I don’t even know where to start with this one, lol. Just SO fracking good. I really enjoyed the first book, but Dark Delights was totally next level for me - it definitely went in my Faves of 2024 and will probably be one of my favorite books this year. It had so many things I love from the kinks to the micro tropes, I finally had to put it down after staying up way later than I should at my age, lol 🙈, only to finish it off immediately the next day. The rich, tortured lead whose backstory will make you cry. Seriously got choked up. Beck suffered through the worst kinds of grief and trauma and unfortunately for Eve, she saw him at his lowest, and he decides to make her pay for his perceived vulnerability. I absolutely loved Eve. She was strong and did what was right, even when it was hard. She had a fighting spirit, doesn't let anyone push her around, and never backs down. The chemistry between the two of them is OFF 👏🏼 THE 👏🏼 CHAIN. The best kind of good girl/bad boy vibes ❤️. lt was well written with tons of action and a dash of suspense that completely had me hooked to the end. Some of the boxes it ticked:

Dark Delights is a standalone in the Hellions of Hade Harbor series, but is best enjoyed when read in series order. Loved seeing characters from the previous books as well as from other series ❤️. Can’t wait for Asher and Winter’s story in Twisted Deeds, but it’s going to be really hard to beat this one!

When tragedy brings Beckett Anderson and Eve Martino together, it feels as though they can eclipse the constraints thrust upon them. Unfortunately, things aren’t so simple.

There were far more twists for Beck and Eve than I was expecting. And holy emotions! Beck had such a troubled history and together, they had so much to overcome. I loved seeing them get their HEA.

Well, like the first book, this was going sooo well up until the conflict at 80% mark, thanks to Beckett's overreaction.

I've seen similarities between books 1 and 2. The story flow, banter, bullying, and chemistry were engaging at first; I was hooked, and I'm here for all of it. Then a misunderstanding will happen that'll trigger the MMC to react harshly and impulsively without even listening to the FMC's side of the story. Both of the Hs in this series used the insecurities of the hs to hurt them—insecurities that mind you were told in utter trust. And then days or weeks will pass for the Hs to stew, eventually realizing how they messed up pretty badly. Then someone will kidnap the h, and the H will sweep in like a knight in shining armor. Of course, after successfully saving the h, she'll forgive him right away, and immediately forgetting how he made her feel like crap, and finally HEA.

Another common thing is that the FMCs in the two books have the same fantasy of being held down and taken "against" their will.

I wouldn't say this story is exactly the same, but the events that happened here show some similarity. However, with this one, the MCs have known one another since they were 13 and have been "enemies" since then. But Beckett couldn't hurt Eve because her brother is his best friend. But since the brother went away for some time and asked Beck to take care of Eve, he now finally gets the chance to play with her.

I would even say this has the enemies with benefits trope, and they hate f*ck a lot in the story. This is definitely spicier than the first book, and the steamy scenes were too much for my liking. I think this would've been 100 pages shorter if some of those scenes were cut. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, this was okay, I guess. I had fun with it for a huge part of the story. However, the last 20% ruined it, at least to me. It got me fuming, and it took me awhile to calm down. But it's still HEA, so there's that. 🤷‍♀️

4 jealous-girl and lonely-boy stars

Oh… the angst 😅.

The book starts off when both Eve and Beckett are 13 years old. We start to see their dynamic develop; she’s the housekeeper’s daughter and he’s the rich boy whose mother died not too long ago. They don’t have the best relationship; she feels he acts like an entitled little boy and when she tries to help him, he brushes her away. He’s going through a lot emotionally because of what happened with his mom and now his dad is marrying an evil, wicked woman 😑.

Unfortunately, soon after he turns 13, his stepmom and others abuse him, in a sexual way ☹️. When he’s older and able to fight back, he shows his father video footage of what his stepmom allows to happen, and instead of his father taking his side, he thinks Beckett should be proud of what he’s been able to do 🥴. This all affects his mental health, forcing him to turn to drugs to numb the pain ☹️.

In the meantime, Eve’s going through her own struggles. Besides the financial difficulties she and her family go through, she’s trying to find a way to fit in at school. She needs all the scholarships and help she can get, including working jobs that aren’t the best.

Beckett starts hating Eve more when his dad and coach find out that he’s been using drugs 😬. You see. She found the drugs in his room, and she gave them to her mom, who in turn gave them to his dad 😬. Because she doesn’t want to get her mom in trouble, Eve takes the blame 😬.

