May 9th couldn’t get here fast enough
Waited oh so patiently and sis you did not disappoint! Didn’t think I could become more obsessed than I was with Raz and Monique’s story, but man oh man was I wrong. You just have a way of telling a story that makes it so clear and I can see it all as I read. Iono where you go from here but I certainly hope this is not last of the Cattaneo Crime Family cuz I’m here for whatever else you got coming! Bravo!!

This Age Gap Makes Sense
Thank you so much for writing an age gap that doesn't rely on creepy power imbalances AND has the younger person with a fully developed brain at least 😂 It was refreshing to see the focus on the aspects of self-realization at the time of transition in Stephanie's life. Self-identity, traumatic past, and a failure to be oneself first are big topics in this book. I really liked them and how they were treated.
Now, her and Julian were a perfect match lol There are so many hilarious moments and lines in this, I read this through with a permanent smile. There was a nice choice of trash people to dislike and I enjoyed Stephanie's BS detector after all her experiences. I loved all the domestic parts between Stef and Julian. The bonds with Ronnie and India were precious. All scenes with Ronnie were amazing. Ofc, my 2 fave scenes were the one Julian had with his parents and the other was when Stef told him her story.
I was surprised this book was about a character that got a brief mention, but I enjoyed it. I'm glad he was different. A romantic. He and Stef had similarly legal protective styles and loved just as hard. The whole chapter where Julian gets that social media point is everything. 😂
Anyway. Looking forward to the next entry! 🖤👌🏾

Absolutely Magnificent
Oh WOW I'm really enjoying this awesome series! This one had me in tears and smiling. I laugh out loud with the couple's funny antics. This story had me totally engaged from the beginning. I really loved and enjoyed the romance between these captivating characters with their awesome chemistry that was filled with sizzling hot passion. Stephanie put herself last her daughter came first because she was a single mom and then her career as the weather diva and her family in-laws included. But then she met Julien who is the older brother of her daughter's college roommate. Julien Cattaneo who was a part of Cattaneo Mafia family he was also very handsome and charming plus all his sister friends had a crush on him and he's also ten years younger than Stephanie or so she thinks. I so enjoyed the way Julien wooed Stephanie it was so irresistible he had every intention of her being his woman but she tried to resist him even though he was doing everything to make her love him. What I enjoyed most was that their devotion to each other and their passion was explosive from the beginning. This story is full of funny, thrilling and sizzling hot moments of drama which had the element of suspense and the one thing that had me talking to these characters especially the secondary male and her daughter. This story is such a pleasurable experience even with the violence and all of the vengeance . Plus the daughter put this over the top for me it was absolutely a surprise. Overall this is definitely a romance of which l greatly enjoyed and I'm excited to read the next story in this series because so far they all are absolutely amazing.

A MASTERPIECE IN WRITING!
FINALLY FINISHED IT, but hated for it to end! I WANT MORE JULIAN AND STEFANIE!
I can't even begin to describe how TRULY AMAZING THIS BOOK IS! I have never laughed, cheered, and swooned so much over a book, and I've read some great work, but this book here I MEAN WHEW CHILE' THIS BOOK HERE!! I had been searching for a spicy, yet cool, and sexy book for us ladies who are just a bit older and yet still got what the cubs want, and I loved every bit of how this author made that happen! This May/December romance was sexy, bold, and EXTRA SPICY WITH A CAPITAL EXTRA SPICY! I absolutely could not put it down. JULIAN CATTANEO IS WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE WHEN YOU'RE LOVED RIGHT! What some might call obsessive, I would call observant. I loved how Julian jumped in with both feet and wouldn't let go! Not it.
This rating is a compromise. I give 3 stars for the writing and 1 star for the storyline. This book was woefully inadequate. What a disappointment. I found that the story was filled with a lot of unnecessary padding of minor details that had very little to do with the plot. And, the so-called "Scandalous Contract" was barely mentioned throughout the several pages.
Now, to the interaction between Julian and Stephanie. They had great chemistry, spending most of their time being intimate. However, Julian, who is younger than Stephanie, carried the relationship, while Stephanie (almost 40) was immature, selfish, and extremely insecure. As a matter of fact, Stephanie and her 18-year-old daughter had about the same level of maturity, which is very little.
There were also several missing parts of the plot with a problematic timeliness. Some things made little sense, which made reading this book painful, for example, Julian's mother's role, etc. As the story dragged, the ending seemed rushed. In conclusion, the story was both long and underdeveloped. Go figure.

