ARC Review:

TLDR: Spice 3.5 or 4 out of 5. FMC is a relatably defiant sweetheart (and freak). MMC is a freaky, authoritative alien with a nice body- who wouldn't want that? Overall, it was a nice, feel good romance (with a good amount of spice).

MAIN CHARACTERS
-I found Mona to be a relatable FMC in that I, too, can be defiant and challenging as a natural response! Even as a submissive, she still had a backbone which I enjoyed- she was never weak appearing. She also had a great heart and seemed to look out for everyone else. In the listed tropes adverstised in this book, Mona is stated to be a plus sized FMC but unless I missed it, I didn't really get that BBW vibe. Or at least, it didn't seem to be plainly stated. Yes, she's mentioned as having large breast-tiddies (lol) but she's also stuck on a planet where the females have none so that's a bit subjective.
-As for Ronen, did I end up forgetting he was an alien and just thinking of him as hot? Yes, yes I did. From the moment we meet Ronen, I knew he would be a "big dog but secret sweet puppy". He gives off that "respectfully, i'm about to put you in your place" vibe, and I'm here for it. I do wish we got to see a little bit more of the scary Thelx that he was mentioned to be, just to understand the other view points, but you could still see that he had character growth. SPICE- I would rate it around a 3.5 or 4 out of 5.
I did find it funny when Ronen would talk dirty, but using his own language for like one or 2 words.

OVERALL- There were times that I felt the story kind of jumped forward or skipped over some things, and points of conflict in the story almost seem to resolve too quickly (just about all of the threats were eliminated immediately. You didn't have time to even think about who would win because it was already over). Also, as great as Mona is, I thought it was odd that she was accepted as a possible Qel so quickly by the other Dominuris. However, I genuinely enjoyed this read and breeze through it. It was a feel good read and the romance was the main driving force. For me, the book got better as I read and became more invested in the characters. Mona has it GOOD! I am really interested to see the author develop stories for the side characters. I would definitely continue reading the series because I want to see if my girl Jaz has a change of heart anytime soon!

When I saw that Ronen was a spicy alien bdsm novel I was excited to give it a read. I have never read a book in this genre but I’m really glad I gave it a chance! It was definitely a fun read and something different for me.

This may be childish of me but I loved the moments where Ronen was trying to use Mona’s language during the spicy moments. I giggled every time he said breast tiddies 🤭 again I’m childish 🤷🏾‍♀️. But truth be told Ronen was my favorite character in the book. I loved his pet name for her, his protection of her, and the way he took care of her after their sessions. I also loved Mona. She was open minded and strong willed.

My favorite scene in the book was their trip to The Nexus. When you get to that part… you’ll understand 😏.

While I did enjoy this book, I wish there was a little more to the plot.

I really hope Keres continues this series. I already have possible relationships I see playing out. I may be wrong but a girl can speculate can’t she 😅

Mona, and friends are drifting in space. Warblers invade their ship, and request them to be their breeders. They refused the request. Their ship is destroyed, and they are captured.. The aliens' culture is BDSM. Kyren devises a plan for Mona to steal a space ship. Mona goes to the palace, and is caught by the Thelx. He does not arrest her. Thelx makes a deal with Mona. She will be his submissive for a specific time frame. At the end of this time frame, she will get a space ship. Mona, and her friends want to return to earth. Mona begins to fall for the Thelx. I enjoyed reading this book!!! The male, and females on this planet can dominant, or submissive. The storyline was well written, and it flowed well. The characters were likeable, and well developed. There is love, passion, exhibition, danger, and death.

Omg a whole Alien BDSM situation...I'm in love with this book! The way Mona and Ronen relationship was sexy. hot & sweet all at the same time. And what book without the haters trying to be inference in a great dynamic. I will say Torin lord he was protective over his Thelx. Don't get me started about the Warblers yuck! His uncle Syte bruh smh and Xeki if delusional was a person smh...Now I need Nic. Jazz, Torin and Ronen brother to get a book and byrl

I got this book as an ARC in return for an honest review. When i signed up to read this book I read spicy Alien and i knew i was going to be interested. I got to say this book was different but in very good way. Who knew Aliens could be hot?! Keres Nolan did. The writing was really good and it wasn’t just smut. Definitely a good read for someone who likes odd and out of the normal romance books.

This is a very direct and unique story. I liked how the system and primary planets have dominant and submissive-based lives. It is written as a basic part of their lives from birth. It isn't a kink, it's a life force, it's just the way they are. The scenes are erotic and detailed. Even with the politics, Galaxy views, and actions, the D/s life is there.

this book was the best of all worlds! aliens, bdsm, morally grey mmc AND the spice was top tier! I loved every minute. I didnt want it to end! Mona and Ronen's relationship is goals! I love the character development of Mona as well. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book!

It was great! I loved the rich alien culture snd the ML and FL.
I won’t give any spoilers. If you like D/S and spice on an alien world in a galaxy unlike our own, this is the read for you. I can’t wait for book 2!
