This is the 6th and final book in the series and I was incredibly excited and lucky to have been an ARC reader for each one!
This was a love triangle that I wasn’t sure how it was gonna end but I knew Dori was in for a ride!
She was in the hands of dangerous people and Hunter, Aiden and Jamison had to work to get her home safely!
Can Dori have her HEA??? Or is she doomed to a life of misery and heartache!

I cannot believe I'm a the end of this series. I've been hooked on Dori, Jami, and Hunter since book 1, Playing to Lose. To say this series took me on a roller coaster ride is an understatement.

In Playing for Keeps, we finally see who Dori ends up with in the continual back and forth between Jami and Hunter. I will NOT be spoiling that answer for anyone. I will say that I was Team Jami since book 2, when Hunter showed his true colors, but Hunter did redeem himself for me and well...

As with the previous books, Dori finds herself in a bit of a situation again, but this one was not of her own making. With all the cliffhangers from the previous books, I have to admit that I was very concerned where author Brooke Reign was going to go with Dori's situation.

When I started the series, I wasn't too impressed with Dori and her continual flip flopping between Hunter and Jami. I felt she was immature and didn't deserve either of them. I was assured by the author (in her Facebook group) that Dori would evolve throughout the series and I would l change my mind by book 6. That did in fact occur and I liked Dori and the way she evolved throughout the series. That is true about Hunter, too. I disliked him from book 2 on when he was manipulative with Dori, but he also had an evolution in the past few books. It was interesting to see how that continued to play out in this book.

There was so much going on in this story...the relationship Dori has with Jami and Hunter, Dori and Jami's relationship with Aiden, the plot involving Hunter's mom and Isabella...everything was wrapped up with neat little bows by the end of the book.

Was I surprised with the way things worked out in the end?
Yes and no.

Do I recommend this book?
Yes, I highly recommend the entire series.

I wholeheartedly look forward to reading more books by Brooke Reign. The fact that I didn't need a complete reread of all the previous books in the series as each new one was released can tell you how much I enjoyed the books and was able to easily recall the storylines even with months between books.

This is one hot and spicy rather nicely penned story by the great Brooke Reign . I mean it’s so yummy ,it’s insane. When two blokes who hate each other are together teaming up for the one woman ? Oh my ,maybe now you can see what I say is truth . It’s ecstasy! So HOT ! Strewth! It’s such a hot storyline .i wanted one then the other of them to be mine . So here we are Dori has been abducted and this springs the boys to interactions ,joining together for one ultimate goal saving the woman they love. Wow so which one will she choose for keeps. Are you like me ,been losing sleep for the answer to this quandary ? Well this book is reckoning time and it’s explosively judgement time . The day of reckoning and it’s sublime . I’m not telling who gets the girl at last ,just for your information . I had a blast reading this ,it was absolute bliss! Aiden and Jami and Hunter are joined together to hunt her . The love triangle angle is at an end. And wow what a finish! It’s delish! Brilliantly penned ! The storyline has been divine and edge of your seat heat throughout this series and ooh it has appeased so much ! It has the right touch ,it’s real feel and hot. I kid you not . This is sublime reading. Excellent writing ,ever so inviting and fresh ,happening and inspiring. I’m perspiring it’s so hmmm hot. Brooke Reign . I thank you for an excellent reading journey and look forward to the next . Soon? This made me swoon.

I couldn’t wait for this book to come out and now that it’s here, all I have to say is wow! This final book in the series ties just about everything up nicely. Though I felt like the first third of this book was like putting a puzzle together, when it finally did come together, the resolution was satisfying and complete. All the characters had tremendous character growth and all had complete endings to their involvement in this story. The happily ever after ending was sweet and so gratifying because the main female and male characters finally find their way and get some peace. And the main female character ends up with my favorite choice in this love triangle, so I’m super happy about that! The overall secondary story that runs along with the love triangle story gets its ending too even though it quickly comes to a head and then just disappears. I would have liked to know a little bit more about what happened to the characters on that side of the story and see them get the punishment that they so deserved, but ultimately we are here for the main characters’ love triangle story. Great series, fantastic characters, and an epic rollercoaster of a love triangle! Now that all the books are here, I might just have to go back and reread from the first book to enjoy it all over again!.