If you've read the first two books about the Cattaneo men, you will absolutely love Julian and Stefanie's story. It has all of the elements of a great novel. Initially you think Julian and Stefanie's love story is purely based on their age difference, and her hesitation to pursue this type of relationship. But, this author goes deep into both of their lives and histories, and that's when the story gets really interesting. You will feel so many emotions reading this book. Pain, rage, love, and empathy are a few emotions that surface. These two imperfect humans connect on such a deep level that you can't help but cheer for them by the end.
I would recommend anyone Interested in reading a well written, thought out, robust story with lots of questions, concerns and unexpected revelations to read Scandalous Contract.

Enjoyed this...
Lots of smut, lots of romance, lots of love. I do love a long novel, but the plot twists about Stephanie's past was drug out a little longer than necessary. We could have got to the point faster, didn't need a 500+ page book for what happened and we didn't even get the gory end of some villians. Loved Stephanie and Julian's story, but Stephanie and her daughter were both getting on my nerves. The daughter was a spoiled bratty child and Stephanie had a weird codependent relationship with her, she needed to cut the cord before it got to where it did. For Stephanie to be the "older/cougar" she seemed to be more immature and stunted than Julian who was 11 years younger. Still would have prefer to get at least novellas on Cas/Meka, Tati/Bryson,and Toya/the guard. This story/cousin Julian kinda came out of nowhere.

A true love of a lifetime
This has to be my all time favourite book ever I couldn’t put it down it had me a chokehold 😊. It had me swooning, smiling and bawling my eyes out. I wished I could pull him out the book and make him be mine. Every one deserves to be loved like this obsessively and completely. To have someone that makes you smile even when you don't want to. Who makes you feel loved, even when you’re at your lowest. Who sees you, even when you feel invisible. But most importantly someone who is willing to go to hell and back to protect you and keep you safe, damn with the consequences…. Think he has ruined me for other men, cause if they can’t

Worth It!!
Society is cool with May-December romances as long as it’s the male that is older. But what’s wrong with the woman being older? Nothing and when you read this book by M’Renee you will agree.
Stefanie and Julian have an intense response to each other on sight and it quickly ignites into something far more than planned. At least for Stefanie at first.
Outside forces conspire to tip Stefanie’s world paper and keep her and Julian apart. But Julian is not about to give her up and will burn the city to ashes to keep her. Some folks are going to wish they had not focused on Stefanie.
Get this book and enjoy this amazing journey. Joy well done Ms. Allen!!

He Knows What He Wants!!!!
This book was so well written, I literally finished it in one day. Julian may have been young in age but was definitely an old soul who knew exactly what and who he wanted!!! He was determined to show Stefanie that they're no red flags when you truly love someone; only green flags to show them that they are seen, heard, and appreciated.
Stefanie was a woman who's life was filled with trauma that made it difficult to not only let her walls fall down, but not let her past dictate her present and her future.
Julian was determined to show Stefanie that age is nothing but a number!!!

The Details … Details … Details! Thank you for providing the background information it was so essential to understand and enjoy this storytelling. Now India was an entitled brat and that was from Archie DNA and Stefani over coddling and fear of India not needing her anymore. Stefani self esteem should have and how she was treated by Archie’s family should have led her to therapy long ago! Julian’s character was more mature and I love that he showed his intent and Stefani was too immature to accept it! Hudson was a creep and I was tickled pink when he got what he deserved! Loved Ride or Die Ronnie! Aubrey was the Best!!!!

Older woman younger man, hot!
I enjoyed reading this book! I love the older woman, younger man genre, and the BWWM was a bonus. Their banter in the beginning was off-the-chain hot!
I took off one star bc the author dragged out the descriptive emotions; pages of it. Yawn! Also the heroine was weak time after time. Seventeen years and no emotional maturity? Instead, everything had to be perfect for her to decide to grow. It became so annoying I skipped pages.
Yet the lows of this author’s style does not detract enough to keep me from looking forward to her next book/series.

