Still a big ICK to the 14-year old there. But the rest of the volume was good and I enjoyed the tension + sexy bits.

Man this is such a pickle to review. For some reason this series characters just don’t hit with me other than the ones getting eliminated lmao of course. The whole higashiyama group is confusing and the whole premise seems muddy now and not even sure what the selection process will result in. Wouldn’t more people be better? I honestly have trouble following why they’re doing it this way and not just hire people?
The titillating art is the only redeeming thing and then again there’s limited nudity much to my surprise. Yes there is some but a couple random pages. But then when you look at the characters they all sorta resemble each other. Like the 3 black haired girls all look identical in the face. Now these things wouldn’t annoy me but there are all these little details that add to my ability to not enjoy this. Doesn’t help they start all look the same and not have much differentiation since they act similar too.
Idk it’s hard I wish there was more set ups like who wants to marry a billionaire but it’s basically been a spy vs spy who’s sabotaging who more hunt.
All this talk of pawns and a game but I’m like for what though?! What game? What’re the rules?
Idk we’ll see if I buy the next one but I’d read this for free if you’re curious enough.

Now that Kouta is in the right headspace and learning to control the field the story is heating up. I am glad Seira is out of the way she was an annoying witch.
