These books are Fun! And intense! And hot! This one is even hotter than the first.
If you like mafia romance and enemies to lovers in a «The beauty and the beast» setting, this is for you!
If you read the first book, which follows Emilio’s story, you have already stumbled upon Alessandrio, who is Emilio’s brother and the family’s «Capo».
Alessio is the one who makes the dirty work. He is a beast, in every way.
And he seeks revenge.
The victim is his enemy’s son, Riccardo, and to reach him, Alessio finds the man’s «supposed weak spot»: Olivia, a blonde beauty who was kept hidden from her father’s world.
But Olivia’s situation is far from the one Alessio imagines.
After her father passed, Olivia inherits his fortune and her brother, Riccardo is actually hunting her.
BUT ALESSANDRIO FINDS HER FIRST.

I love everything about this book. The tension, the unexplainable attraction, his rudeness, and the way FMC and MMC think so much alike despite looking and behaving differently.

After falling so deeply in love with Made Beast, I wasn't sure I had a lot of room left in my brain for a second monster brother.
But boy, was I wrong.
This slow burn was so worth the wait, like watching honey drip from a spoon, it takes it's time at first and then you're swimming through delicious moments between Olivia and Alessandrio and devouring how palpable their relationship is going to be.
This series is one of my favourite mafia series to dive into. It has twists. It has turns. It has powerful women and monsters just trying to get through life with horns and claws, wondering if they really can find someone to love them.
Please prepare some space for Drio and Olivia because Made Monster is a ride, and you're gonna wanna strap in and savour every moment.
But boy, was I wrong.

This book was so predictable, another few hours wasted. I knew it was too good to be true that the first book in this series was surprisingly different, but this second one feels like an extension of the first with zero plot and zero chemistry between the main characters. I honestly do not know what the author was thinking when deciding to write this.
I DNF’d at 74%, and yet it must have been somehow addictive for me to get that far, which is the only reason this is getting 2 stars. I read for fun, and this simply was not enjoyable enough to keep me going.

The second book featuring the second Greco brother is a fun read. Featuring dual POV’s.
Alessandrio is ruthless and cold hearted. When he finds his enemies sister tucked away in a boarding school, he kidnaps her as a means to an end only to discover that she is not at all what he believed.
Olivia has a chunk of her life missing, taken to a boarding school as a child she discovers her father had connections to a powerful mafia family and a brother who wronged another mafia family has her unwittingly thrown into a life she never wanted.
This is definitely enemies to lovers. The burn is slow, but once it ignites it is fire. 🔥
I enjoyed the pace of the story, the plot and the family dynamics. I highly recommend reading the first book to appreciate this story.

The unhinged brother
I’ve been waiting so long for this book and holy smokes it blew all my expectations out of the water. Not gonna lie, I’m usually a cinnamon roll girlie so the beginning was a tad rough for my liking BUT I can confidently say I loved every part of it. It was messy and delicious. They loved to hate each other and hated to love each other. I knew the ending was going to go up in smoke but nothing could have prepared me for what actually happened. I absolutely look forward to anything else Charlotte Powers writes. The way she is able to spin a story and make poetry with her words is breathtaking. So many good lines that will stick with me for a long time to come. My favorite, “I cannot be your hero, but I can be your f**king villain”. Oh. Em. Gee.

I was looking forward to Alessio's story and the author did not dissapoint. I finished this book in one day.
Alessio is a man turned beast (literally) and he's looking for revenge for the murder of his father. And who could be better for the job but his enemy's daughter. He stalks her, toying with his prey until she thinks she is losing her mind. Then he kidnaps her, whisking her away to his sky scraper and that's when the fun begins! Omgosh, from the tension and the angst and the turmoil inside both characters - a beautiful story unfolds. A true enemies to lovers. I also laughed out loud a few times, the banter between characters is 🤌

The book finishes with a happy ending, even though the road there is bumpy.

I feel like this was an amazing sequel to the 1st book. While I do occasionally like pure filth, I prefer a story. I want the character and world building before slam, bam, Thank you, ma'am. This book had the perfect ratio of smut to story to where the smut enhanced the story line instead of feeling forced.
I loved Lessio and how he battled his continioning along with navigating the world he was raised in. The fact that we saw his fight and struggle to trust before finally opening up made me so proud.
Olivia was a child of her circumstances. Locked behind a fence her whole life, she had no idea what was waiting for her. I loved watching as she became more sure of herself and grew to shine inside and out

In order build the foundation of the “enemies” portion of enemies to lovers, there is nothing but sexual tension and harsh retorts (chefs kiss) until over half way through the book. They truly are enemies at the start (which I thoroughly enjoy) but through close proximity and a plan that puts them on the same side they slowly, grow closer. The build up of sexual tension crests and the chemistry between them explodes into a relationship full of love and understanding. Once the spice starts it is guaranteed to require a fresh pair of panties.
Powers does an amazing job showing the progression as their relationship begins to take shape in a realistic fashion. I enjoy her writing style and look forward to reading more of her work.

I was so excited for Alessandrio’s book! He is our GRUMPY mafia capo who has hidden himself since turning into a monster. On his request for revenge, he finds Olivia, and decides to take her to lure her brother out of hiding. Turns out, it doesn’t work like he expected.
I love seeing Alessio’s ice crack around his heart. And this man/monster was HOTTTT. And Olivia finding out that this big Ol’ monster turns her on???? 🥵 The spice was DELICIOUS.
And seeing our MMCs from the first book again was the icing on the cake. Daddy Emilio?!?? Perfection.

Read book 1 in a day so was hopefull of book 2 - Story of Olivia and Alessandro and pretty much takes off where book 1 ends, Olivia is in a secure boarding school due to being the illigitimate daughter of a top ranking mobster with both her own brother trying to kill her as well as the beastly brothers, We catch up with Emilio and Lucia which is nice and move onto the new adventures and love that developes between Alessandro and olivia despite both of their attempts to deny it - moves from the enemy of my enemy is my friend to red hot lovers.

This book, while cute, didn’t captured my attention. It took a long time for the story to kick off, with a great initial draw but then it slowed down. I liked the hero; he was funny, at times. The heroine was ok, a bit of feisty and sweet, push and pull. A sort of grumpy-sunshine. I felt the plot needed darker themes or something more to propel it as, in the end, the story simply wasn’t for me.

couldn’t put it down
Book one was alright, think I DNF’d it 1st time I read it but decided to give it another go and was happy enough to read book two. I loved Made Monster, I fell in love with Liv and Drio because their romance seemed genuine.

I honestly hope and wish this series to continue forever because this has been one of my favorite monster beauty and the beast inspired mafia series to date. I devoured this book and I honestly was sad when I finished because it was just that good.

This is the perfect follow up to Made Beast! It has the perfect amount of spice and helps the story along amazingly! The banter is funny and the chemistry is to die for!

I like this series this book was good it kept getting better and better I love ❤️🔥Alessandrio and Olivia❤️🔥 together they were a force when together I wish there were more books in this series Alessandrio just kept trying to deny his feelings for her while everyone around him knew and was making jokes about it 🤣 this book felt like it was missing something idk what just something but other then that missing piece I really enjoyed it I don’t have much to say this book is spicy and it has a happy ending with no cliffhangers it has no love triangle or cheating (there is a sexual encounter that happens before they make it official) and some of the tropes are Enemies to Lovers, Forced Proximity, Fake Dating and Kidnapping but back to the spice there is a lot of it be prepared😉😜 overall I rated this book 4 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