Julian Cattaneo!
I thought that Orazio Cattaneo was my dream man but he’s been replaced by Julian. He swept me off my feet like he did Stefanie and, damn, that boy is crazy, sweet and a beast when it comes to protecting his woman Stefanie Adams! This story was filled with love, passion (scorching) with some violence thrown in. This one hit different but it is totally worth the ups and downs and bumps in the road. This is my favorite novel by Ms. Allen and that’s saying something because this girl can write. Still fanning myself.

This book had more depth than I was expecting. Julian was a character from the moment he entered the story. He knew what he wanted and Stephanie did not know what hit her!. All of the characters played an integral role to make this story so enjoyable and more "realistic". I loved everything that Julian did to convince Stephanie that he was serious. I loved getting to see inside his mind. The only thing is that I wish they could have children - I know ..... I know but I love when that happens. Loads of feelings were triggered whilst reading this book and that = a great read.

M.A has struck GOLD once again with book 3 of these Cattaneo men!!!!! Julian put it down and I fell in love. This is such a beautiful love story, I was up, then down. I rooted for them every step of the way, I hurt when they hurt, laughed when Julian said something silly. I felt like I was on the front row of their lives and I love the support from all around!!!! This is sooooo worth reading, Julian is truly an ALPHA and I would’ve been his cougar with no hesitation!!!!!

This book was amazing and I was on in my feeling reading this book. I could not put it down. I felt the pain, heart break, love and everything else. If you want to fall in love with a roaring lion that turns into a loveable kitty then this is the book for you. He is a savage, killer and lover. I love this author and her books. A must read.

The one liners had me cracking up.
Julian and Stefanie are good together. He is younger and she is older, a single mother and widowed.
He knows what he wants in a partner. But, she keeps letting her history dictate how a relationship with her should look. She is doubting his love, even though it is back by his actions.

Was packed in this book I presume because its the last in the series soo it was kinda extra long but, it was filled with a lot of drama, and a lot of undercurrent but intriguingly good to hold your interest to the end...good read I hope thus is not the end...looking for more to come....

Spicy
It was a nice story. It started out with a good flow, but some of Stephanie's chapters made me yawn.. but when Julian was loving on her, oooweee it will make you clutch your pearls and have you fanning yourself after catching the vapors.
I would've loved if the author would've written more of the pain Hudson endured. I felt the ending was rushed.

I really enjoyed this book! It was extremely mysterious, it shocked me, teased me, elated me, and I recommend it be read if you love to read about love! It just goes to show, when you really love someone there is no one that can come between you and who you love!

breath taking!
What a great love story! I never wanted it to end. I was so envious of their lovemaking and relationship. Many times I stopped reading and wondered could this be possible in real life? To have a man be so in love, so devoted to his woman and her daughter? If so, send me my man now! Will definitely be reading her other books.

This book is so streamy. There’s instant chemistry and instead of being a cocky asshole, the MMC is dominant in way that protective and supportive. He doesn’t want to control her wants her safe and happy and will do anything to provide and honey he does. I did want to slap her daughter blind for meddling I her mother’s love life but what a plot twist and ending !

Another crazy Cattaneo gets his woman. Enjoyed Julian and Stefanie's journey to their HEA. Although Stefanie makes you want to slap her, she finally comes to her senses. And yes spoiled India needed that one good ass beating. Stefanie should have clocked her for her bad behavior. Glad India saw the light.
Good storyline and characters.

A real page turner
I loved all three books so far in this series. Julian is swoon worthy and such a lovable character. I loved Stefani's strength, and every girl/woman should have a friend like Ronnie. I loved the twists in this book and like my title says, a real page turner. M Renee Allen, your rock!

A page turner
I loved this book. It was pure drama. I loved the chemistry between Julian and Stef. The ups and downs, and how communication is key. Secrets come out in the end but how they dealt with them was endearing.
Highly recommend.