When both Beckett and Eve are 18 and attending college (and after they’ve 🔥), Eve needs a place to stay. She goes to the housing department and is informed that there’s been a mixup with her registration 😬; however, for some reason, her brother Ash is still registered to live where the hockey players are living 😅 (he got a scholarship to play somewhere else). Since Eve needs a place to stay, she decides that she’s gonna sneak in there and take his spot 😬.

Too bad Beckett isn’t having it 😬. He’s going to make it hard for her and will only allow her to live there if she follows his rules 😅.

They both agree they need to stay away from each other since they don’t get alone 😅.

—the tension 👀. Talk about a thin line between love and hate… or hate and sex 🤣🥵

—the 🔥. Uffff… this is steamy and tension-filled 👀. It all starts at about 20% and continues into the bonus scenes (on Mila Kane’s website). These two might not “like” each other, but the chemistry is undeniable 😉. Beckett makes sure that Eve 💦 as many times as possible, and his favorite spot is inside of her 🥵 in all ways 🫠

The Jersey, the Guess Who kissing game, the other guys that want her… all of it is perfection 😉, I especially loved when one of his teammates does it on purpose just to get a rise out of him 🤣

—OM gets his a** kicked 🤷🏻‍♀️. Don’t be doing Eve dirty 💅

—the angst ☹️. Ugh. Poor Beckett. Ever since his stepmom raped him when he was barely a teenager, he’s been suffering with mental health issues, not to mention what he was already feeling because of his mom’s death ☹️. Not having his dad take his side or be in his corner made it all worse 😐. I definitely felt for him 🫶

—poverty versus being unloved ☹️. Both these characters have their tragic backgrounds… it’s hard to compare them, but these two have struggled most of their lives because of this. When they come together, they realize their broken pieces can only be glued by each other 🫶❤️. I loved this 😭

—Cayden and Lily ❤️. I luuurved seeing them, especially because Cayden is STILL so jp 🤣👀

—how protective Beckett is 🫶. Not only is he willing to get injured for her, but he’ll do anything to make sure that she’s safe 😭🥹❤️ and then he’ll clean her up

—consoling him during his dark times 🫶

—his last firsts ❤️ her only firsts ❤️. Although they’re not the same, it’s the first time Beckett gets to choose who he’s with ☹️

—how he grovels 👀. While I wanted more of this, I loooved his efforts 🤣 like walking behind the bus she takes when she refuses to ride with him 🤡 or walking with her to make sure she’s safe 💀

—the Cinderella reference 👀. Yes, she cleans, but this also comes in to play to help Beckett find her (her sneaker) 👏🏻

What I didn’t like/wanted more of: SPOILERS
—a longer grovel 😒. I’m a grovel girl 😅. I love it when the hero is put through the grinder when he’s done the heroine wrong, and here, I wanted Eve to make Beckett suffer more 🤣. Sure, he saves her, but so what 😑😒 bahahahaha jk (but am I 😅🤣🤣). I needed some bloody knees 💁🏻‍♀️

—more of a comeuppance for some of the characters. I wouldn’t have minded if some of the characters had suffered a little bit more 💁🏻‍♀️ (especially his stepmom 😑). Even his father’s turn around needed more for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

—tying her up overnight 😑. Yeah. I was irritated 😒. Grrrr

Another banger from Mila Kane.

Beckett and Eve are a firestorm of hate and passion. I actually understood where Beckett's bullying is being pulled from. Even if it's irrational, I can see why his pain and embarrassment pushes him to lash out at Eve. Though she is completely innocent and shouldn't be on the receiving end of it... what bully romance is rational?

Beckett has survived some horrible things and at the beginning he is coping in awful, destructive ways. He may live in a mansion and have access to the finer things in life... but that mansion is hell to him. Eve is the twin sister of one of his friends and also is the daughter of the cleaning lady for his family. So when she sees and finds some things she shouldn't... she gets on his bad side HARD.

Ramp that animosity up to eleven when they end up as...roommates? I'm not kidding. Just wait til you read it. Of course the tension is going to boil over and it's going to leave wreckage in their wake.

The only detraction for me was a very bizarre 3rd act... I was kinda thrown by the direction it took and not in a good way.

Hade Harbor continues to have dark secrets and the Hellions are all caught up in it. I look forward to the other Hellion's stories.

