I had mixed feelings about this story. There were aspects that I loved but sadly it was a book that didn't quite grab my attention in the way that I had hoped it would. I really loved the idea of this story. A rockstar singer falling in love with a single mum. It was like a modern day fairytale and the characters (although at times frustrating) were ones that I enjoyed getting to know. Jet was a the lead singer of the successful rock band Jetson. As much as Jett loved his rockstar lifestyle he longed for someone special to enter his life. He was a bit of a romantic and couldn't wait to find his soul-mate. I really liked Jett. There was no signs of any arrogance or any of the other behaviour that I would associate from someone in his position. He was a caring and loyal guy who had a heart of gold.
All of these years looking for the perfect girlfriend and now I've hit the jackpot; sexy, cute, funny, how did I get so fucking lucky.

Dolly was a young single mum, who turned Jett's world upside down. Meeting Jett really was a dream come true for her, although it didn't seem like it at the time. Dolly did not make it easy for poor Jet. When Dolly and Jett first met, their feelings towards each other were instant and their relationship progressed quite quickly but it wasn't long before the pair faced the first of many challenges. Dolly and Jett's journey was an extremely bumpy ride. With problem after problem I began to wonder if this pair were meant to be and then to top it all off the author through in one huge curve ball that I did not see coming. Big points to C.A Ellis for that one!
"Dolly, if I hold you close to me, if I really hold on to you tightly for long enough, you'll stay, right?"

It wasn't long into the story when I began to get a little angry with how the couple dealt with everything. I guess their immaturity and lack of experience in a relationship began to show, especially with Dolly. That girl was sending me loopy and I found myself feeling increasingly sorry for Jett. The guy could not seem to do anything right. Luckily for Dolly, Jett was relentless and refused to give up on his girl.
"Baby, you're my horizon because no matter how far I look, I'll only ever see you."
Jetson was written from both characters perspective so I felt that I got to know Dolly and Jett really well. I also enjoyed meeting the other characters from the band and catching up with Lizzy and Lucas from the first book in the series. Although they only made a short appearance therefore this book can be read as a a standalone as there are no major spoilers.

The story of Jett and Dolly was one hell of a bumpy ride that left me feeling a little bit crazy but it ended in just the way that I had hoped it would. Thank goodness!

"Jetson" gets ❤️❤️❤️.5 from me.

I was given this ARC in return for an honest review and an honest review is what Carol deserves .
Dolly is a single mother of one young boy who both live with her parents . Her son Rafe is a bit of an early riser and to let her parents have a lie in she takes her son to the local skateboard park where she meets a hot sexy tattooed guy with a skateboard .
Jett is the lead singer of the biggest band this year - Jetson . Sex drugs and rock 'n' roll are the life of the band until he meets Dolly and Rafe on the ramps and his world is turned upside down by the uncontrollable force that is Dolly .
The characters chemistry is electrifying . Carol has such a way with words that gets you hooked from the very first page and doesn't let you go until the very last page . After reading The Vine , Carol's debut novel , I thought Lucas and Lizzy ( which both have a brief mention in Jestson ) were the perfect couple until we meet Jett and Dolly . The raw emotion that these two share just makes your heart melt . On one page Carol has got you with a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye then on the next page your actually crying with laughter .
I thought The Vine was brilliant but Jetson is in-fucking-credible !
Well done Carol I absolutely love this book . You keep getting better and better ! I really can't wait to read Katy's story .
This is one series I will be shouting about from the rooftops !!

Get ready for Jetson, these Brit boys are hardcore and will rock your world!

Oh I loved this second book in the Entwined in the Vine series. However you do not need to have read The Vine in order to enjoy this novel as it can be read as a complete standalone.

We briefly meet Jett in the Vine, as he is a good friend of Lizzy and Katy's. The nice guy living a dream who always had a kind word and a solid shoulder to lean on. I knew he was a sweetheart, but my goodness... be prepared to seriously fall for this guy in Jetson.

This is the story of Jett Matthews and Dolly 'Daydream' Winters. Jett is a rising rock star. His band Jetson may hail from English shores but they have smashed the US music scene, only to come back home to mass hysteria. Everyone wants a piece of these boys, especially the inked ex-tattooist and lead singer of the band. That is everyone except the young single Mother who has no idea who he is...

