This was a wild book for sure. The suspense I felt while reading held my attention the entire time. I loved the tension, love, pain, betrayal. All of these things made this book so with it and kept me on my toes all throughout it and it kept me wondering who was guilty. The surprise bad guy was definitely a good one and I’m glad it ended the way it did.

This is not a love dovey Valentine’s Day story, it’s full of twists, horror, spice, and love.
Eliza is a professor at the local college. She has a sarcastic personality and cracks me up. When several murders begin to happen around campus and it closes she takes home an awkward student that is stranded.
Lorenzo and Jonah work with the local police and fire station. Both of them are attracted to Eliza and find a pull with her. But neither of them want to admit they may want more. They are busy trying to solve these murders that keep happening around campus.
The connection the three of them have is strong and spicy! They all feel something with one another and it may not be conventional, but they can make it work for them.
A horror book filled with spice and so good! Could not put it down and wanted to know what was going to happen next in the murders and the love triangle.

This was straight up 5 ⭐️ with 4🌶️ book. I love the murder mystery part of book . Loved the plot and character build up ! Very good job Amity Grey . This was actually your first non vampire / paranormal/ zombie book I’ve read of your and I very much enjoyed it !

I truly believe this is Amitys best work! I am part of Amitys street/ARC team (so grateful for this btw) and I honestly would say this has been my favourite book of hers so far!! This book was fast-paced, short and wildly entertaining. She never misses with these books and I love that they're so easy to read! Congrats on another amazing book 👏
Eliza finds herself a part of a cliché "speed dating" contest as part of a charity event that ends in a wild night of passion with lorenzo. Later she finds herself having a one night stand with Jonah and this girl is loving her life with these two hot men at her beck and call. Little does she know, these men are friends 🤭 *cheeky* now this plot was enough to keep me entertained anyways, but add in the subplot of a maniacal series killer on the loose, I was hooked! I loved the dynamic of the characters and I loved that this ended up as a why choose/Poly situation as I loved both of the mmcs. I totally didn't guess the killer the whole time so that twist got me (I'm usually good at guessing the plot twists) the ending tied everything up really nicely and I'm pleased the characters got their happily ever after 💓

This book? Absolute fire—and I mean that in every sense of the word. I’ve never read anything quite like this, and wow, was it a thrilling ride! Murder, serial killers, stalking, depravity, two smoking hot male leads, and more spice than a summer romance? Yes, please.
Now, let’s get one thing straight: I don’t usually vibe with the love triangle trope. Nope, not my thing. But this book? It makes me want to reconsider my stance. The suspense and tension between the characters were so electric that the love triangle just… worked. And honestly? I’m not mad about it.
Lorenzo and Jonah? Swoon—they both exude that alpha male energy that leaves you breathless. The kind of men who could totally break you, but you’d let them. Their bad boy charm just did things! Eliza? Girl, you’re living the dream. You had a front-row seat to that show, and you were absolutely making the best of it.
A why choose situation at its finest, and I was here for every single second.
But let’s not forget the spice. Oh, the spice. This book took it to an entirely different level. I found myself clutching my e-reader like it might spontaneously combust. Whew!
Now, there are some sensitive topics in this book, so make sure you read the triggers. It definitely dives into dark territory, but I wasn’t prepared for how the murder mystery element added layers of depth to the story. The twists and turns? I couldn’t get enough.
Amity Grey, you’ve done it again. I’ve read a few of your books, but this one hit different. My heart was racing, my nails were bitten down to stubs, and my cheeks were flushed from all that heat.

With this book, there's a serial killer in Hex, and you follow the main characters investigating said murders while also getting your fix of some why choose action with a sprinkle of murder mystery too. The men are swoon worthy!
The flowers, the action, the suspense! I did guess who the killer was pretty early, but I was still surprised with how things unraveled and ended. Thanks for another awesome book experience, Amity!

