I liked the first two books and I enjoy the writing. However I was hoping to read more about Alden, Rowan and Aurora plus the pregnancy. Introducing a third man without exploring the first two felt rushed to me.

This is my favorite installment of the series yet! I really wish I could leave modern society and just be a witch in a cottage in the woods… 🌲🧙🏼‍♀️

I adore Aurora. She is unapologetically her and always strives to see the beauty in everyone and everything around her. I love that she is forging her own path and doesn’t let what other people might think dictate her happiness.

Alden and Rowen are so wonderful, and I love their blooming friendship. It was nice to see them both grow and come to terms with things in their past.

Faolin is a complex character, but I enjoyed the addition of him to Aurora’s family. Their family is so real and raw. Emberly does a fantastic job of illustrating the challenges of an expanding family with complicated dynamics, but it can be done!

Selene and Wylan are amazing, and I hope they end up moving to Faunwood in the next book!

Aurora’s complicated relationship with her mother really resonated with me as well. I’ve had similar struggles with my own mother, and it made me so happy for them to find some common ground to hopefully repair things moving forward.

And Harrison always brings the humor!

Overall super cozy, warm-hearted read, and I can’t wait for the series finale!

Thank you to Emberly and Bookfunnel for my eARC copy!

The lighthearted, cozy vibes of the series continue but with the addition of some deeper character work, which I really enjoyed! Some heavier topics, like grief, were addressed but the book never felt too heavy or lost its easygoing charm.

Lots of POVs and different characters but unfortunately the POVs didn’t really feel distinct from each other. If I paused reading mid-chapter I often had to go back to remember which POV I was reading because they all felt the same.

I feel like this could’ve easily wrapped the series. There’s one or two loose threads that I know will be addressed in the last book, but I felt a lot of closure with this one. I’ll continue the series to read the final book, but will probably put it off a month or so since it’s a winter / Yule book. 🤍

In typical Emberley fashion, this was totally cozy, whimsical with the pops of humour we have grown to expect from Harrison and the charming relationship growing between Alden, Rowan and Aurora.

I have to admit, I did think I’d love this one as much as the other two but I found the relationship for a good part of book felt a little bit forced, and not wholly natural in comparison to the first 2 books of the series but a lot of this cleared up in the second half.

I related a lot to the relationship with her mother in this one, and the makeup in that was a great thing to see and felt a little healing for me which was really nice.

All in all a great third instalment to this world, and I can’t wait for the 4th and final book!

Thank you to BookSirens for the review copy of this book!

This series has been such a comfort through the winter months!

The author has continued to deliver on the cozy cottage core ambiance.

In this installment I felt like we got a little deeper into the character's backgrounds and personalities which made them feel a bit more solid.

I've really enjoyed Alden's character arc especially since he went from being such a grump to an easy going guy with a sense of humor.

There was some tension between two of the male characters and I was wondering if that was going to lead somewhere other than it being strictly a "why choose?" situation.

Very excited to see what happens next in the series!

The Witch’s Shifter brings new magic, new challenges, and an injured wolf claiming his fated mate—even though she’s already with two others. Cozy cottagecore vibes, autumnal rituals, and love that keeps growing despite unexpected complications make this one a warm and spicy read.

