Typical of Krozer’s work, in The Gift, he crafts a compelling drama on several levels. At the top level, this is an Indiana Jones type adventure…a search for the gift. Our adventurers need to figure out what the gift really is and if it is really a gift or a curse to humanity. And then what to do next. This alone is intriguing. On another level, the story is packed with insight into the astral realm and how the energy plane impacts our lives in the physical world whether we realize it or not. There are many aspects to divine inspiration if “divine” is broadly interpreted. Krozer also provides a study/work guide of sorts for the intrepid reader to participate in, exploring their own life along with the exercises the professor assigns to his students. Besides being an enjoyable read with well-developed characters, this is the take away gift from the book available to anyone who wants to put in the work.

My oh my! In a way, I wish I was Aleah and had her amazing life of purpose. Gives me chills. But the dangers she faces come from our world as well as the spirit world. Both could kill her. Her journey is what life is intended to be. I’ve read about the astral world that’s inhabited by both good and evil energy entities, and even dabbled there myself until it freaked me out. I didn’t have a powerful guide and protector like she has. The story is very cool with interesting characters all interacting with limited knowledge, which is fun. The author hints at a book 2 and provides the first chapter picking up without a beat from the conclusion of book 1. Can’t wait to read what happens to my fav character, her love life, and to the world. Hopefully, I won’t have to wait too long or need to be reincarnated to find out.

The Gift is a gift to readers seeking to expand their earthly thinking. The author takes us along with Aleah whose astral awakening leads her on increasingly vivid experiences in realms beyond our physical world. Each astral journey takes her and the reader further and further from reality. An intriguing book for the thoughtful life explorer.

Wow. What a trip this book was! It’s definitely not my normal genre, but I enjoyed how thought provoking it was. The way it all seamlessly came together at the very end was chefs kiss!
