A cozy sapphic witchy best friends to lovers romance novella. This is part of the Cobblestone Coven series. A different pair each series with different tropes. But all are cozy romantic reads for your autumn and winter nights.

I enjoyed the unspoken attraction growing between Juniper and Senna since they never thought they would ever be interested in each other in that way with occasional bouts of jealousy along the way.

If you like cozy and sweet romances with cute familiars and animals running around then you will enjoy these.

I'd like to thank the author for the free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ghost Story Witch is another installment in the Cobblestone Coven series by Ariana Jade. This quick and sweet read follows Juniper through a breakup and a sudden attraction to her best friend, Senna—something she initially attributes to rebounding. Is it worth the risk to their longstanding friendship to find out?
I love Juniper's adorable ferret familiar, Bandit. He's a rascal!
The author mentions a character having a period, which is a nice detail because it’s a real thing that happens, and including it makes the characters more believable.
I enjoy Juniper and Senna's friendship dynamic, and although Juniper's feelings for her seem sudden, the two have a shared history, so it doesn't feel underdeveloped.
They are very likable characters.
I like seeing more of Cobblestones.
Ariana Jade is a go-to for sweet, romantic stories full of magic and happy endings. They always leave me with a smile on my face.

Heartless break-ups are the worst
Some relationships just don’t work out (and many never should have started in the first place).
People who do things like this are similar to ghosts in that they ‘can leave energy behind in a space even when they’re not there’. Don’t allow yourself to be haunted because of somebody else’s unresolved issues. Cry and vent all you want until all that negative energy is out of your system. Gazpacho or a good chutney can help…along with some mulled wine and magical pralines.

This is my first book by this author, but it definitely won’t be the last. This book is a standalone book and can be read without reading the others in the series. I really liked Juniper as a character, and I loved her friendship with Senna that slowly turns into something more. To me, this is an excellent, short, simple, fun, and romantic book that is a good palate cleanser between longer books, because you always know what you’re going to get. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

I really like the Cobblestone Coven series and was looking forward to this book which follows a different character than the main books in the series. This one is about Juniper, her girlfriend breaks up with her out of nowhere and she has to adjust to life without her. Then she slowly starts developing feelings for her best friend Senna. This book starts on Halloween, then there is Bonfire Night as well as a Christmas market, a Valentine's date and the epilogue takes place during Halloween the next year. It made it feel very festive and fun.

I had a lot of fun reading this one. I enjoyed getting to know Juniper and see her close bond with Senna as that slowly grows into more. I liked reading about the festivities they attend like the Bonfire Night and Christmas market. I also really liked Juniper's familiar Bandit, who is a very active and boisterous ferret, he was so fun to read about it and really added to the book. The ghosts stories Senna tells Juniper about the places they visit were fun to read about and sometimes a bit sad as well.

I liked reading about Juniper and Senna, they are best friends and their close bond is obvious. It takes a bit of time after her previous breakup before Juniper realizes she's in love with Senna and then more time before she finally confesses that. I liked reading about these two and seeing how they make their relationship work. The epilogue was super sweet and made me happy for the characters.

This one also has some fun mentions of the characters from the main books. The characters stop by at the café were Cassie works and they are part of the same friend group. I also liked seeing a bit more of the world with Juniper having a ferret familiar as well as the ghosts stories and some mentions of their magic. I wouldn't have minded a bit more magic tough.

To summarize: This was a fun and sweet festive story. Juniper's girlfriend breaks up with her out of nowhere and she has to adjust to that and as she spends more time with her best friend Senna realizes she's in love with her. This one has a very festive vibe with it taking place from Halloween till Valentine's day and having Bonfire Night and a Christmas market visit between that with the epilogue taking place during Halloween the next year. There are some spooky and witchy vibes too with senna telling Juniper ghosts stories about the places they visit. I liked reading about Juniper and Senna, they have such a close bond and I liked seeing them grow even closer. Bandit the ferret was so cute and fun to read about. And I liked the mentions of Cassie and Faye from the main books and the visit to the cafe were Cassie works. All in all a very fun addition to this series and I can't wait to read more books in this series.

Book 4 in the Cobblestone Coven series. A sapphic paranormal rom-com with witches (and their familiars). Well, a sapphic best friends to lovers novella. This can be read as a standalone or part of the series. I would have liked more on Ally's appearance but definitely a cute read.

