Isn’t that how the poem goes? At least it’s always been true for me. An Easter baby, I’ve been an inconvenience to my parents from the day I was born. From nasty words to pure indifference, my childhood was something I didn’t like to revisit. Especially not that dreadful day when they took my bunny away from me…
But luckily, that’s all in the past! I have a new job—my dream job, actually—in a chocolate shop, and my new boss, Easter Bennett, is the dreamiest guy to have walked the face of the earth, ever. He’s a little grumpy, though… well, a lot actually, and I often find him looking at me funny when he thinks I don’t notice.
Sometimes I wonder if he is ‘The One.’ The one I can finally let my guard down with and be myself. The one I can introduce to Bunny. Because being around my new boss has Bunny begging to come out. He’s pleading to be set free so he can be owned by him, my Master.
A Bunny for Easter is a sweet and spicy MM novella and the third book in the Kinked for the Holidays series. It features a lost, neglected Bunny who finally finds his Master in a dashing, yet awfully grumpy, chocolatier in small-town Kent. Expect fluffy bunny ears, onesies with easy access, multi-purpose carrots, and chocolate play when opposites collide, and two lonely souls find their happily ever after.
What a sweet and heartwarming story about a grumpy chocolatier falling head over heels in love with his new employee, Benjamin aka Bunny! I loved Bunny so much! He was so adorable and kind with a naughty streak who was in need of some love! I just wanted to hug and protect him. East (Easter) was the perfect Master and together, their chemistry was off the charts hot! I loved their journey to their HEA, it gave me all the feels!
This was a surprise. I mean yeah, the kink and adorable love story, hurt comfort and care taking is all on point and great and you enjoy it as a story. But what I really liked, was the author's writing. This was adorably funny (even though the dramatic Oliver Twist-y parts were tear inducing😢). I suppose written word translates differently through the filters of our brains so, for me, I watched this as a British movie. It was all there, even the climate, street view, store front, vegetable patch and especially the scent of chocolate. I could feel this book and enjoyed it very much. *This is now number one on the Easter-kinky- bunny-oliver-twisty-fun list, I never knew I needed.🐰🐇
**actors in my brain: Easter - Alexander Skarsgard Bunny - Kai (Gudel)
Easter Bennett owns the delicious chocolate shop East of Eden. He is in desperate need of an assistant to help, but is very particular as to who he hires. He wants someone who knows what they are talking about.
Benjamin B Sable needs a job, and finds himself standing in East of Eden handing over his CV. Ben has never known love, his parents and brothers despaired of him, and told him he was useless and embarrassing. Having the strength and courage to leave their house, he walked out into a world of the unknown. He befriends Mr. Harvey an older man who needs help with the weeding on his allotment, and in return he can stay in his shed.
Ben was deprived of many things growing up, but the one thing he loved was chocolate, and he made it his point to learn all about cocoa. East sees Ben as a gentle and beautiful soul, and he offers him the job. As the shop is getting ready for Easter, he calls Ben ‘Bunny’ and then he sees something ignite in his eyes. They then have some very steamy times. All Ben wants is someone to love him unconditionally. That person is East. They are made to be with each other. Ben needs and deserves all the love and cuddles that East will give.
Anja and Emma have gone and done it yet again. The self proclaimed ‘kinkster sisters’ have turned another grump into a care giver, and a sunshine into deserving boyfriend. The characters are written perfectly. This heartbreaking and utterly heartwarming book made me happy sigh and feel disgusted for the way Ben was treated by people who are meant to love him regardless. Mr. Harvey and East’s mom were great side characters. I also adored the cameo from Heaven and Mason. I am sure that Heaven and Ben exchanged numbers and are now life long friends.
I could go on and on about how incredible Anja and Emma’s writing is. They both have such a talent and I love them. If they write it I will read it
Sweet gorgeous Benjamin was always told he failed at every level and was a mistake to be born. Please sweet boy don’t believe what your parents told you. You are the best!! I was so happy to meet you!