Velentine's & Butterflies took me by surprise. Mostly because I don't read the blurbs for Amity Grey her books anymore, I already know I will read and love it.
Let's start with the cover. It's so beautiful and sweet till you realise what the red blobs are, and then you start reading. And like always, Amity had me from the first page, and like the artist she is, so throws you curveballs from the first page. Every time I think I know what will happen, bam, curveball. But that's exactly what I love from this author.
Then the story, I love the fact that for a relative short story, there is a lot of depth to the characters. The romance in this book made me fan my face(a lot) and I loved every second of it.
So, if you want a relatively quick read, with a plot that gives you whiplash in the best way possible. With lots of love and spịce, tension and mystery. Then, this book is definitely a recommendation🩷

I went in reading this book blind. OH MY!!! This has been the BEST book I’ve read this year by far. Eliza sure had her hands FULL the entire time. If not with a friend, it’s students or with the two drop dead handsome men in her life (Lorenzo and Jonah). Well one’s a Firefighter and the other is a Police. Who wouldn’t with two men like this!!! Valentine’s & Butterflies has everything a reader could ask for in one book. You’ll find yourself reading a book with suspense, thrills, love and more action than you could imagine! Oh and did I mention SPICE??? Most definitely 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5!!! It’s a fast read because you get caught up in the suspense and can’t put it down. Everybody wants to know who’s murdering these beautiful women? It will surprise you who’s the murderer with all the twist and turns. I will be rereading this one for sure❣️❣️❣️

elizas a total icon 🔥 she thought she was gonna be walking into a perfect cutesy romance but instead, she got tangled up in one of the most gripping, heart racinggg thrillers I’ve ever read. stalking, secrets, and a love triangle that had me SCREAMING and kinda dying in an amazing freaking way. lorenzo and jonah… one’s a firefighter, one’s a cop, and BOTH are the definition of book boyfriend material gimmeeeee plz💀💋
the twists were sooooo good. the tension was just as amaze. this book DELIVERED.
this is not just a romance tho, it’s a dark, thrilling, seductive masterpiece, legit masterpiece. if you love your books fast paced, addictive, and filled with morally gray men that will ruin your life, this one is for you 💀💘

To say I am Obsessed is an understatement! I've already Raved (and Ranted) to the author about this book! It's my favorite out of all of her books so far!
(Not to say I don't also love all of her other books because I do!)
I mean, Valentines day murder mystery? Yes please!
Also I really love Why Choose Romances! And when I tell you I AM IN LOVE WITH ELIZA JONAH AND ENZO! their Relationship was delicious, delectable, and down right delightful!🫠 the mystery was incredibly well done, i couldnt guess who it was to save my life (might be a me problem 🙃😅) but it was so enjoyable to figure everything out along with these characters! And the romance, THE. ROMANCE. was everything! Perfect, Perfect, Perfect. 10/10 will read again!

Oh my gosh, I couldn't put it down! I loved this book so much! The horror, storyline, and love it created between the characters, especially the plot, don't forget the spice! Oh my gosh, I loved Eliza 😍 she is my spirit animal at some things! Jonah and Enzo, as she calls him, which I love ❤️... this is definitely a mfm also! Please don't judge people kinks! She has a relationship with both guys! Which is good for her! Ma'am I wish I was that amazing to even pull one guy! But you pulled two hotttttt guys for yourself well damn that says a lot for sure!!! Let's just say this book deserves five stars for everything listed above it definitely kept me interested in the book 🥵😍❤️⚠️ and, as always, check your trigger warnings 💋

Oh my! The twist was twisty and I have to say, I was surprised. Without giving anything away, what a neat way to take a turn I didn't see coming. This was one of those books that successfully pulled off the, "no way will the main character get a happy ending," despite knowing it's a romance story. This why choose was incredibly sweet in terms of the relationships, and the camping scene... wow! The build up for the serial killer was insanely well done and had me on the edge of my seat. Amity Grey pulled off the suspense in the best way when it came to the villain. He keeps getting closer and closer, and the anxiety of it all was through the roof! So scary, yet so comforting when it came to the romantic partners.
10/10 would recommend!!!

