ESV The Biggest Story Holy Bible for Kids is a wonderful and engaging Bible to help children grow in their love for God and his word. Looking back, one of the greatest helps in my own growth in God’s Word was a study Bible for children. The Biggest Story Holy Bible for Kids has become my gold standard.
This ESV Bible has all the great tools you would want, including book introductions, maps, and a glossary. I was especially pleased to see that even in the introductions there are headshot-style illustrations and brief biographies of the main characters in each book. This may seem like a small detail, but it shows the thought and care that went into crafting a Bible specifically for kids.
Study Notes, Bible Stories, and More Special Features
There are 680 helpful and interesting study notes that provide definitions, explanations, and insights. Incredibly unique to this Bible are 104 Bible story sections with QR codes that link to animated videos. I love how this incorporates technology and a different method of learning without being intrusive or distracting.
Special features include Did You Know? boxes that point out and explain key details. Digging Deeper devotionals helps children move from what they learn to how they live. The Seeing the Snake Crusher feature highlights important passages that help readers see Jesus—especially in the Old Testament—showing how the whole Bible points to Him.
Growing Up with God’s Word
This is the brightest, most vibrant, beautiful Bible I have. The illustrations are epic and kept my children’s captivated. The entire book is a work of art.
This is my new favorite Bible, and I’m glad that it’s the one my children will grow up with. It brings me joy to see children taking hold of God’s Word—and, even more amazing, God’s Word taking hold of them.

What a beautiful resource!
I absolutely love The Biggest Story Bible Storybook and The Biggest Story Family Devotional, and I’m thrilled to now have The Biggest Story Holy Bible for Kids as part of our family library. My oldest is turning 6, and this will be the perfect bible for him and for use in our family devotional time as well.
The Biggest Story Holy Bible for Kids is written with kids ages 6-12 in mind and is the complete Holy Bible. This bible has so many incredible features to help kids study, make connections, and comprehend well. There are Bible book introductions, keywords with definitions included, key verses, and prompts to help kids apply what they’ve learned in God’s Word to their lives.
This bible can be easily paired with The Biggest Story Curriculum, another phenomenal resource.
I love the art prints and the verse cards as well. The verse cards include scripture from Genesis through Revelation.
The Biggest Story materials are truly fantastic, and I’m so grateful for them.