His dream is working at the chocolate shop, Easter the owner of the shop is amazed by Bunny’s knowledge. Benjamin is endearing he tugs at Easter’s heartstrings, the man is utterly grumpy, but one eye on Benjamin and Easter has visions, long soft fluffy ears, a b-plug, soft cuffs, oh boy, or… oh Bunny. How on earth does this man know what Benjamin craves, exactly this!
They are completely dazzled by each other, behind Easter’s grumpy exterior is a kind and gentle man who worships the ground his Bunny walks on. Bunny sees the real Easter, the beautiful man he is, the man he wants so desperately! Oh my goodness these two sexy men together BAM!!
“You know I can’t actually have your babies, right?”
“Doesn’t mean we can’t try.”
Sweet SWEET Benjamin feels so inadequate and thinks he’s too much. Ha! He never met a more dedicated man like Easter, watch how thoroughly he loves his Bunny!
I loooove first, tentative, kisses! So adorable!
My heart exploded as fireworks, every time they opened their hearts, every time they spoke sweet endearments or showed their adoration for each other, their love, or every time they were amazed they found each other. So much happiness! My heart needed this so much!
I absolutely love and adore both E L Ough and A E Jensen, having read all of the works from both of them. This is a cute, fluffy and heartwarming story, paired with angsty boys and kink, what's not to love. East and Bunny are both fabulous
Benjamin (Bunny) is such a beautiful soul who deserves a master to cherish and love him for exactly who he is. Easter (East) knows he's not the easiest person to get along with, so he throws his all into his work as well known chocolotier until Benjamin enters his life. The moment they enter each other's orbits, life is about to change for everyone. Bunny now has his deserving Master. East allows his Bunny to slowly become more confident in himself by showing his all the love and care he has always deserved yet never was within his reach. East learns to embrace all the good things in the world and forgive past mistakes by seeing how letting someone all the way in truly does change your perspective of the world. Team it up with a cast of beautiful side characters who help show Benjamin how truly special he is and that you are in for a sweet journey.
A bunny for Easter is a kinky story about chocolatier Easter Bennett and his new shop assistant Benjamin B. sable. These names 🤣 they’re the best! Easter is a grumpy man, but he melts for sunshine Benjamin- or Bunny. These two are really cute together and their dynamic is special for both of them.
You’ll love this book if you like: 🍫Chocolate shop owner 🐰Boss/ employee 🐰Grumpy x sunshine 🐰Hurt / comfort 🐰Bunny ears 🍫Parental neglect 🍫Forced proximity 🐰Virgin MC 🍫Possessive MC 🐰Lingerie
Had me at the Author’s Note 🥺 And damn. The dedication too. Heart wrenching introduction into Benjamin’s past and his current reality. He is so deserving of someone to embrace him and his trauma, to take care of him for the first time in his life.
How perfect they are for one another. Truly made for each other. Unconditional love that Bunny needs so badly, and yet he was also exactly what East needed as well. Delicious combination of sweet and dirty dirty dirty.
I adored the brief, but lovely connection to characters Mason and Heaven from Christmas in Heaven. Makes me want to go back for a re-read immediately! Benjamin and Heaven are meant to be besties!
Side characters: Meredith, Mr Harvey were utter perfection! And mom Dot was the ultimate hug!
Another adorable novella by @anjalovesbooks and @emmareads40 ! It’s special, it’s cozy and it’s sweet like chocolate and fluffy like plushie bunnies. If you’re in the mood for a grumpy-sunshine romance with an extra sprinkle of sweetness (and maybe a touch of kinky spice) this cute as heck book is it! It serves up a delicious mix of tender moments, quirky obsessions, and a romance that melts in your heart like chocolate. (Side note - I can never look at chocolate the same 😉)
Easter the gruff, no-nonsense owner of a cozy chocolate shop, prides himself on perfection. He’s got no time or patience for chaos, and no interest in anything that messes with his carefully structured world. Then comes Benjamin—his newest employee, a ball of sunshine with an almost ridiculous love for all things bunny-related, you name it, he adores it. Something about Benjamin’s sweet personality and innocent charm draws East in.
What Benjamin doesn’t realize is that Easter has always had a particular weakness for the same thing. Bunnies. One that is deeper, more like a secret desire. And suddenly, this bright-eyed, soft-hearted employee is temptation wrapped in pastel colors and floppy ears.
