Felix Orbus Galaxy #5

Saved by the Servali

Rate this book
Fall in love with the alien from the galaxy next door…

Nessa’s job as a shuttle tech and inspector is to make sure shuttles are in tip-top shape before they fly out so their occupants arrive alive. So what if scary thugs are guarding a derelict-looking shuttle at the Milky Way Galactic Port? That won’t stop Nessa from completing her inspection. When she finds their hidden cargo—a pair of human women in stasis being sent off-world—Nessa only has seconds to escape before being added to their collection. With the thugs closing in and only seconds to spare, Nessa programs the shuttle with the last coordinates in her inspection log and hopes she’s safer taking her chances with the unknown instead of the danger she’s leaving behind.

Kamau, the Servali chef on the Comet Stalker, prides himself on feeding the crew and passengers the best food the Felix Orbus Galaxy has to offer. Nourishing the new families on board helps him forget that he doesn’t have a Queen or cubs of his own. With an increasing population of humans aboard his craft, he decides it’s time to master their traditional cuisine. But the pod of ingredients he ordered from the Milky Way Galaxy arrives with a chaser—a damaged shuttle with the most beautiful (and the most seriously ill) woman he’s ever seen. Could this be an unlikely gift from the universe? Could Nessa be the Queen he’s been waiting for, the woman he can pamper and adore, nurse back to health, and save from a lifetime of loneliness? If only she weren’t such a brave, heroic Queen, obviously meant for a Tigerite warrior or a Leonid captain. Such a prize could never fall for a scrawny Servali chef—right?

When Nessa awakes, she’s warm, safe, and being pampered like royalty. Her guardian angel has fur, sports an apron, and treats her better than any human ever has. She’s instantly drawn to Kamau and the friendship he offers her. If only he wanted to be more than friends!

Enjoy a standalone friends-to-lovers sci-fi romance from the Felix Orbus Galaxy. A steamy happily ever after awaits!

4&1\2 fabulous🌟's for Saved by the Servali! 🌟🔥💖

I truly love this series each book puts a smile on my face and a little bit of joy in my heart. Nessa is a tech inspector working on the !Holy Way Space station. She's been passed over so many times for A promotion she feels like she'll never get ahead in life. On a routine inspection she finds evidence of shady youths on and just when she's about to report it she's caught. One minute she's doing her job the next she's waking up have dead in a different galaxy being rescued by the most handsome Servali chef in any star system. Kamau, is the best Servali chef and takes pride in taking care of the crew and the human females on his ship. He wants a mate and cubs of his own but knows it may never be possible until the day he rescues a gorgeous human queen. Together they help unravel a mystery of disappearing human females , develop a wonderful friendship that blossoms into love and passion. It wax a wonderful tale filled with excellent characters that had great chemistry. The banter between Kamau and Needs was witty, funny and just a bit naughty! There has always been something so special about Kamau! Throughout the series he has been an absolute staple of the ship and has always been so devoted to the crew and the human Queens. I absolutely looove that he got his own story! And Nessa! That is one strong, fierce human queen and I could not love them together more!! An absolutely great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one!

Kam is the best cinnamon bun ever! He’s attentive and caring. He not only treats her like a queen but calls her one!
Nessa is a strong independent woman. She learns to let go with Kam and be adored without losing that.

“So am I — but my knives are built in!”
He may be a soft and the smallest but he is still primal for her! I loved this scene!

This story had everything I love in a book. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Kamau is just a sweet guy desperate for his own Queen. After a disease wiped out most of the females on his and other planets they could only hope to find a female of their own to make their lives complete.
Nessa works a dead end job where the pay is awful and no hope for any kind of romance in her life. A life changing kidnapping and she meets the hero of her dreams. A male who can cook and treats her well.
The plot takes you away from the real world and romances you in so many ways. The best combination of plot, romance and steamy scenes.
I am a huge foodie so I was hooked on this from the introduction. Saved By The Servali is a standalone and can be read on its own but there are books prior to this with the other Mates couple that appear in this book.

