I want to give it more stars, but in honesty I can’t.
It’s a really good story, but you have to suspend reality several times over as you go.
Napoleon invading England?
Thomas and Fanny Bennet, each using shotguns, defending Longbourn while Jane, Lizzy and Mary escape out the back?
Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner allowing their nieces to travel cross country alone to meet strangers?
As I said, suspension of reality is necessary.
There are also a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes throughout.
If you can get past all that, it is enjoyable.

I liked the story a lot, but…
I enjoyed the premise and setting a lot. What I didn’t like is the heavy use of religious mentions of prayer and god and more. I feel like there should be a heads up in the description that there are religious tones - like when people mention how much sexual content there is. Just a heads up for people who aren’t into it. The religious content really distracts and puts me off.