I love how we see East change, beneath all that tough exterior, he’s got a hidden softness, one that only Benjamin seems to bring out. His need for wanting to nurture and care for Benjamin is heart warming. Benjamin is the definition of adorable. He’s vulnerable—sometimes too trusting, sometimes a little naive—but with a kindness that makes people want to protect him.
The tension between them is absolutely delicious. ‘A Bunny for Easter’ is endearing, hilarious, playful and kinky!
Heck yes! These two are back with another great story you cannot miss! You seriously just want to wrap Bunny up. Who wouldn't want to work in a chocolate shop? Easter is the owner of the shop and when Benjamin comes in for a job he is at first put off. But! There i just something about Benjamin that draws him in and solidifies the hea. Jensen and Ough are fabulous writers and I am looking forward to what they come up with next.
1st person, present tense, dual PoV Easter M. Bennett (34), chocolatier owner of East of Eden Benjamin B. Sable (24), seasonal helper at East of Eden
Honestly I was hoping for a bit of a fluffier Easter read when I downloaded this but it was still good.
The Author's Note at the beginning really helped set expectations. Something I wasn't super clear about, since I've not read any other books by this writing duo, was whether Bunny was a shifter (he is not). I also wasn't completely sure whether this was a pet play book (it is???).
This was considerably more insta than I typically enjoy for a story of this length. I really enjoy watching MCs being drawn into each other's orbit as they find common ground and discover their perfect match in each other.
Both Ben and East had rough childhood situations and while I certainly didn't want to read a book mired in trauma, I would have enjoyed a little more exploration of these themes as they got to know each other to create a more cohesive narrative.
I enjoyed the way they made each other feel seen and accepted throughout the story. Their chemistry in the bedroom was excellent and I thought the creative use of chocolate was fun.
I loved how while Ben's birth family was awful (and thankfully remained off-page), he found people to fill the voids left by them. I adored all the supporting people who helped and accepted him; Mr. Harvey, Meredith, and East's mother, Dot.
This is my first book from E.L. Ough Author and my second from A.E. Jensen and I'm so thrilled I got to receive and ARC of this! Wonderful book! A Bunny for Easter - I loved this. Short and sweet. Absolutely adorable. I mean the cute is cutesing through this whole thing. Bunny is almost childlike in his open praise and delight for all things sweet and pretty. And East's self proclaimed grumpiness doesn't fool anyone except maybe himself, but his internal fight to hold onto his title, even when another grump comes to challenge his state of grumpiness, is absolutely hilarious. AND the carrot references!!! I mean, there are bunny references all over the place in this, but I will never look at a carrot the same way. How I laughed, and had to share the carrot references with people because I couldn't contain the hilarity of it to myself. Bunny has a harsh past and his insecurities come up to bite him in the worst of ways at several points in the story. One in a way that was enough to have him running from East and hiding completely. I loved how East doesn't miss a step, doesn't miss a beat, the moment he realized Benjamin was his bunny, he was all in, including tracking him down and bringing him home when Bunny ran away. I loved the shop owner in the beginning and of course, East's mom, Dot. I love how effortlessly Bunny is loved by East and Dot, how he found a place in the world that didn't cut him down and hurt him anymore. I also love how Bunny's confidence grew. How he teased and played with East, and I love how it didn't escape East's attention. How proud East was that his Bunny's confidence grew throughout the story. So yes, for the most part, spicy pet kink and the spice was definitely spicy, but the story was so much more than just kinky spice and 'needy, carrot-deprived holes' (couldn't make it through a review without repeating that line). This story sheds light on childhood trauma and the long-term affects that can be carried into adulthood. It shows a broken young man grow to become more confident in himself under the constant steady patience and love of his Master. This shows how a grumpy master can be sweet, thoughtful, ridiculously whipped and wholeheartedly caring for his one and only Bunny. Overall, this book has a bit of everything and is a delight to read!
This is the third book I’ve read by The Kinkster Sisters - @anjalovesbooks and @emmareads40 - and they just get better and better. Sweet and salty, tender and naughty - with a large dose of humor for good measure. Yes, please!