Aurora studied at the Coven Crest Academy and knows things. When her friend Harrison smells something he tells her to run. But she looks and sees a wolf who falls and shifts into a human. She sends Harrison for Alden and Rowan. When they arrive they are shocked. But Aurora tells him he's unconscious and hurt. They get him back to the hut. Rowan will protect her and their baby. He keeps a close eye on the shifter.
The Wolf or Faolan wakes slightly and smells her. Then he blacks out again. While Rowan is watching him the wolf wakes and wants Aurora. When asked why he tells them she's his mate. She sends Alden to find him clothes. Then they eat. Aurora checks his bandages and asks him questions about why he thinks she's his mate. She didn't think a witch and a shifter could be together. Then Faolan thinks and puts two and two together. He asks her if she's mated to the three men. Rowan tells him she's more than that..when he sees she's with child he shifts howls mournfully and jumps through a window. Rowan knows it's his fault Faolan left. So now he's going to go find him for Aurora. He finds him and gets him back home. Now Aurora is helping heal his wounds and they talk. He explains why he's there and that he is an outcast by his twin who is alpha of their pack. He cannot go back even when she rejects him. Aurora asks him why he thinks she would..he figures with two others it will happen.
Meanwhile in town to get a window he meets up with his ex fiance and she asks him to dinner. There he talks about why he was buying yarn. Then she explains when she saw him she remembered them together. But he is happy with his situation with Aurora and Alden and Rowan. Meanwhile back home Aurora is getting to know Faolan. She also has to take Harrison's feelings into account. He is her best friend and she knows how he feels with more than one or two humans. So she reminds him that he will always be her best friend. Eventually her men return. Now all her men in one place and the low growling and grumbling shows there's a bit more work to be done between the men.
Poor Aurora is torn. She needs all her men to be able to accept each other. Then her mother and sister come to visit for Samhain. She has a confrontation with her mother. She gets so upset with her mother that after giving her a few truths she leaves and Faolan takes her someplace safe and quiet.
Will her men be able to accept each other? Will Aurora be able to trust her mother?
A beautiful story that streses family and the stress that comes with family.

In the first book, we meet Alden, a grumpy carpenter who's learned to close off his heart at one point in his life because of the painful way a woman he loved left him. Meeting Aurora changed all that, and by the end of the first book he and Aurora were madly in love

In the second book, Aurora meets Rowan, a King's guard, and one fateful festival night makes Aurora realize that she can love two men with equal depth and passion. The two men realize, too, that it is possible to love the same woman and yet not feel any competition with each other for her love and affection. By the end of that book, Aurora's nontraditional family is growing with a babe on the way.

In this third installment of the series, we find that Aurora yet has room for another man in her life - a wolf shifter - and she discovers that she is his fated Mate. As soon as she meets Faolan, she feels the undeniable draw to him, and her heart does not hesitate to accept him. But how does Faolan's entry into her life affect the dynamics of her relationship with Alden and Rowan? How will they react to having Faolan join their family? And can Faolan accept that his fated Mate already belongs to two other men?

Getting the answers to all these questions made me finish the book in one day. I definitely devoured it, was enraptured with it, and was swept away. Ms. Wyndham has masterfully created a story about a woman loving three men in such a beautiful way because she focused precisely on that love: on its pureness, on its capacity to fill the missing pieces of one's soul, and its ability to make one choose to be a better person. I loved how Aurora demonstrated unequivocally her devotion to Alden, Rowan, and Faolan, and how they in turn showed their uncontested commitment to her in spite of their unconventional set up. Of course Faolan had to go through the process of deciding whether his mate bond with Aurora was worth pursuing despite her prevailing union with Alden and Rowan. He had to go through confusion, anger, and bewilderment at the reality that he had to share his fated Mate with other men - until finally conscious and willful acceptance of that same reality. To me, the message is clear: when we love someone, that is a choice we willfully make, and that includes wholly accepting the person we love, no matter their inclinations.

The Witch's Shifter is book three in the Season of the Witch series by Emberly Wyndham. If you are looking for cozy small-town fantasy romances, add these books to your TBR!

Aurora Silvermoon, an earth witch, is living her best life in her little cottage with her cat, Harrison, and two men she loves very much. She is in the forest foraging for mushrooms when she comes across an injured shifter who claims to be her mate. Samhain is quickly approaching, which means her family will arrive shortly, and she will be able to commune with her late aunt. But what will her family think of her three men and a baby on the way?

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I adored this book and have to admit that the ending had me tearing up a bit when Aurora and Harrison had to say goodbye to their family.

