Colin and his brothers only have a year to find love and marry, or else they lose their grandfather’s inheritance.
He didn’t want or need the money. Colin worked hard to build up his own path in life away from the Norris empire, but his grandpa knew that Colin had an Achilles heel and could get him to fall in line. Colin would do anything for his brothers, and in order for them to inherit Grandpa Norris’s fortune, he had to find himself a wife and get married within the year. But that didn’t mean he needed to stay married…
I love writing and bringing characters to life. I would get ideas for plots or themes for novels by watching TV or seeing an interaction on the street during one of my walks. I have so many ideas that I don't think I will ever be at a loss for a new book to write lol.
Reading romance is one of my favorite pastimes, next to horror books. Love me some Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
Maybe one day I will write in that genre too. Or combine the two......
**Do not diminish an authors hard work by trying to tank her by saying her book is AI. The amount of time I sit down to write everyday to the point I am now having issues with my kidney is not a joke. If you don’t like my work that is fine, if you want to point out things I can work on that is good too. But people messing with authors to get them to quit or lose revenue is appalling. I am not going anywhere..
When I read the title a saw it also said Seven Wives for Seven Brothers, at first I was thinking I don’t know about this. But then I started reading it Tuesday night, it started getting real good I didn’t want to stop reading, I finally finished it Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. I love the movie 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and I love this story, can wait to read the next one. When it comes out I’m going to have to read that on one of my lazy days Sunday afternoon, so I don’t stay up the whole night reading it because knowing me I will not stop until I finish reading it.
I dislike when connected books s take long to release. I was srtuggling to connect these two characters to a previous book.
Colin is a chef and he was the chef for a wedding when he came across his ex from high school. As a favor(and also revenge against Coco) to connect him to his ex, shares in her copany was given or sold to him.
Coco is besides herself when she learns of him owning shares in her company.
Now, Colin's grandpa is using his relationship to force him and his brothers to marry before he passes. Colin figures he will do this by asking his exgirlfriend from high school. Eventually, he face the truth about his actual feelings for her.
Coco is doing everything in her power to not fall for Colin after agreeing to marry him. She know her feelings for him, but she also knows she does not want to experience any romantic hurt again.
I must say Colin's dad is silly in going on for so long the way he has due to his unprocessed grief. At some point you have to get help to deal with grief. His sons are men when decides to BEGIN self reflection. I hope Shayla makes him work for her time!!!!!!
This was a new author to me. Colin and Coco had a past from their high school days. Colins grandfather gave the 7 grandsons, an ultimatum.... Marry in one year or lose the inheritance. Colin decides to approach Coco with an offer. Decisions are made and plans are hatched. Colin was beginning to accept that he had feelings for Coco again. Coco we're starting to realize her feelings for Colin were still there. Their families are funny. Jackie, Abbott, Reena and Matt are hilarious. I can't wait to read their books. Grandpa Norris and Granny C showed that love can continue at any time. The sons father it was a piece of work and truly needs that therapy. I enjoyed the epilog and it ended how it should of. I'll read more from this author.
After hearing a snippet of their backstory in Michael and Ambra's story I was definitely interested in learning what happened between CoCo & Colin. I won't spoil the story, but I will say that I was thoroughly entertained. There was great moments of romance, humor and more. I definitely have a couple new characters. I do have a few theories & looking forward to hearing more about the remaining Norris Brothers.
I enjoyed Colin and Coco storyline. I love the cover of this book. It was about heartbreak and love and how to come back from the pain. I can't wait to read the other brothers story,. The story was a little slow but still good.
A wonderful second chance story for Colin and Coco who were sweethearts in High School and Colin broke her heart They reunite 10 years later and let the fun begin Very relatable characters and an enjoyable story I highly recommend it
