. Cole and Annie had bond over an issue that he was going through in that moment. The chemistry between them was sexual tension and the physical attraction was captivating of emotions and drama. They couldn’t fight the temptation of their feelings as he was intrigued with her beauty and brains as well.

Wowsa this book is so good it will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. Cole needs a nanny when he gives Annie an offer she can't refuse, but what he does not expect is her putting him in his place bu5 when sparks fly and lines crossed can he ever move on from his past? I throughly enjoyed this book and loved the characters in it. It's such a great story that has all the right feels and so much more.

A wonderful story. We follow Annie and Cole who meet when he urgently needs a babysitter for his son Robbie and even though she has no experience with children everything changes when Cole urgently needs her help. It was nice to read how Annie bonded with Robbie and that Cole did everything to make sure she became a full babysitter for Robbie and that he did everything to make that happen. Will they get along and form a family? A beautiful story with emotions and romance.

She is a receptionist in his office and 20 years his junior. He is in desperate need for a Nanny. What starts out as a simple change in jobs for her soon turns into so much more. She helps him grow and heal as a father. I absolutely loved it. Was surprised by the twist in the bedroom. Not full on BDSM more like just a hint. It really upped the spice level.

Challenging the Boss
When Cole needs someone to watch his son for the evening he demands his reception Annie take on the job. This event set the pace for her change in career and lifestyle. I liked how a little something new was learned about the characters as the story progressed. It was a sweet story with emotional tension and excitement.

Not a bad book. It's decent. But it was seriously lacking. It had a potential to be a really good book, but the pregnancy appeared at the very end of the book. Would have made a lot of sense of happening earlier in the book. In general the story was there but the writing was not good. It some ways it was really nice, but the majority of book felt stagnant, robotic, same old frases you read in other books.

I loved Triplet Trouble For My Billionaire Boss by Claire Kirby. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop. Annie and Cole's chemistry was undeniable and their was the perfect amount of spice. I really enjoyed the storyline. I felt it unfolded at a good pace and all the situations were believable.

This book was great, the story line held your attention to the end. I'm so glad that grandpa got his life together and is. Ow able to visit his grandchildren. I was unable to put the book down until I read it completely. It was a very intriguing story. I hope everyone reads it.

Forgive and enjoy
She is a receptionist at Cole company, he needs a nanny for his son. One night and his son is smitten with her and he is obsessed with have her! Can he forgive himself for almost turning his back on his son because of grief. Great character very factual information on dominance and Kink. I highly recommend!!

Another hard to put down hot read

From the moment Annie met Cole face to face, tension began. Cole felt something but was too engrossed in his routines to recognize it. Robbie starving for his Dad’s attention, unites two unlikely hearts into a burning and budding HEA relationship. Tension, steamy, and touching, are all great ingredients for another great Claire Kirby story. It was never long enough, but it was still oh-so-satisfying!