I love each of the characters in this story. Aurora is caring and strong-willed. When Aurora found Faolan and realized he was injured, she knew she needed to care for him, regardless of what Alden and Rowan thought, because it was the right thing to do. Although Alden and Rowan were conflicted about bringing a shapeshifter into their home, they knew they couldn't change Aurora's mind. Alden is so relaxed. He has come a long way from being the grumpy, closed-off town carpenter. Rowan, on the other hand, makes his presence known to Faolan and creates some unnecessary tension between them out of fear for Aurora and their unborn child. Faolan is a lone wolf. He's not so socialized with the human race, but he knows that if he wants to be in Aurora's life, he will have to make an effort, especially with Harrison. Harrison was much more present in this book, which I was so thankful for because I love him so much. He showed a much more sensitive side with Aurora's sister, Selene, which I thought was so heartwarming. It brought tears to my eyes!

After books 1 and 2 in the series, I was eagerly awaiting this book. I love the woods and cottage as they’re so atmospheric and it was great to be back there. Aurora is courageous and likeable and I would like her as a friend. I’m happy for her that she’s pregnant. I’ve never been pregnant but I feel that Emberly Wyndham does a good job of explaining what she feels and experiences because of that.

Harrison always steals the show for me, and together they’re a great team. Since The Twilight Saga series by Stephanie Meyer, I’ve had a fascination with shapeshifters, but haven’t found a book where one is described in such an interesting and visual way as the one here. I really feel like I care about the shapeshifter’s health and wellbeing.

Every book has been enjoyable so far in this series, and I’m excited to find out what will happen in the next one.

Thanks to Emberly Wyndham.

This book series focuses on Eleanor Stoltzfus, an Amish woman and Ethan Abbot, an Englischer. The way Ethan arrives in the town is realistic, as he has car problems. There are real contrasts in store for Ethan, since he's used to being an architect un the city, and the quaint Amish community of Harmony Hill is so different to what he's used to.

I enjoyed the prequel, and how the story develops in A Chance Encounter. I found myself interested in the characters.

I'm glad this is the first book in the series, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the books.

Thanks to Sylvia Price.

Another well written and cozy addition to this series, The Witch’s Shifter maintains the cozy cottage vibes and I love reading about the village of Faunwood as well. Aurora and her men are adjusting to the addition of a third guy, this being wolf shifter Faolan. He is badly injured and she nurses him back to health. He quickly realizes that she is his long awaited mate.

I loved Alden being so chill and the peacemaker between the other two guys. He is awesome. And Rowan is so dashing and gentlemanly. I did not feel like we got to know much about Faolan but did like his instant devotion and admiration of Aurora.

It was so cool to finally meet her sweet wonderful sister Selene and her little family. Was happy that Aurora (and her sister and mother) got to spend time with Aunt Lilith and that there was a heartwarming resolution between her and her mother. That feeling of always felt like a failure in the eyes of someone you love hit home and I could totally understand her relief and sense of peace.

Can’t wait for the next and final book in the series!

Each book in this series seems to get me hooked even more, though this one had me crying a fair amount and for multiple different reasons. Though also it made me feel all fuzzy inside to. It's nice to know Aurora has another man looking out for her, i hope that Faolan will learn to get on with Rowan and Alden even more in the next book. He's made a lot of progress so far and i'm proud that he's trying hard, even if this is completely new to him and the others. Harrison is so adorable as usual, i hope he will get more whispfish in the next book. It was great to meet Aurora's family in this book and the fact her mother finally admitted how she felt, that really was a plot twist all on it's own. I can't wait for the next book and find what trouble all of them will get up to, hopefully more food will be made. Because all the food and tea's mentioned in the stories just sound so tasty

The Witch's Shifter is the 3rd book in the Season of the Witch series and continues the story of Aurora and her settling into life in the house she inherited from her aunt. Aurora is adjusting to having a baby on the way as well as learning to share her love with two men. But when she comes across an injured wolf, she learns the universe is not done with her after the wolf shifts into a human and tells her she is his mate.

Another great cozy witchy read! I love the low angst and how the guys make Aurora their priority in dealing with the issues that come up. The characters showed growth in their relationship with each other as well with themselves. We also got to see Aurora interact with her family as they come to visit for Samhain. Looking forward to more books in the Season of the witch series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this third book in the 'Season of the Witch' series and I really hope to read the final one.