Jetson have a brief reprieve in their recording and touring schedule. The tabloids are not expecting them back for a few more days so Jett makes a split decision to hit the local skatepark. But he is shocked to find even at this early hour, that he isn't alone.

Dolly may still be young but with big responsibilities and this particular morning it was keeping her 4-year-old son from waking up the whole household, well... okay, just her hardworking professional parents.

Jett and Dolly collide one morning at dawn, she with the baby pink hair and shy smile, he with the beanie hate, skateboard and abundance of tattoos.
Two strangers.
One skatepark.
Zero interruptions.

He wasn't looking for love, she didn't believe she would ever find it... but fate has other ideas.

I loved the flow of this book, and the notion of anonymity. Dolly was a breath of fresh air for Jett as he was so used to groupies and casual sex on tap that he never envisioned meeting a woman who treated him the same as everyone else. That boy falls and he falls hard!

Dolly is a young but very attentive Mother to her son Rafe, even though she has had it hard, the support of her parents has seen her through the toughest times of abandonment by 'the sperm donor.' Putting those days behind her, Dolly is ready to move on, but nothing is more important to her than Rafe, so when Dolly and Jett decide to date, she is elated that her life is finally taking a turn for the better and he seems willing to accept her little baggage. That is until she finds out who Jett really is and has to make the toughest decision of her life...

Loves little dilemma; does Dolly stay knowing that her family's life will suddenly be thrown in the limelight and under the notorious tabloid bus, or run... taking her son and her sensitive heart away from the one person who loves them both unconditionally in order to keep them 'safe?'

Jett and Dolly's relationship should have been so simple, but when dating a famous rock star, nothing is ever straightforward, which is where the angst in this story comes in.

Rafe is a sweetheart, he is so funny and you will fall in love with this kid and the way he and Jett not only form a bond but a true love for each-other proving that this isn't just a love story between a man and a woman, but a story of family, trust, friendship, loyalty and sacrifices made that affects all.

From Madison Square Garden to a small skatepark in London, Jett is a man of many talents and not just on stage, if ya know what I mean. ;)

I could appreciate Dolly's dilemmas, and even though there were a couple of scenarios where I felt she over-reacted, I loved their dynamics. My only gripe is the whole 'jumbo' thing, I found it a little cringeworthy. I have never been a fan of naming a private appendage but hey, that's just me! ;)

Overall this is a gripping read with a sexy edge and a strong message. Those Jetson boys may know how to party, but they also know how to care and work as a unit and I loved their connection. I hope we see more of these boys in Katy's book that's coming next.

A great read!

I received an copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion…….

Jett Matthews is a rockstar and so amazing. He is everything you could want in a man. Hawt, sexy, sweet and alpha protective. Jett didn't have the best life growing up but made the most of it and made something of himself. He cares and loves with his whole heart but everything cuts deeply also. He would do anything for those he loves and has. Some of the things that come out of his mouth will make you melt.....

“I’m reminding myself what a lucky bastard I am, having someone this beautiful in my life. As I tell you time and time again, baby, you are in-fucking-credible.”
~Jett

Dolly Winters is very young. She has had to grow up some because she became a mom at 18 but she has also been very sheltered thanks to her parents never ending support. She is a sweet, shy, beautiful, and amazing mother. She also feels everything and is quick to jump the gun. She reacts very quickly and storms off without hearing anything. One thing I can say is that she loves Jett.

“I think… that you sound incredible. You clearly love what you do. I saw it every second you were on stage. To me, you are breath-taking anyway, but when you’re up there on that stage, you are simply mind numbingly, excruciatingly intoxicating.”

This was a really great story that I loved. I have not read the first book yet but I will be doing so. I also can't wait for the next book to catch up with everyone. Thank you Miss Ellis for a great book!!!

3.5-4 stars from me. I most of the time really enjoyed this story. I loved the main characters Jett and Dolly and the secondary characters too and if I could tweak a few things then this would be a five star rating from me. I thought the story was original, i.e. that a rock star falls in love with a young single Mum and I loved how this worked in the book and the challenges that this brought into their relationship. It was the nicknames that I couldn't get my head around (and I know that the characters are only young) but I felt they were overused in the book and I know it is fiction but one scene I felt was a bit too far fetched. It may just be me that didn't appreciate that side of the book, and I honestly would recommend the book for others to read but even though I didn't want to put my kindle down especially when live throws a curve ball at the couple, I can't get passed the nicknames. Sorry!