Bad Intentions was my first Mila Kane book and I have been obsessively making my way through her new and old releases. But this book? This book right here? This turned my obsession into immediate auto buy. I thought I liked Bad Intention, but Dark Delights? The immediate and permanent chokehold that this book had on me should be illegal in at least 40 states.

Shut up, you stupid degenerate,” she fumed at me, moving her hips in subtle circles she seemed to have no idea she was making, fucking herself on my fingers.
“You want to be the only virgin at HHU?”
“Stop. Talking,” she ground out.
“Make me,” I growled against her lips.

Let's talk about tropes for a second.

Enemies to lovers? Check
Rich boy/poor girl? Check
Bully elements? Check

But this book was so much deeper than those tropes and I'll try to explain without giving any details away because you really want to go into it blind.

Beckett and Eve meet as kids when Eve's mom takes a cleaning job in Beckett's family estate. But while Beckett and Eve's twi brother Asher become best friends, the relationship she has with Beck is contentious at best. One night, when they were kids, she overheard something she shouldn't have. She saw the turmoil and pain that Beck hides behind his vicious and untouchable surface. When a mix up in the college dorms leaves no other solution for Eve but to take her brother's room, she lands in the crosshairs of Beck. Roomies with benefits? Yes please. But these two hate each other and the hate lust? OH MY GOD. It was delicious.

I’d grown up with every single luxury in the world, materially, that was. There had never been anything that I couldn’t have. Until Eve. I wanted her surrender.

Now I loved Eve's sassy mouth and inner strength. This is a girl who takes no sh*t and I loved her for it. But Beck? I was obsessed. This poor, tortured boy and his hidden inner scars owned my heart. I loved the way Mila wrote him and how she peeled back his layers to reveal one of the most complex characters. Yes he was a d*ck at times. Yes, I wanted to punch him at times. But I also wanted to hug him and take away all of his pain. This is not a guy who's a d*ck just for the sake of being a d*ck. He's complex, multilayered, and impossible not to fall for. Oh and the dirty mouth on him. *swoon*

You’re the fucking worst,” she muttered and reached out, circling my dick with her hands. That touch felt better than anything had ever felt, including any drug I’d ever taken. “And yet you’re about to gag on my cock and swallow my cum. Open wide, sweetheart,” I instructed her, gripping her jaw and guiding her forward.

But then his inner thoughts were even better.

I enjoyed every sign of her capitulation. Her reluctant fall into lust for a guy she couldn’t stand was half the turn-on. She wanted me against her better judgment, and that made me a king.

This was an addictive read from start to finish with a splash of suspense. I wouldn't call it dark, per se, more like it had dark tones with a grittiness to it that I couldn't get enough of.

I'm so obsessed with this series. And the set up for Asher's book? I need it immediately!

Es el primer libro que leo de la autora y me gustó, es entretenido, pero sobre todo que engancha bastante.

Beckett es el mejor amigo de su hermano y el hijo del hombre que le da trabajo a su mamá como personal de limpieza, son de mundos diferentes, él chico rico y ella la hija de la servidumbre, no pertenece al mundo de él y por si fuera poco la odia.

El verano antes de ir a la universidad sufren un incidente en donde estuvieron a punto de morir que los une pero por malos entendidos vuelven a odiarse más que nunca pero ahora por un error del sistema tienen que compartir habitación y Beck no le hará la vida más fácil.

Los dos me gustaron como protagonistas, tenían bastante tensión sexual acumulada que cuando le daban rienda suelta explotaban, lo que dio a lugar de escenas bastante spicy.
Siempre se sintieron atraídos el uno del otro aunque no se soportaban por lo que no fue tan difícil que los sentimientos de amor se desarrollaran.

Tiene bastante drama y me tenía frustrada que la maldita madrastra de él siempre se salieran con la suya, era una BITCH.

No leí el primer libro por lo que me devolveré para leerlo.

☆5 So darkly delightful that I stayed up all night 💤

🥵 This was ridiculously hot and entertaining. And also sometimes sad and f’d up (poor Beckett 🥺 with the truly evil stepmother). Do check trigger warnings. Even if you’re not usually a fan of the bully romance trope, maybe still give this a shot. It’s just different. There are good reasons for Beck and Eve’s evolving dynamic, and their history from opposite sides of the tracks… 😮‍💨 Then the way they stand up for each other and offer total acceptance. 🙌 I also never had trouble liking the “bully”; don’t get me wrong, he was totally being a meanboy to Eve at times, but nothing cringey or that crossed the line. I bought jnto their love, angst, and tension.🔥 🔥 🔥 If you enjoy a super jealous-possessive, slightly unhinged H, you’ll have fun.

