What struck me today the most was how much I've missed this series. Beginning to read the book was like coming back home ☺️ I also noticed how different other people's reviews of this whole series are compared to mine. Lol 😂
No, I don't have any hang-ups about how I write my reviews because I write them from the heart, my feelings and emotions. And while this series is a sci-fi story, my dear friends, every woman and every amateur like me simply has to love it.
That's why you won't find any technical terms from the sci-fi-nerdy world here 😉 I've always loved science fiction movies, but not books because they were simply too difficult to read. Anna's books are for everyone. Everyone will find something they like in them. Yes, I'm sure of it 😏
Believe it or not, she even includes a romance, and not just one, but several, in the story. And the characters are incredible. Interesting, funny, sarcastic, and endearing... Gosh! I love them all.
I mean, I even love the unemotional cyborgs, mimics, and machines in the story. And the dog! 😍
I love how the author plays with the roles of the characters. You don't know whether you should love them or maybe consider them traitors. The story is so suspenseful and mysterious that I wouldn't be surprised if one of my favorite characters turned out to be an AI, a Mat, or some other kind of AI.
I mean, in the future, mimics will look and act like humans. No difference. No signs telling you you're talking to an AI 🤯
After the 5th book, anything is still possible, it seems. Yeah, I'm totally hyped up after this book. I read it in one sitting, and then I had to go to work early the next day. Not my only late-night read, but definitely one that was very exciting, incredibly gripping, and full of secrets and mysterious events.
The author probably wants me to throw my Kindle against the wall after every book and after every cliffhanger 🤨🤯
For those who don't want to read my rant/review, here's a short version: I love this exciting, dark, post-apocalyptic sci-fi-thriller.
I want it made into a movie so that people who can't or don't want to read, can enjoy it too.
So, now you know 😂 Read it!
And Anna, when is book #6 coming out? Tomorrow? Hmmm? 🤨🤯😂
The pieces being to fall into place, morals are questioned and of course we see a little bit more each time that we explore further and deeper into space. This opens a few doors ,although the action is more restrained that some of the previous books book 6 is beginning to sound like .....
What an entertaining book, worth the wait what a twister, this series gets better with every book, ends with a cliffhanger, which was a little cruel regarding the ongoing story.
