Anna doesn't want to share cookies with her friend, Justin. Her mother sort of forces her to share until Justin leaves. She "practices" sharing with her stuffed animals, but in the end still gets to have all the cookies herself. Not a great overall message or story.

Oddly, this book made a case to NOT really share, unless it's with your dolls and you can take the stuff back when you want.