I have read the other two leading up to this and leapt at this third one straight away when I saw it was available. It definitely did not disappoint, a wholesome read with wonderful characters that you feel for and understand. The many characters included are distinct, which helps them not get muddled, it's also nice to read a story from various perspectives, this helps to flesh out the characters also.

This book made me smile and laugh, as well as empathise and feel compassion- making me feel something is what I consider one of the most important things for a book to do.

Much as the men, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Aurora, and Harrison, throughout this series.

A lovely read that I'd recommend.

I'm so glad that I dove back into this series. I was admittedly a little reluctant when, after reading and loving the first novel, I learned it turned into a reverse harem relationship, but I finally pushed myself to pick up the second novel and was thrilled to find just how well it was done. That continues in the third of the series, 'The Witch's Shifter,' with the addition of Faolan, a wolf shifter. He has the biggest issues with coming to terms with the relationships that Aurora, his mate, shares with the other men (including carrying Rowan's child), although Rowan struggles as well due to old hurts. I'm so glad that they were able to eventually all come together again, as well as getting to meet Aurora's family! Such a great novel and I definitely recommend!

Emberly Wyndham has done it again with the 3rd book The Witch’s Shifter. I felt this book had more magic, less spice but it was still the perfect amount, and more of a problem to solve. I’m sad the next book will be the last in this series as I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters yet.

In this book we meet a new character Faolan. He’s a wolf shifter who found his mate in Aurora. The book follows everyone’s feelings to this new character and his relationship with Aurora. We get to meet her sister and mother and meet her sweet deceased aunt. I loved that there was more magic in this book. Overall, still sweet, cozy and one I couldn’t put down. I even shed some tears.

I was fortunate enough to receive and ARC copy of this book and am happy to leave my honest review.

I absolutely adore this series, but this book just didn't hit the same notes for me that the first two did.

All the cottagecore vibes are still there and I absolutely adore it. I also loved having a glimpse into Aurora's family dynamic.

But, Faolan just didn't attract me. I honestly didn't feel any connection between him and Aurora besides the fact that they were mates. Alden will forever be my number one and he deserves the limelight.

I am however VERY excited for the fourth and final installment and will be very sad to say goodbye to this cozy, magical world.

Thank you Booksprout for the ARC.

I adore this series! Thank you to BookSirens and Emberly Wyndham for this free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The Plot:
Aurora Silvermoon continues her story with stumbling upon an injured wolf in the woods. With the help of Rowan and Alden, she brings him back to her house to recover. Only to find that this wolf is a shifter who claims that Aurora is his mate. There's already too many people in the house and a baby on the way, is there room for one more?

My Thoughts:
I'm kind of bummed there's only one more book after this. I am loving this series for a few reasons. I love a good low stress read. The found family trope works so well. We have found family with the chickens and cats...and wolf too. Plus we still have a baby on the way. I'm hoping to see relationship dynamics get defined and more montages of fixing up the cottage and prepping the nursery.
I can't wait to see how it all wraps up!

This is book 3 of the Season of the Witch series by Emberly Wyndham. In this book Aurora is awaiting the birth of her child with Rowan and she meets a wounded wolf shifter. She treats him and finds out she is his mate. This causes some confusing emotions as she is already with two other men and awaiting a baby. To add more stress her mother comes to visit along with her sister and family. She is close to her sister but her mother and her are distant. What will happen at the Samhain festival? Will feelings get in the way of her finding true happiness with her men or will she finally find her mates? I highly recommend this book to all paranormal romance readers.

This whole series has been so joyful to read, Aurora is such a warm and caring person that you can't help falling in love with her!

In this book we not only meet her shifter but also her sister and mother, and I have to say that I was not keen on her mother, at all, she had her reasons for the way she acted towards Aurora but, even knowing those, I can't forgive her for the way she treated her.

But anyway, Faolan-Aurora's shifter, had a very tough time coming to terms with his place in the family but I suppose that was to be expected.

I am looking forward to reading the next book as I wonder where things will go from here.

I usually really enjoy books with witches and werewolves, and most Romantasy. However, while this book was well written, it didn't grab me the way I hoped it would. I know jumped right into book three of a series, but the author did an amazing job of providing me with background knowledge about the characters when I needed it.