Another storming book from this Author - to be honest I won this book, the first and third books in the Entwined in the vine series in a raffle at TTB earlier in the year. I am so glad I decided to read the first one because although the characters don't seem to have many bad flaws other than a prepencity for over dramatizing events!!! Sometimes you want to shake them but if it makes you feel like that the author must be doing something right... Dolly in this book is no different but a lovely personality on the whole. Loved this book again and literally read it in two sittings. Am ready for the third in the series now and have already started it. Keep em comin! Recommended!

Jetson is the second book in the Entwined in the Vine series, although it can be read as a stand alone - There’s a group of Brit guys in a band living the dream, where dreams come true (for them anyway)- there are girls, parties and well, anything they could want to be fair! When they get home from acing the US tour, the UK fanbase has exploded!
We get to meet Jet, the leader of the band, who is hotter than hot. Quite early on we get to see a different side to Jet than you would expect from a highly lusted after rockstar, when he bumps into Dolly and her son Rafe (so freakin cute) at the skate park. Straight away we see a chemistry between Jet and Dolly which leaves the reader eager to see where it could lead. The plus side for Jet is that Dolly has no idea that Jet’s a famous rockstar, so he knows she likes him for him, not for his fame, money or status,
Things move at lightening speed for Jet and Dolly and with her having Rafe to consider in any of her decisions where Jet’s concerned, things get pretty complicated for them pretty quickly. Just when you think they will overcome everything and stand strong together another plot twist is thrown in keeping the reader on the edge of their seat. The humour injected into the story at times actually had me giggling away to myself. There was enough angst and build up that as a reader you find yourself flicking through the pages to find out how things are dealt with between the main couple. So many swoony moments from Jet too.
Overall I really enjoyed the story, I think the only niggle for me were their nicknames for each other- but who am i to judge?
I definitely recommend this book with 4 rocking stars <3

COVER LUST= Me, sitting in my comfy chair with my kindle in hands, staring longingly at this gorgeous sight in front of me, for at least 20 minutes! YEP! So that happened! It's so damn beautiful!
C. A. Ellis stole my heart with book 1 in this series. I adored Lizzy and that sexy son of a gun Lucas Castle something fierce, but I needed Jett's story for two reasons.... 1: ROCK GOD 2: BRITISH BOY! Hell to the bloody yes! And I loved every written word!
Jett Matthews is the lead singer of Rock Band "Jetson"! Him and his boys are finally hitting the BIG TIME, living their dreams, and loving every minute!
On a break back in London, Jett takes time out to enjoy one of his past times, Skateboarding! Which is where he meets the beautiful ray of sunshine, Dolly.....and her son! Dolly is a proud single mother, who lives with her parents and is so cute, with a beautiful boho style. On a chance encounter at the skate park early one morning, Dolly and Jett cross paths and the chemistry builds from then and throughout the rest of this book. Carol's writing had me enchanted from start to finish. The characters come across real life struggles, the hot scenes were SMOKING and there was a lot of angst and also some emotion too. I felt something special for each of the characters, and was absolutely routing for Jett, Dolly and her lovely son Rafe!
This book had feels, it had passion, it had humour and in the word of Jett himself it was just IN-F*****G-CREDIBLE!
Congratulations Carol on delivering an outstanding second book! You rock my socks!

Though this is book 2 in the series it can be read as a stand-alone story. I preferred this book to book 1, and i give this book 4.5 stars. Jett and his band are living the dream but when he runs into Dolly someone who does not realize who he is in the celebrity world he likes the relationship that begins to develop.Their relationship is different and cautious because of little Rafe. There is great banter and conversation and the invasion into their own personal happiness that is growing makes the story take a different turn. You begin to worry for these characters and it kept me reading late into the sunday afternoon. You can see how the author has grown in her writing from book 1 and i am interested to see how she will continue to develop her style.

I truly love these characters, Jett and Dolly <3 I get cross with them at times, sure, but I love them all the same. Even the secondary characters have been made an integral part of the book, Rafe, Sonny, Jude and Ace, even Dolly's mum and dad. I love the romance, I love the hot sex, I love that my heart breaks at times and I love that through all this I can have those laugh out loud moments that we all enjoy. I hope you enjoy Jetson and would love to hear you thoughts:o)
