This book was a bit of a surprise, it's been sitting on my kindle for a while now and I finally thought I'd give it a go, it's only 122 pages but it felt longer and while this is a first in series there's no cliffhanger this is a full story which is nice for a change.
Valerie is a new vampire but she's already a member of the elite force who hunt and take down renegades, she's an interesting character, being new means she needs blood more often and she needs to manage that a bit better, she's a bit quirky and makes no apologies for who she is.
A renegade is kidnapping children and Valerie's assigned to the case and given a partner, a human hunter called Adam.
This was an interesting read, we discover why Valerie ended up as a vampire and get a glimpse into her life, I had questions which weren't answered but then this is the first in this series so I'm sure I'll find out the answers before too long.

I was hooked from the first sentence. I absolutely loved reading this book; I didn't want to put it down. I was a little sad when I finished Hunter's Fall. This is a must read.

A nice way to fall!

I was intrigued and curious regarding the trust of a vampire and a hunter. It seemed to be love at first sight but so much more. I loved the storyline and the characters. Can't wait to read the next installment! Well written
