Simple Wins: Stories from a Family Man
This book is a collection of short stories from my past. Most of them arise out of my own parenting journey. The book title “Simple Wins” is a nod to the fact that simplicity is a winning strategy in many areas of life. This is especially so when it comes to parenting. It also encompasses the fact that the simple wins or the little victories in life are a gift to be treasured. While we all love big windfalls, it’s our simple wins that bring sustaining joy and help to restore smiles and good cheer.
The short stories in this book are from various stages of my life and they represent who I am and what I regard as important. The purpose of this book is to encourage, inspire and affirm parents, children, siblings and grandparents as you each navigate the complexities, joys and challenges of family life.
