What are the most important unwritten rules of a wedding? Do not arrive late. Refrain from disruptive behavior. Never upstage the bride.
Katie is looking forward to serving from her ice cream truck at a black-tie wedding on a palatial estate in Massachusetts, when an incoming snowstorm suddenly moves up the start time. Thanks to the housekeeping staff, she avoids breaking rule number one. Shortly after the cocktail hour ends, however, she manages to find herself breaking rules two and three at the same time, along with help from an involuntary participant.
The Chadsworth family is thrown into chaos when one of their own is discovered unresponsive beneath a table when they should have been part of the bridal party introductions at the reception. Of course, Katie Thorne, ice cream scooper extraordinaire, is the first to discover not only the body but also the details that keep the suspicious circumstances from getting swept under the dance floor.
What will it take to prevent the unofficial royalty of New England from keeping their bouquet of dirty little secrets to themselves and allow Katie and her friendly feline, Jaspurr, to serve up some justice?

I hope more releases to come!
Katie is selling ice cream all over New England when she is booked for a wedding. While working the wedding a murder takes place! She is involved in the investigation leading to the arrest.
I would highly recommend this series and author to readers of romantic family and friends relationship adventures novels 😃🐈 2025 🎉😕
This is a short mystery novel with Katie and her cat, Jaspurr. Katie owns and lives in her pink ice cream truck and has a gig at a wedding of a really wealthy family. When a groomsman from the wealthy family dies, Katie takes it upon herself to find the culprit. I really liked the whodunit aspect of this book; I thought it added a nice and unsuspected surprise. However, I wish there were actual clues to lead to the culprit. If you like trying to solve the case with the main character, this isn't for you.
Katie isn't all that likeable to me. She is just an okay character. I think part of that is we never see a deeper side to her; just surface level interactions. I like Jaspurr, but it's definitely rude to sneak a cat into someone else's house. Each chapter has a title, which is so cute. It is a quick read so if you're looking to finish a book in under two hours, this fits that nicely.
"Twist the Knot (The Ice Cream Truck Mysteries #4)" by Virginia K. Bennett has Katie catering her ice cream at wedding. Unfortunately, a death puts a damper on the festivities. Then Katie gets stuck investigating, well she literally gets her truck stuck in a the venue's yard and investigates because she can't help herself/wants to feel safe staying overnight.
I had a couple of suspects in mind for this one. I kind of kept turning to the next one as a clue came up. There were a couple clues I felt would be important but until we got their connections they could link to anyone.
In book #4 of the ice cream truck mysteries, Katie and her cat, Jaspurr find themselves at a mansion In Massachusetts where Katie is hired to cater a wedding by serving ice cream from her truck to the wedding guests. While working from her truck, she spots a dead body which is the beginning of a mystery she and Jaspurr set out to solve. Another fun book in an entertaining series.