Ghost Story Witch by Ariana Jade/Arizona Tape is a low-angst, light-hearted addition to their Cobblestone Coven series. As in all their books, there is a HEA for main characters Juniper and their best friend Senna. The reader must watch Juniper not realizing their body’s reactions to Senna are indications they are “catching feelings” for Senna. In classic fashion, if only both of them talked about what was happening, they could have gotten together much sooner. The talking animal familiars provide comic relief and the occasional piece of good advice. The acquisition of a familiar is a rite of passage that reveals a new level of maturity in the chosen witch. It is fun to see more of the town where all the activity takes place in this book and the previous two. While Ghost Story Witch can be read as a stand-alone, it includes a character from the earlier books, so it would provide Cassie’s backstory. I enjoy escaping into the author’s idyllic worlds as a break from the depressing reality in the US today. I received an advance copy of the book, and I am leaving the review voluntarily.

I'm loving these books so much, they're just so cosy. They're like a comfort read!
Ghost Story Witch was another delightful read, I loved the story progression and the character developments, Marceline was a bitch though and Juniper deserved better. I really like Juniper and her familiar Bandt - he was so cute! I loved Senna and her ghost stories, I found them so interesting. I loved the relationship between Senna and Juniper.
The cobblestone coven series is written so well, its easy to dive into and get lost reading, the stories are cosy and the characters are like friends by the end of the books. You get invested in each character and I love reading to see what outcome they all get. I can't wait to read more.

The pulling of the petals, literary style, " She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not!" We all go through this angst when we meet someone who suddenly starts mattering to us, even when it's the best friend you have had for decades. It wasn't that long for these two characters, but the angst was still there and as strong as any of the emotions. Even when we are convinced it would ruin the friendship, the angst is prevalent and it has to be painful for the friends not involved. I definitely recommend this book and look forward to the one I still don't have.

Two friends, two girls, one breakup and a very unhappy young witch!

Juniper's ex dumped her and good riddance, okay it hurt! But when your young and your best friend Senna comes over and for some reason Juniper noticed things about her bff. But Juniper tells Senna that she has noticed another girl and Juniper cannot come up with a reason why her bff is acting strangely toward certain other girls they both know. Why is Senna acting like she wants to bite off that particular girl nose off? Enjoy!

I felt so sorry for Juniper. How the breakup between her and Marceline happened, or more like when it happened. Wow that was brutal. But I am happy that Juniper and Senna actually found their mutaul like and more in each other. And it is actually amazing that they found love in ieach other after how many years of just being friends. Talk about slow burn...

I thoroughly loved this story. I enjoyed reading this twice....
The best part of this story is when Juniper finds herself in a little pickle. Does she tell her friend about her feelings, or does she hide them? The best is yet to come, and that is that Juniper has a familiar who loves seeing Senna every time she visits & Bandit is a cool dude!

Sweet story following best friends Juniper and Senna in the Cobblestone Coven series. After a bad breakup, Juniper wants nothing more than to get on with her life and Senna is there to help her pick up the pieces. With cute familiar antics and ghost stories along the way, a friendship changes to a romance. A very enjoyable read.

I enjoyed reading this book, and the ghost stories added a special touch to the story. My favorite part, however, are the characters and the realism the author creates them from.

Juniper and Senna best friends for a long time. Juniper's ex dumped her on Halloween, after three years together. Senna to the rescue, helped her get over that. Best friend ever. Good story.

Halloween is usually Juniper’s favorite holiday, but a breakup has her down in the dumps. Her best friend, Senna, is there to cheer her up and keep her from withdrawing from the world. Over the course of a year, the two spend more time with each other, with Senna telling ghost stories about different places in Cobblestones. Slowly, Juniper becomes aware that she’s feeling attracted to her bestie, but is worried about ruining their friendship. And besides, Senna surely doesn’t feel the same. But what if she does?

The Ghost Story Witch & the Boisterous Ferret is a side story in the Cobblestone Coven series with a friends to lovers theme. The awakening feelings between Juniper and Senna are sweet as little things start to add up. Juniper’s familiar, Bandit, the boisterous ferret is adorable and his antics and love of treats adds comic relief throughout. The ghost stories are also a nice addition and are more touching than scary adding to the coziness of the series. While a short read, the characters have depth and their relationship is authentic. I enjoyed getting to know more members of the Cobblestone Coven.

This book is my favorite in the series so far. I love all the unique ghost stories from different parts of town. The familiar ferret truly made the story enjoyable for me. I would love to see more of this couple and their animals in future books.

I like this sweet return to hometown romance. It made me smile as I waited for Senna’s next ghost story. I can’t wait to see which friend hooks up next or what’s waiting for us with Cassiopeia and Balthazar.