Gleeful Goblin Review: I am so delighted to be back aboard the Cuddly Cat Central ship and especially to be reading about our Servali chef who is so sweet and considerate he'll give you cavities. I absolutely adore how Kamau balanced being the definition of Wholesome Masculinity while also being a bit shy and vulnerable towards Nessa. He has so much love and care to give but has spent a long time thinking he didn't deserve the same in return. Plus, Servali culture seems to lend itself to the males being pretty much all about pleasing their partners: "When a Knight or King is with a Queen, he is allowed to be affectionate. In Servali culture, the King’s Pride is his Queen and cubs. He is nothing without them. It is his goal to have a Queen who adores him,” his lips were pressing her neck now as his paws worked down her arms, kneading her like dough, “and craves him." Sign. Me. UP. Despite being both culturally and personally oriented towards males having their love language be Acts Of Service, Kamau brings plenty of intensity to the proverbial table.

And boy, does Nessa match him on that intensity! She's just gone through this pretty life threatening episode only to find herself temporarily stranded on a ship full of strangers. But right away she notices Kamau; how kind and caring he is really speaks to her and makes HER feel protective of him which I found so darling. Her interactions with Kamau, even really early on are really what let Nessa know that another way of life than the hardscrabble one she's lived so far, is possible. "Foaming fur wash?” he asked, setting her down, his paw hovering over another button. “Um. I don’t have fur.” I probably have a whole lot of bushy-ness going on. Man, why didn’t I shave my legs—or anything else—before going to work that day? Because you didn’t know you’d get suckèd into outer space, Ness. Not like Servali women are hairless. He’s covered in fur. “Layla and Wendy say it’s like the fancy body wash that humans soak in? Bubble bath?” “Oh! Then sign me up!” Nessa chuckled. “I’ll get you a scarf for your hair, and then I’ll show you all the settings,” Kamau promised and trotted off. “Oh! And I’ll get you an outfit for sleeping and one for tomorrow. I’m afraid we had to cut off your uniform—I mean, Skyla did. Not me. But it’s being repaired.” “I’m not fussy—but I don’t like skirts.” “I will return with pants!” Nessa laughed as she watched him dart away, a secret smile on her face as she heard the telltale purr of happiness. Doing things for me makes him happy? D@mn, he wouldn’t survive a day in most parts of the Sapien System. The sharks would eat up a kind soul like him. Why do I want to go back to a place like that?" This couple's love story made me melt like an ice cream cone in a desert and I loved every moment. 5/5 Stars

What a wonderful seried

I binge read the first 5 books in this series and Saved by the Servali is just so perfect... romantic sighing.

This series focuses on a post plague galaxy of Feline or Felix species males who have lost their Queens (females) through this illness. Two survivors, both Lion types, are trying to put their lives and hearts back together after losing their mates. One of them, a doctor, believes he has found a species who are compatible with Felix males to become mates and bear new children, aka cubs. Each book in the series focuses on a different human and felix couple who find their way to each other, love, and babies.

This book, in particular made me laugh enough to snort coffee and tear up and the awkward but adorable courtship of the ship's cook, Servali Felix, and a kidnapped ship inspector Human who find their way to love for each other and justice for human women being trafficked by greedy human men.

Highly recommend this series. i have already preordered the next two books and can hardly wait for them. Treat yourself to some old fashioned but sci fi set romances. Snark and Spice. You can't lose!

Nice job

Wonderful little story with two misplaced but adaptable characters. Neither has much self confidence, but they work very well together. Novel will stand a!one, but probably better reading the series in order since many characters revisited the story line. Throughly enjoyed it though, as I have all of her books so far. Playful and loving.

Another astounding read by S.C. Principal! This cinnamon roll of a male had me panting and drooling after him! If only in real life I could meet someone as sweet! I also wish I was as strong as the fmc!