I think I might have enjoyed this book more if there was more bonding between Aurora's men. They seem to only tolerate each other for her sake, but a relationship like theirs will only work with attempts at friendship between the other partners.

So I binged this series as quickly as possible, to be able to appreciate The Witches Shifter fully.

Aurora embodies the natural world. She embraces life and nutures it. Her cottage and surroundings are filled with love, history and warmth and when you have that much to give, it only seems fitting to have several men to share it with.

Aurora's new love is an egmatic beast, not used to sharing and he has a whole lot of hurt going on, physically and emotionally.

But between the men, the baby on the way, the chickens, the delicious baked goods, Harrison the cat, oh and a family visit, you just know things will work out.

Lovely gentle series.

This is such a wonderful series so far. I feel like the author did a great job of capturing Faolan's nature as a shifter, and the ways it makes him both different and similar to the others. And I absolutely adored that even though this book dealt with some more difficult topics, it keeps the signature cozy warmth from the first two books. And of course, the spice. If you enjoy cozy witch reverse harem/ why choose stories, I highly recommend The Witch's Shifter. I do recommend starting at the beginning of the series to get the most out of it.

When you're writing a cozy romance novel set in a magical world, and your FMC has two love interests already, what do you do to shake things up a little bit? Right, add a broody shifter, and what do you know? I happen to love broody shifters.

The addition of a third male, Faolan, in this story really made me even more sure that Alden is actually an angel. I love him so much.

I really like how everything just seems to morph together to make everyone fit in Aurora's cozy home and life. These books are just perfect for a rainy afternoon, which we'll soon be getting more of.

Harrison is a great character as always, even though he and Faolan seem like cat and dog, even so, since Sabrina the Teenage Witch cheeky cat familiars are my favorite, Salem, I'm looking at you.

Getting to know more family members and people living in Aurora's world makes this world more interesting and seem bigger than just their little town and adds to the depth of this world and the characters. I am looking forward to devour the next book as well.

Aurora has already found her mates Alden and Rowan. Both men are loved by her and could not be more different. Alden brings home some things that he bartered with Marigold and Whisper, two more hens. Aurora is excited that Samhain ritual that she is performing while she is pregnant. She is constantly finding and fixing things, animals and humans. When she crosses path of a broken wolf, he ends up being her mate also. Faolan does not like to share, but he will have to if he is going to be apart of Aurora's life.

🌶🌶

Another amazing book in the series! I loved the relationship between Aurora, Alden, and Rowan. They held firm and were so caring throughout the book. The addition of Faolan made the book interesting, seeing the efforts that they all go through to take care of and promote happiness is amazing. Harrison was also adorable as always, his role in the end was just plain cute.

Thank you BookSiren and Emberly Wyndham for giving me the opportunity to read this series! I'm happy waiting the for fourth book!💕

The Witch's Shifter Book 3 in the Season of the Witch by Emberly Wyndham is a really good addition to the series. The story pulled me back into this wonderful world yet again. The throuple is going strong but now Faolan comes along and turns out he's another fated mate, which kind of felt a bit forced. It was nice to finally meet the family Aurora has been talking about in the previous books. I look forward to seeing how this all plays out and of course meet the baby!!

The third installment of Aurora's story is so much better than the preceding two parts. There's some drama, there's a little friction, there's a great deal of character development and some steamy, steamy 🌶️ scenes.

Sure, there's the usual sullen-shifter-falls-for-the-sunshine-FMC stuff, but the bond between Aurora and Selene was the best part of this one for me.

The story is much more intriguing than the previous two, and just as cozy. The pacing is pretty nice, too and makes for a quick, easy read.

Voluntarily reviewed after reading an ARC of the book from Booksirens.

A nice fast-paced read. Warm and cozy with a tiny bit of family drama.

I was SO excited to read this book after adoring the second book in the series. It was a huge let down. Adding in a fourth POV before even progressing the relationships between Aurora, Alden and Rowan seemed unnecessary and lacked fluidity from the first two books. Especially when things between the three needed to be sorted out.

However. I did really enjoy diving deeper into Aurora's family background.