Easter Bennett. Master chocolatier. A grump, but not without charm. He’s overwhelmed with orders and knows he needs help, but no one feels right. And then a beautiful boy with a handwritten resume has him impulsively, uncharacteristically, offering him the job.
Benjamin Sable. Innocent. Chocolate lover. What a soulful, utterly original character. He’s lovely. A pox on his family who made him feel less than. Desperate to work in East’s shop, trying so hard not to disappoint. Good lord, I loved this sweet little soul who somehow just knew how to push East’s buttons.
There a moment when Benjamin and Easter first feel that connection. Time stops and they just know. They’re each other’s person. So much is said without words and there’s this frisson of energy between them. It’s electric. And then East utters the word that changes everything.
“Bunny…”
Mr. Bennett, you’re fooling no one with your gruff exterior. Sir! The care he shows Bunny, sweeping away his doubts and shame, it’s everything. The way these two men surrender their tender hearts is a beautifully told love story.
Of course there’s humor, with a side of kink. And something I’ve never seen in a book is handled with such sensitivity. My heart broke for Bunny, then darn near burst as East tried to make everything all right.
Emma and Anja - how dare you make me cry and then laugh in the same chapter. The audacity! I’ll never look at a bunny tail the same way again. And that bawdy, innuendo filled lunch with Easter’s mom was classic. You can call him a grump, but East’s inner monologue and digressions about his online shopping were hysterical.
Sexy. Swoony. And slightly kinky. Fun with chocolate, indeed! A+ secondary characters, especially the amazing Mr. Harvey. And there’s a Easter Egg cameo (hah!) that will make you giggle. I loved it!
And that cover is a perfect - no wonder East couldn’t resist! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶 🌶 🌶 Humor: 😂😂😂😂😂 Has my Heart: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♾️ Recommend: 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌
They've done it again
This book was absolutely everything and more. I laughed and cried throughout the whole book. These two were absolutely perfect for one another.
Benjamin was such a sweet and beautiful soul. He made me want to hold him tight and let him know that everything was going to be okay. His parents were major jerks and I am so glad he found East when he did.
East, well, this grumpy man was just that, a grumpy grump, but he was perfection when it came to chocolate and his bunny 😉. He needed his bunny to make him feel complete. The way he was there for Benjamin melted my heart and made me sniffle back the tears. He is such a beautiful and sexy grump.
"If I were in a fantasy book right now, I’d be shooting baby bunnies out my butt at how excited I am." - Benjamin had me rolling 🤣
And well their love had my heart falling into place. 🥹🥹
“Of course you were, my darling Bunny. You were always mine. I just needed to find you and bring you home.” Home. Home, home, home, my body hums and tears spring from my eyes. “I am home now, am I not, Master?” I sniff, tears cascading into my hair, blood rushing through my head, so loud; like an angry ocean wave crashing against the shore. “Yes,” he sighs, and I hear the trace of vulnerability in his voice. “Yes, my heart. You are home now. You’ve come home to me.” - East and His Bunny 🐰 🥰🥰 *sigh*
My Heart is forever in the hands of the Anja and Emma. They have stolen my heart with their books and I don't think I ever want to come back.
Oh my sweet Bunny 💔 I swear I had tears in my eyes reading the first third of this book. His childhood was tragic, his parent who were supposed to love and care for him actually hated him and their behaviour toward him encouraged his older brothers to join in the cruelty.
Poor Bunny, he didn’t receive his first hug until he was about twenty one and met a wonderful old man named Frank who found Bunny tidying up the vegetables and weeds in his allotment and sleeping rough in his shed. Frank looked out for Bunny and for the first time in his life he had someone to care about him.
Bunny had no idea how his life would change the day he walked into a Chocolate shop looking for a job and met the grumpy, grouchy owner Easter, and met his soulmate. ❤️🩹Easter was stunned looking at the pretty and frail looking Bunny and he did resist, for a few days, being grumpier than ever until hilarious events played a part and oh boy did things heat up🔥
There is someone for everyone and Bunny and Easter were perfect for each other. As Easter cared for his Bunny, Bunny started to gain in confidence, found a naughty funny side to his personality and was everything his Master hoped for❤️
This was sweet, endearing, sad at times but also amusing, with heat and a lot of love. The other characters Frank, Easter’s mum and Millicent from the menswear shop were all lovely and gave Bunny the love and family he had been denied growing up.