Even though both MCs dealt with some very heavy burdens and frequent drama, parts of the story made me laugh out loud. I liked how the author served up justice here to the villains and gave us fun cameos of Lily and Cayden. My only qualm was that the Cinderella stuff was a bit on the nose. But the way this kept me up all night means it gets 5 stars. 💃🏻 Very intrigued to find out what goes down with Asher and Winter next… 🧨

3.5 Eve and Beckett's story started off strong. But once they hooked up it lost steam. The drama seemed forced and trite. The solutions were obvious but drawn out simply for the plot. It was frustrating to read such obvious ploys to stretch out the story. But I was invested in the characters and needed to read it through to the end. There was so much more potential but it fell short.

Wow that was not at all what I was expecting! I figured a little dark since the first book had that darkness, but this one took it a step further and looooooved it! It took h@te s8x to another level and was spicy AF. And at times both loved and hated, but there was so much to the MMC Beckett, he’s been through a lot- check your triggers because there are instances of childhood trauma, somnophila, attempted r@pe, and just all the crap that you go through in first year of college (no judgements!). It was so interesting, and hockey had so little to do with it, more of what was done as an outlet and family that is made from working together. I can’t wait to start the third but I want to see if author is possibly writing a back story to the Russian hottie that keeps popping up (fingers crossed 🤞). Loved!

They hate each other and have something else for the other, in the very botton they know that they were made for eahc other.
Eve is Asher´s sister and the cleaner daughter, and doesn´t have a lot of money, while Beck is Asher best friend and one of the richiest.
His relationship with his stepmother was so sick and i hated everything that happened there, but one thing that i loved was the way that Eve was trying to protect and help him.
This book starts as a bully romance but ends up being something else, in a good way.
I can´t say anything bad about this book, because i loved it so much that i wished i could read it for the first time.

Dark Delights indeed, if by dark you mean far fetched and by delights you mean inanity.

First, the positive: this author can write, striking the right balance between fact, description, and emotion, dialogue and exposition in her prose.

BUT. She seems to love shortcuts. Once again, her main characters are easily recognized stereotypes: the poor little lonely, unloved rich boy and the hard-working immigrant’s daughter from the poor side of town. The author does flesh out her stereotypes well in this book, as she did with the first in this series, but choosing to make Beckett a victim of sexual abuse without detailing how his stepmother could have forced him to service her and her friends struck a very false note: he was bigger than her, he had his own financial resources, he wasn’t starved, beaten, or locked up, and he despised her: how did she force him? The reader is just supposed to accept it and feel bad for his damage because the author said it so it must be true? Bogus.

Another time saving shortcut: the relationship arc in this book was shoplifted from book one almost verbatim, but the antihero’s motivations in book one were much clearer. The fighting and bickering and temper tantrums and childishness amid assorted explicit sex episodes felt very familiar.

Speaking of childishness, the reason I’m so uncomfortable with the sexual dynamics of this series so far is that they feature teenagers acting like 9-year-olds while having sex like porn stars. It’s a creepy mix. Having the characters act more like mature adults at the end doesn’t entirely fix that.

This was a barely disguised rehash of book 1, only lamer.

This was very emotionally intense read—WARNING: the hero is SA’ed/sexually abused by his step mom and her friends as a teenager. its not on page, but it is mentioned in explicit detail.

The heroine is from a poor family, her mother cleans the hero’s house and she has been in the heros orbit since they were kids and seen the darkest parts of him, the things he has wanted to keep hidden and buried, and he lashes out at her throughout years. As they grow up, the person who he craves is the very girl he has tormented and pushed away, the only girl whose touch he wants.

This book has plenty of angst, steam, tenderness, teenage rage and misunderstanding, forgiveness and love and ultimately, redemption. The only reason Im not giving this 5 stars is the ending was abrupt, no real epilogue into the future and no babies.

