Working with acclaimed manga publisher VIZ Media, IDW is pulling together two of the most popular comics in the world to bring you the four-issue comic book event of 2025! Having guarded April O’Neil on her journey home from the Hidden Leaf Village, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Team 7 are ready to relax, pick up some dinner, and call it another successful mission. The bright city lights of Big Apple Village cast dark shadows, though, and when they return to the Turtles’ lair, it’s been ransacked. April and Splinter are gone, and there’s only one person who could be responsible. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi must help save both their missing comrades and April’s sample of mutagenic ooze before it’s too late, or Shredder’s single-minded pursuit of power won’t just threaten one village, but them all.
Can I just straight up go out and say that Big Apple Village is just so bad*ss I mean the skyscrapers, the merger between these two iconic worlds in its style and essence and can we just stop and appreciate the Statue of Liberty holding a kunai and a scroll I mean that’s just straight up sick and combine that with the final tie in of us getting that quintessential ooze show up but with a twist having it being dispersed on foot clan members this time! I just wish this series went far longer than four volumes it has everything to be a serious spinoff and I’d buy up every issue. 4.5/5
The Turtles and Naruto's squad fight together against Shredders mutant foot clan and it the art of them fighting together is great! Also when they went to Big Apple Village loved the analogy of the apple being rotten to the core as the turtles fight robbers and get rewarded pizza and I'm so sad they didn't get to eat it because they had to rescue April and Splinter from Shredder. I love the pairings and honestly it makes sense personality and strengths and even colors lol Sakura with Ralph where Sakura chucks him, Leo with Kakashi, Donatello with Sasuke, and Naruto with Mikey and they have a combo move names and it's all great for fans of Turtles and Naruto alike! Next issue is the finale and it's so sad it's short but it's pretty good so far lol

This issue had highs and lows. I loved Big Apple Village and I like the story. The dialogue during the fight against the mutants was a little cheesy, didn’t feel all that natural coming from these characters. I couldn’t decide if each turtle doing a team up finishing move with a member of the Naruto squad to take out the baddies was cool or cringe. Let’s go with cool, I’ve got a pretty high tolerance for goofiness, especially where the TMNT are involved. Good stuff.
I really enjoyed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Naruto #3! It’s great seeing the Turtles and Team 7 team up to rescue April and Splinter. The action is intense, and the crossover between these two iconic worlds is a blast. If you’re into fun, creative adventures, maybe you should check out https://tocaworldboca.com/toca-boca-a... . You’ll probably like it!
It just keeps getting better and better... I thought it'd suck but I'm loving it. They're not stepping on each other's toes; both ninja teams are complimenting each other's traits and styles. Now I want the TMNT to actually be in Naruto.
I have not had a regular IDW comic book in years, but their paper stock for the cover and story pages is better than that of the Marvel books of this page.
