Alpha’s Spy Bride is suspenseful and a page turning wolf shifter romance. I absolutely enjoyed reading this novel, which I thought to be captivating from beginning to end. I also did NOT want to set it down until I read the last page. Alpha’s Spy Bride is phenomenally written, well balanced and beautifully executed by Krista Lark. Krista Lark continues to prove to me what a phenomenal author she is with each amazing romance I have read by her so far. Alpha’s Spy Bride follows the story of Dane and Mallory. I absolutely adored getting to know these two amazing characters as well as seeing their story come to life throughout the book. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Dane and Mallory is undeniably irresistible. Alpha’s Spy Bride is definitely a book that I would give as a recommendation for anyone who is looking for a new werewolf romance to read. I can hardly wait to see what Krista Lark will come up with for her next book.

The concept of espionage is not new. Using family that you hate is villainous. Even though she was exhiled her father decided that she would make a controllable pawn. Little did he know his own actions have created his downfall. Controlling the secondary pack for the town, he has decided to play the game and accept the daughter as his wife. She will be his pawn to win the game. Will she survive and control the game or will she lose not only the war but her life. This is intense and a little dark. The romance is slow burning but could be the answer to everything.

The best laid plans don't always work out!

Enjoyed this book. Moody's dad should have known better not to trust her.He kicked her out of the pack and expected her to be loyal and be his spy. Although Dane did not trust Mallory, he did not I'll treat her. I'm glad he realised how true feelings for her before it was too late. Had he waited until the war was over, he would not have been able to convince her of his true love. Mallory would have left and returned to the human world for good.

These characters have unique personalities, complicated histories, and believable interactions. This story has the following: a woman that her father is using as a pawn, manipulation, arranged engagment, surprises, intrigue, drama, danger, twists, turns, suspense and HEA.