Safe-ish. Hero isnt a manwhore, but has been SA’ed in his teens by his stepmother and her friends. The heroine is the first woman HE chooses to have sex with consensually. The heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero, gives him the primal bond of claiming all of her firsts for himself. No ow/om drama. No cheating, sharing or abuse between MCs. On page violence, discussions and details of SA, on page attempted SA against heroine. HEA but no real epilogue and no babies

4.75⭐️ It’s official, I am addicted to this author’s books! I am, I truly am!🤭🤷🏻‍♀️ I will finish writing this review and then I will immediately get into the next book! 🤩

When I tell you how obsessed this man was with Eve, how possessive! Oh my days!! 🙌😳
But let me give you an insight into his “privileged” life.
Beckett is rich, billionaire kinda rich, at least his dad is. So you can imagine the privileged he has led. But his past, his life is much darker than it may seem, because he has been sexually abused by his stepmother when he was around 15/16 years old and he was forced by his stepmother to have sex with her cougar friends as well.
Suffice to say, he was traumatized, guilty and disgusted with himself! And to make matters worse, his father didn’t believe him when he tried to seek help. So you can imagine how damaged he was, how alone…and he tried to numb his feelings with pills, drugs, race cars…until Eve came crashing into his life. Then everything changed!🙂‍↕️😏

Let’s talk about our amazing fmc, Eve! I adored her!🙌 She was a feisty little thing, she didn’t put up with his bullshit at all! Of course, there were times when she couldn’t do anything but surrender to his BDE…because let’s face it, that man was fiiiiine! But she wasn’t a doormat, which I found so refreshing! Most of the fmc’s in bully romances are too stupid to walk the face of the earth and they let the mmc’s walk all over them, but that wasn’t the case with Eve!
She was kind, levelheaded, extremely hardworking, humble despite being a beauty and the right person to heal Becket’s “scars”. I was sooo happy to see how pampered she was by Beckett. She totally deserved it.

I loved their passion, their banter, Beckett’s jealous outbursts whenever he saw other guys near her (he would go ballistic😏) and how well they completed each other.

Realistically speaking, I am well aware that this book doesn’t necessarily deserve such a high rating. At times it was a bit far fetched and predictable, I hated the nickname Cinderella bleh😒, the epilogue was way too short ( I needed more😩) and the reason Beckett “bullied” Eve was not good enough, in my opinion.

However, despite all that and given the fact that I couldn’t put it down, I think it deserves to be added to my favorite sports romance shelf!🤭

So yeeeeeah, despite some minor details that got on my nerves, that I chose to ignore, I was highly entertained by this book! Also, I absolutely adooore the friends group, I love their whole dynamic, how much they care for each other, how ready they were to help each other, no questions asked! Great stuff!🤩

Asher and Winter, you are next!😏

Mila kane’s books slightly resemble those of Rina Kent. Yet in a much more mellow tone. Where Rina Kent tends to make her MMCs borderline abusive criminals, Mila Kane’s ones are pretty close without being so vicious.

I wholeheartedly thank my GR friend Chris for introducing me to this series. I like Book One but I absolutely loved Book 2. I think Mila Kane surprised even herself with this one. Guess she was like “did this really come from me?🤪”

Beckett of course is an asshole bully. BUT he’s suffered what no kid should suffer ever. I appreciate authors who bring notice to young male kids being abused by older women. Men and even women might think that males of all ages actually like s*x and it’s almost never enforced but unfortunately this is not the case. Rape is rape whether you’re a man, a woman or a kid.

Eve is a freakin’ machine. A badass FMC. I love that even though she’s bullied by Beckett, she holds her own with her head held up high.

This is what I am talking about. This is how I like my FMC: 👇🏻

I love when my FMC is beautiful and desired. But it was a bit of a stretch to make every man in this book lust after her and flirting with her. It was a bit annoying.

The losing her shoe at the end was an endearing allusion to her nickname, Cinderella. 😍

And this right here ladies is one of the most beautiful souls in book bfs 🥹:

““Don’t worry about me. If you’re safe… nothing can hurt me.” His hand stroked through my hair. "My Achilles heel is you… if you’re safe, I’m fucking bulletproof.” His hand stroked through my hair. “I bathed in the Styx, remember? With you by my side, I’m invincible.””

And then comes the grovelling: ughhhh 🥰🥰🥰

I’ll never forget every single tear you’ve shed because of me. I’ll pay them all back, every single one. I expected an over the top epilogue (IYKYK) yet Mila Kane left me hanging. I was a bit disappointed.

But all in all this book is so beautiful. Touching down on all kinds of human emotions. Superb 👌

I LOVED this. Beginning to end. Had the perfect blend of plot, character growth, and spice ☺️ adding in some darker elements only made this that much better!