OMG! The way this book had me at the edge of my seat! The mystery elements and tension was something else!
I mean I love murder mysteries, but combined with a romance and spice, it's even better - add to that it was written by Amity Grey and you get the most interesting, gripping read you can think of!
I am in awe of and in love with the love happening in this story, the absolute devotion and care they show each other - no words could describe it. Ahh and the camping scenes, MAN🥵🥵

Eliza, a college professor signs up for a speed/blind date for charity at the request of her best friend. She wasn't looking for love but the night with Lorenzo was full of passion. Then she ends up with a one night stand Jonah. Just as Eliza is loving her life and enjoying dating both men, she find out they are best friends. Mix a why choose in with a murder mystery & you have yourself a great read !

I absolutely loved the murder mystery aspect of this book! I couldn't put it down because I needed to know the ending! Eliza is a fiercely independent woman who finds herself falling for not one, but two extremely swoony men. I loved the different relationships she had with Lorenzo and Jonah, and honestly I wouldn't be able to choose either. I also really liked how Lorenzo and Jonah were friends, so their was a great relationship already there. The chemistry between the three of them was just hot, and I loved the spicy scenes. This is definitely a fun and suspenseful read!

I absolutely loved this story. The FMC is very relatable and I love her and her sense of humor so much. She also goes through a lot in this book that will have you happy, sad, anxious, mad and absolutely elated. It is such an emotional rollercoaster ride. The two FMCs are the best, they both are different but work so well together and help to create the perfect why choose scenario. I also loved the fact that the one character is a CSI, made my science geeky heart very happy. I laughed, cried and smiled so much throughout this and it may be the first time but it won't be the last time I read this book. The ending was perfection and there was even an unexpected development at the end which I was so happy about. The author manages to hook you and you need to devour the book to know what is going to happen. It is extremely engaging and you create such a strong empathetic link with the characters. There is a lot of suspense and tension that will have you holding your breath with anticipation. There is so much to love about this book but I don't give spoilers in my reviews so I will end it here by saying....I highly recommend reading this book. Another amazing book from this author

I have now come to the conclusion that I will forever love everything I read by this author! This one has hands down been my favorite so far. It's so unique in the sense that you are literally reading a love story unfold, that just happens to be a why choose, while in the midst of a very suspenseful thriller. I loved all the characters and was so happy with how everything turned out. I wouldn't have been mad the least bit if the story was longer. I couldn't get enough of Enzo, Eliza, and Jonah. The plot was so so good and was very entertaining. 10/10 recommend!

Eliza is a college professor she helps out one of her friends who is her coworker with participating in a speed dating event to raise money for the orphanage. Eliza picks a guy they hit it off they end up sleeping together. One day she’s leaving out of her class she bumps into another man and she falls on the floor. They end up going out for coffee I believe could be tea I can’t remember they end up having sex in his car. She finds out the two guys she slept with are best friend.

Super quick read. We follow Eliza who ends up falling for TWO men who are besties, they just want her to be happy, so why choose? She has a stalker & there is a serial killer on the loose. Jonah & Enzo are the perfect men to help protect her while also trying to solve these grisly murders. The suspense is great, the details are exquisite & dare I say this ends up being the sweetest love story, because it really is.

Wow! This was such a cute little story!!!! I think this is probably my favorite short story yet. I loved the dynamic and especially the characters. It really resonated with me since I want to go into crime scene investigations. The book is about this girl who falls in love with two guys and she happens to also be the target of a stalker/serial killer and it was just amazing. 100000/10 read. I may read it again a few times as a little fun read!

I love me a why choose and Valentine’s And Butterflies did not disappoint!! This murder mystery was amazing! It was such a wild ride filled with suspense, action, and spicy time! The author did a great job of capturing your attention and really making you feel the emotions of the characters! I adored the ending!!

I was so excited to see a new book by Amity, and she never disappoints!
Romance, hot sex and horror? It's probably my favorite mix, especially when she's doing it.
I'm so jealous of Eliza because she gets a sexy cop and a sexy firefighter to be sandwiched between. So not jealous of the creepy psychopathic student who stalked her and tried to murder her but still, 2 sexy men?? Yes please!

Amity strikes again with another amazing novel. This MMF dark romance horror thriller satisfied my itch of a delicious why choose story. The suspense! The horror! The spice! Overall a great read.