Really enjoyable and I would recommend and thank you Emma and Anja for gifting me the ARC, oh and I have gone off carrots!😂
Nothing but sweetness with this book. It is no surprise that A.E. Jensen and E.L. Ough create magic together.
This book had everything I needed when I read it, the sweetness, need Bunny, possessive Master and some fun times with carrots & chocolate 🤭 (IYKYK and if you don’t pre-order now or download it on April 15).
Bunny (Benjamin) is a broken bunny who deserved nothing but the absolute best in the world. Huge level of throat 🤛🏼 I wanted to do to his family was real. Easter (yes that is his name) on the other hand was the grumpiest of grumps but when he finally found his bunny he knew what was missing in life.
Again nothing but sweetness and heat coming off these pages. If you are wanting both those things with a Broken Bunny and a Grumpy Master then 🏃🏻♀️ to 🚶🏻♀️ to grab this gem.
Please ✔️ TRIGGER WARNINGS before jumping in. If you have none then just jump in 😉.

Hmm... how do I say this? If Anja and Emma write it, I'll read it. This series is so much fun, it's s*xy, but it's also heartwarming.
East is a character I really loved reading about. His grumpy a*s was fun to watch become putty in Bunny's hands.
Bunny is a character that is a bit harder to read about because of all his trauma. It legit broke my heart reading about all the things he had to go through throughout his life. He did not deserve that. I am so, so happy he found East, because this boy seriously needs all the love in the world, and he also deserves it.
While I love the Master dynamic in books, I don't know how I feel about the pet play. I don't have anything against it, and I can read it just fine. It's just not my cup of tea. It didn't take away from the story or anything, and it made so much sense in this one. East gave Benjamin exactly what he craved, exactly what he needed, and I love him for that.
The cameo in this book was chef's kiss. I missed my boy, Heaven, so much. Ahhh, it was nice seeing him so happy and in love. Precious boy.
This book has a lot of funny parts, you'll laugh, you'll get emotional, you'll feel helpless and angry, but you'll also feel hope. The spice is also chef's kiss. It suited them so well. All the scenes were tailored perfectly to fit the characters.
Remember how I said that you'll get angry at some point? Yeah, that happens, but keep in mind that Benjamin is fine in the end. That's all that matters. He found someone who loves him, appreciates him, and shows him every day that he is a priority. HE DESERVES ALL THAT.
Well done, ladies, you made Eastern sound... hot. Lord, forgive us 🤣.
💗🐰A Bunny For Easter by A.E. Jensen and E.L. Ough 🐰💗
A shminky, sweet, sultry and relatively short story that packs so much in! Sweet neglected Bunny has had a hard life and truly deserves to be put first. Grumpy chocolatier Easter has been waiting his whole life to cherish his Bunny! A perfect match and lovely story! Highly recommend!

Official Description: A Bunny for Easter is a sweet and spicy MM novella and the third book in the K! for the Holidays series.
Sweet, adorable Benjamin B Sable had suffered from the two people who was supposed to give him unconditional love. Alone from the moment he turned 18 he applied for a job at the local chocolate shop, run by Easter/East, resident grump and chocolatier extraordinaire. It did not matter who Benjamin interacted with he always won them over, his sweet naïve nature had everyone looking out for him and Easter was no different. However their interest in each other heated up, when Easter found out Benjamin loved Bunnies just as much as him. Easter was a natural caregiver and when Benjamin's childhood trauma was revealed, Easter just bundled him up in his big arms I became his biggest fan. There are some comedy moments and I laughed so hard at the conversation over Sunday dinner at Dot's(Easter's mom) and even then you can see how much more confidence Benjamin had. With a cute bunny and chocolatier who wants to give him the world, this is a good book for readers who want to start reading kink.
I know there's insta-love and insta-lust but what about insta-swoon? I think this falls under that category.
