Daisy had the perfect love story—until life took her husband too soon. Zeke thought he had it all, but betrayal followed him even beyond his wife’s grave. When their paths cross in Tallahassee, their hearts recognize a connection neither of them expected. Yet with Daisy feeling like loving again would dishonor her past, and Zeke afraid to trust anyone with his heart, their budding romance faces hurdles from within and from family members who aren’t ready to see them move on. Together, they must learn that healing is possible, and love can be found in the most unexpected places.
Oh my goodness, Waletta, my friend, this story was well worth the wait! The characters are relatable and I love these men loving Christ. Daisy got on my nerves a couple times but thankfully she finally saw the light. If you’re looking for a great love story, this is it.
Widow Daisy Whittington, and widower Ezekiel Daniel, both understand loss. Learning to live again is not easier for either. Is it fear, or a lack of trust. Just maybe they don't know how to accept what's in front of them.
Hearts on hold was a joyful and inspirational read. The storyline as well as the characters was relatable. I can't wait to read "The Promise of Us" when it comes out next month. Thanks for the great reads.
I was rooting for Send and Daisy. I love how this story was written. Gave extreme chills. I can relate to Daisy and the relationship with her sons. I can also relate to not wanting to explore new when the old and no longer has passed. Love this.
Sweet story of a possible love connection over age 50. They are so compatible but she is very afraid - is she supposed to find love again, will her sons accept a new man; so many challenges that she is immobilized by it, and declines to move ahead.