There’s no shame in Beck’s game, the man would quite literally *unalive* anyone who got in his way when it comes to Eve. The man couldn’t be more obsessed with her, and I loved every minute of his 🚩 behavior. Plus she’s the only one whose touch he’ll allow and actually craves, after everything from his past. 🥲

I loved this one so much more than the first one. Which don’t get me wrong, I loved that one too.. but Beck just did something to me. 🙃

Loved the little glimpses of Cade And Lily! Still see that he’s also as unhinged for her as Beck is for Eve 😂😂

Very excited for the next book in the series! Excited to see where it goes since it’ll be Eve’s brother Asher. 🤔

Pick this up if you want a perfect dark hockey romance with a blend of everything that a dark romance should have. 😘

Strong beginning, I couldn’t put it down. The I-can’t-stand-you banter was great. I live for the enemy to lovers trope.

As the story develops, we get a LOT of sexy scenes fillers (can there be too much smut? 🥴).
What I needed was more plot, how did they fall in love? Why did Evelyn say one day she’s in love with him? I thought she hated him.
And Beckett. Well, he was sexually abused by his stepmom so he was a damaged soul. How did he go from “don’t touch me” to “let’s be together forever” in a few weeks?

Still think book #1 was better, but I’ll give the next one a go *maybe*

Gave this 1.5 stars because the idea was there and I liked the premise. But the overexplaining and repetition in that explaining was overdone and obnoxious.

There were parts that didn’t make sense as well. Eve plans to go to this party. Then gets asked by her friend to go to the same party and is reluctant. Then she gets told by one of her roommates that they’re all going to this party. And each time, it’s like she’s surprised about a party happening. 🤦🏻‍♀️ like how many times does it take this girl to remember this party she had already guilted her friend into going to with her on her first day at college?

And then there’s the “gorgeous but doesn’t know it” trope that annoys the hell out of me. It’s like literally everyone is turned on by how hot she is and she’s all awkward and doesn’t know how to respond, unless it’s Beck that says something.

And of course, a huge part of the issue between the MMC and FMC is a communication issue. Which could’ve been solved immediately by him saying “New York? What are you talking about?” And then her explaining. Or her just saying “look, I’m trying to stay away from you like you asked…” and he could respond saying “what are you talking about?” Or any variation… real life situations of miscommunication totally happen, but when things aren’t clicking… people generally ask questions. Not these two idiots though. They’re colorblind or something because those red flags are super obvious.

Also, does anyone else seriously cringe when an author writes about sticking anything in someone’s ass and then immediately sticking the same thing on or inside the girl? Really, it makes me cringe and ruins the “sexy” image the author is going for. All I can think is “she’s gonna be hurting very soon!!!

It's been some time since I've read a bully romance, so I thought, why not? Let's do it.
I've enjoyed the first book in Hellions of Hade Harbour Series, so it was about the time I've checked the following book.

We've had a chance to meet Eve & Beckett in the previous book and there is no denying that they were not each other's favourites lol from the moment they've met years ago when they were only children they formed mutual hatred towards one another. Years later, they still blinded by mistaken idea they have of each other. It will take them some time to discover how wrong they were.

Eve didn't have an easy life. She grew up poor, her mom trying her best to make both ends meet, cleaning for Beckett's family. One thing she ever wanted was to be accepted. She never felt like she belonged. Despite all that, she is a strong female who isn't afraid to stand her ground and fight when necessary.
On the other hand, we have Beckett. Typical spoiled rich boy right, you couldn't be more wrong. His life turned upside-down the monent his mom passed away, and his father invited into their home a monster who will leave scars on his soul.
Even when Beck tried to reach out for help, he was silenced. My heart was breaking for him.

Things get more complicated when Eve takes the blame for something she didn't do. Beckett is thirty for revenge.
Did I mention her overprotective twin brother is Becks best friend lol So many things will happen but you can  definitely count on hot moment's between them, there will be a lot of passion and desire, unexpected twists and turns and finally healing. They were perfect for each other no matter how hard they were trying to fight the fate.

Hello, bully romance perfection! Beck is such a tasty possessive, obsessive, bully that will do anything to keep his Cinderella close by and all his, even if he does “hate” her. Eve may be inexperienced, but she was strong and determined as heck to work hard and take care of her mother. I was immediately hooked and found myself reading way past my bedtime, unable to put it down. The trauma, turmoil, and chemistry made this book unputdownable. I can’t wait for book 3!
This is the second book in the Hellions of Hade Harbor series, but can be read as a standalone.