Benjamin (aka Bunny) has been taught that he's too much. Not worth staying for, not worth loving. He's just so sweet and soft - while East is his abrasive, grumpy opposite. I don't think East ever really believed he had a chance of resisting but he really thought he was going to try.
I adore East and the way he instantly feels protective over Bunny and the way Bunny is able to open up and be himself with confidence. Plus we got a peek at Heaven and Mason?! The way I got so excited when they popped in. I love them - I love this series and the way it focuses on how different love can look but that it doesn't make it any less powerful. Even when there's a bunny tail involved!
*I received an arc in exchange for an honest review
This was cute! I don't read a lot of pet play, which is what I'd consider this to be. It's not something I, myself, am interested in. But I love both of these authors, so of course I was going to read it.
I did feel it was a little more fast-paced than I hoped for. Bunny and Easter went from strangers to 'I love you' very quickly. Which isn't always a bad thing, and this is just my opinion on what I prefer. But I didn't let that change my review or rating of it. You still get the full relationship with angst and baggage included. They each have their own flaws, and I loved that those are talked about and accepted. Bunny's personality is very much excitable and rabbit-like when he's comfortable and around people who love him. He evens out Easter's grumpiness and brings down Easter's walls.
My favorite scene would have to be the dinner with Easter's mom. That scene made me giggle.
This is a cute, short little read. Perfect for something to read during the month of April and Easter.
A Bunny for Easter is a kinky, heartwarming treat featuring grumpy chocolatier Easter Bennett and his sweet new assistant, Benjamin B. Sable—aka Bunny. From the punny names to the swoony dynamic, this story is equal parts spicy and soft.
Benjamin, neglected and unloved by his family, finds hope, healing, and passion working at East of Eden, a chocolate shop owned by the gruff but secretly tender-hearted Easter. Their grumpy x sunshine, boss/employee dynamic is filled with hurt/comfort, bunny ears, lingerie, and a deep emotional connection that feels earned and genuine.
Despite the kink and playfulness, the story has a lot of heart. Benjamin’s vulnerability is beautifully written, and Easter’s possessive affection feels like exactly what Bunny deserves. Their chemistry is explosive, but it’s the way they see and care for each other that really shines.
If you're into chocolate, fluff, a little angst, and a whole lot of heat—this one's for you.
Standalone novella (Kinked for the Holidays). Grumpy/sunshine. Hurt/comfort. Pet play. Dual POV.
Easter just wants to run his chocolate shop and be left alone, until a young man seeking a job sparks all kinds of forever thoughts. Benjamin has been told all his life that he’s not normal, but somehow his new boss sees through to the bunny within him and Benjamin finds he can be himself with the grumpy but dreamy Easter.
This story had a special kind of soulmate feel to it even though it has no paranormal leanings, there is a deep connection between Benjamin and Easter almost immediately and once they are together they don’t let go. Equal parts sweet and spicy, I wish there was more about them getting to know each other and their past histories, but this was a thoroughly entertaining reading nonetheless. A cute, quick read with no angst and a bunch of things that seem meant to be.
I was lucky enough to beta read this beautiful story by Anja and Emma and they in turn had to deal with my impatient ass 🤭 I read faster than they could write and I NEEDED more of those two immediately! So to say I was hooked from the start would be an understatement. Bunny’s tragic upbringing and his life before his East came into the picture had me rooting for them from the start. The grumpy East quickly melted in Bunny’s presence and I loved that. The funny moments, the tension between them, the lingering moments, the love and, of course the spice was all amazing.
Also, I can never look at a carrot again without hearing “multi-purpose carrots” 😂
Loved this wonderful book and how they got their HEA. But it was no surprise, really. Emma and Anja always create magic together, and I do love magic ✨
“Who really truly wants normal when they can have a bunny? When they can have you.”
“What is normal anyway, darling?” he hums. “Who’s to say that what we have isn’t as normal and as right as it comes?”
* Sweet * Fun * Spicy *
Once again these authors had me laughing out loud with joy. From the personal authors’ note to the wonderful characters and world that is created for us I found this to be the perfect treat not only for Easter but for any time of the year. All the characters captured my heart on this one.
Beautiful Dedication!
Thank You for your beautiful stories :) I am looking forward to more!
