It’s time for Petra Graves to get back to her roots.

Killing, that is.

If she’s to have any hope of being reunited with her lost love and staving off the arrival of some mythical, cosmos-ending snake beast, she’ll need to find and kill a mysterious Shadow Lord.

An easy enough job. Or it would be if she wasn’t sadly lacking in the magic department.

Still, hunting down a demigod with nothing but her two Light-infused handguns, the aid of her companions, and the lessons she’s learned over the past few years doesn’t sound like too big an ask.

Does it?

Whew, what a flipping struggle!!! I'm finished with Mr. Quaid for good. I can't handle any more. The only reason this SERIES received a 2 star rating instead of 0 is because the story itself was somewhat entertaining.
I am extremely disappointed that an "author" could or more aptly would release not only 1 book but 9 and counting, in this particular case, with such blatant errors rife throughout the series.
No/know, two/to/too, their/there/they're, well/whale, then/than, four/for/fore are but a few of the word choices authors use, in their respective context, as part of a primary repertoire. Not so for Mr. Quaid. Let's just throw shit on paper and see if it sticks. We must not forget spelling, capitalization and punctuation as well. In other words, Mr. Quaid, get a FREAKING EDITOR!! I would add "besides spellcheck" but even spellcheck would have caught some of the egregious errors made.
I'm not so naive as to say authors don't make mistakes, even A-listers with editing staffs. Four or five examples per book might be acceptable but not per page, in some cases, as Mr. Quaid was prone to do.
It is annoying to get into the flow of a story only to be yanked out of it by having to go back and re-read a sentence, trying to figure out WTF it meant because of errors. NO MAS Señor Quaid, enough is enough. It is hard enough for "indies" to survive without this kind of writing being released. To be fair Mr. Quaid, did you even read your own books???
TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AND PROFESSION MR. QUAID.....PLEASE.
