Stalking His Target is a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, hidden identity, virgin gets her CIA stalker romance. Layla is an 18 year old sweet and curvy girl who works at an art supply store and happens to be the niece of a cartel boss. Taylor is a 29 year old hunky CIA operative who is stalking Layla, his mark, to get to her uncle but has fallen in love with her. When they finally meet, it's love at first sight for her too, but what happens when she finds out who he really is? Can Taylor take out his target and keep the love of his life? The chemistry between these two was pure fire, and the ending was very happy after a lot of drama. I loved it.

The night that Layla meets Taylor is a night that she needed saving, she was about to be bundled into a white van and taken God knows where, when like an avenging angel he appears from no where and saves her from being kidnapped. Layla fell in love there and then. She has spent weeks with him since that fateful night, falling a little deeper each time she sees him, but she can tell that he is keeping something from her, but with her family’s business she has to be careful who she trusts. Is Taylor the man for her or is he an imposter and can she trust his word?

To Ryder she was just meant to be a mark, find a way to meet the niece of an infamous Cartel boss, he was meant to infiltrate and get to the man himself. The stage had been set, and he was in the right place at the right time to rescue her from being kidnapped, but that was the night that he realized that love at first sight really did exist. He has been playing the long game, but for how long can he play the part of a construction worker Taylor and not betray the woman he loves. Who will Ryder choose his job and mission or the woman he had no chance of not falling for?

This is a super OTT steamy read. I had a few issues with this book and would have liked Layla to have been harder on Ryder when she discovers the truth, but this is still a classic Jenna Rose read. 4.3*

This is the most absurd and revolting book I read in a long time. I think that what made me so mad is that until 80% of the story I was really enjoying the suspense and passion between the main characters. But then the fmc discovered all the lies and manipulations of the mmc, and she just became the most idiot weak excuse of a woman. She accepted everything like was nothing. It’s ok if he said he has to kill you if you scream, it’s ok if he lied about every aspect of his life. Hey, his just a man! That made me ao angry that I had to come here open my heart lol
I enjoy this author, but is kind of a turn off how she refuse to finish a story and just jump for the epilogue when every big issue of the plot is already fix. Like, are you tired, honey? Please, just wright more one chapter and let the readers have some closure.

This book mande me have angry issues, and is a long time since I have such strong reaction about a story, so congratulations for this.

This is the 3rd book in the Twisted Hearts series featuring the steamy OTT insta-love, obsession, possessive, stalker romance between Ryder and Layla. Ryder works for the CIA and when he gets his next assignment he never could have imagined how it would change his life. Ryder was just supposed to observe and watch Layla learn all about her so that he could get close in order to discover where her uncle a dangerous cartel boss is. However while watching her Ryder fell in love with Layla so now his feelings could compromise the mission. Will Ryder follow his heart or his orders? You really need to read this steamy OTT insta-love, obsession, possessive, stalker romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Ryder and Layla have a very dependent relationship. Ryder falls fast and hard over Layla when he's supposed to be watching her as a target for the CIA. His feelings make his operation dangerous for him and Layla. Once they get together, they are explosive. They can't stay away from each other, and soon, the lies Ryder's hiding start coming up.
The story was entertaining and smutty. I had fun reading it. However, I found the ending kind of rushed. All the drama when she learns about Ryder's mission is summarized, and we don't get much of their lives after Ryder completes his mission. If you don't mind the rushed ending, you will like this story.

This was such a fun, fast-paced read! If you love obsessive heroes, insta-love, and plenty of steam, Stalking His Target delivers. Ryder is intense, possessive to the extreme, and absolutely gone for Layla from the moment he lays eyes on her. Their chemistry? Explosive. The tension builds as secrets and lies threaten to unravel everything, making this an addictive, page-turning read. While the ending felt a bit rushed, the story kept me hooked, and the delicious mix of danger, intrigue, and heat made it a great escape. If you’re into protective, stalker-y heroes who will not be denied, this one’s for you! 😏🔥

Stalking His Target is the third book in the Twisted Hearts series. This is a darker series with what may be disturbing subjects and possible triggers. This story find Tyler becoming obsessed with Layla as soon as he lays eyes on her. But he is undercover as a CIA agent getting intel on the drug cartel. He arranges for them to meet and she falls for him also. But something seems off to her about him and what he is hiding will cause more than a few troubles to come their way. But he is not about to let her get away as she is his everything.

This is a fun, short read, spicy, no cheating, insta love story with a very happy ending.
We have our big, handsome, protective and possessive MMC Taylor and our sweet, beautiful, innocent MFC Layla.
He’s a stalker, she’s his target 😁. But what she and others don’t realize, Layla is his and he protects what’s his.

Stalking His Target is a deliciously fun read. Taylor is an undercover operative who falls obsessively in love with his target. The chemistry between these two is intense, and their banter is wildly fun. The backstory is entertaining with a blend of action and intensity. There is a bit of daddy kink but nothing overt or too intense—though there is plenty of smexy times in this novella.

This was a fun read. Tyler's obsession was intense and all consuming. Layla was a quiet person who didn't seem to thrive on the party life of those few friends she had. The draw and connection between them kumped off the page from their first interaction. Intrigue and secrets upped the tension in the book the longer the MCs were together. How long would it take for all of those secrets and lies to unravel?

The intensity of the MMC's emotions for the FMC is conveyed between the lines; however, he is torn between his possessive love for her and his sense of duty to his father. I appreciate that he stayed true to his values and did not betray what he held dear.

I like this. It’s short, quick, and easy read. Love that both MCs are already hot for each other the moment they meet and it didn’t take long in the story for them to be together. 4 stars!

My favorite out of the series. The fact that she was his target to begin with, even though she has nothing to do with her uncle, who the FBI actually wanted. Then the epilogue starts with her being almost kidnapped and tested by the FBI. Strange to think but not a bad short read.