Playing For Keeps is the sixth book in the Lucky Rivals series. This series has taken us on quite the ride and we finally make it to the end, which is a happily ever after it did not appear would ever come about. There is a lot of redemption happening in this book and it was good to see. There were also many secrets that come to light that make for interesting impacts on relationships.

Though the book is heavy on the drama, there are enough twists, suspense, action, betrayals, steamy romantic moments, and even a little humor to keep you enthralled and turning the pages. While I thoroughly enjoyed the series, I am glad that book six brings the Jami (Jamison), Dori (Dorothy), and Hunter triangle to a happy ending. Their back and forth could give you whiplash! Perhaps the next series could delve into another love triangle between Aiden, Mel (Melanie), and Jonah. That could be downright explosive!

The book would have rated five stars, but it felt like a few things were glossed over or not sufficiently reconciled, especially during the abduction, Aiden's past, the mob connection, and Isabella.

Playing For Keeps is a heart-pounding, gripping, fast-paced, page-turner, billionaire boss and brother's best friend love-triangle romance! This is the final book in the series with an amazing HEA that I am here for!

This books starts off with Dori being in the hands of pure evil people!! And I love how the final book picks up right where Book 5 left off and somehow (although it seems unlikely) we will still end up with a HEA. To rescue Dori (all the men in her life must work together to save her – this may or may not go well at times) but in the end it’s so worth it. It would be great to know a little more about what happens to the evil people once they were caught (maybe a future novella) because this one definitely turned out to be exactly what I wanted and so much more!

This series is such a great read and I highly recommend it! The love triangle and the angst that Brooke writes is beyond good. I had a hard time in the beginning trying to understand who I wanted Dori to end up with Jami, the handsome brother’s best friend who she was forbidden to be with or Hunter, the equally handsome billionaire boss who due to her contract she shouldn’t be with. All six books are such an amazing journey with crazy cliffhangers at the end of each one (some more than others). I am so grateful to have been a part of this journey with this author and know that she is going to go far and be very successful! I can’t wait to read what she has in store for us next.

"Playing for Keeps" by Brooke Reign is the 6th and final book in the Lucky Rivals series. This book was fast paced and makes you want to keep reading.
Dori is fighting for her life due to Hunter and Aiden. As the boys do everything that they can to bring her back they have to work through a lot of baggage. When they get Dori back so knows that she can't live without one of them and makes a decision that impacts her life. Jami is happy that he has Dori back in his life and will do anything to keep it that way. As Dori, Hunter, and Jami all work through their issues they are finally able to figure out what is best for all of them.
This book was a great ending to the series! Highly recommend this book and the whole series.

What a finale! This last book in the series was wild. I cannot believe Hunter used her as bait—and Aiden actually agreed and deceived everyone about it?! But then… Hunter giving her up for his and her growth? I loved that. So mature, such a full-circle moment.

This book definitely took a more criminal/mystery turn in the first half, which was a really interesting shift. And that HEA? So worth all the struggles throughout the series. I'm so happy there's finally a baby too!

But now I need to know—what happens to Hunter, besides him returning to some of his old ways? And Jonah and Mel?! And Aiden?! There’s so much potential for another series! I was really hoping Jonah and Mel would end up together… maybe there’s still hope?

I am happy but sad that this is the last book of the series. I don’t know if I had another cliffhanger in me. The cliffhangers were so intense.
With it being the last book in the series there was so much to get through to wrap up the story but Brooke didn’t disappoint at all. Everything was written incredibly, not one part of the story was missed out.
The ending was so good and without giving too much away and giving spoilers OMG they go through so much together. Jamie and Hunter join forces for a short period of time along with her brother and best friend to overcome a huge problem that has happened due to Hunters mother. Even bigger plot twist when it comes to that moment too and all I can say is PLEASE read the entire series and you will love it as much I do

After the last 5 books of Dori's bumpy ride with the last book leaving her in the clutches of Hunter's deranged mother. This book answers all the questions and fills in voids that you don't even know you need. The roller coaster is just as rough as the last books. I love the development of all the characters as they progress through their lives. With all the twists and turns i was glad to finally find out the reason Aiden forbid Dori and Jamison to be together,but it was not what I expected. I am sad to see this series be at the end but I love the way it ended and recommend everyone to read this series. But be for warned you will not want to put these books down they keep you on your toes!

The final installment of Dori Jami and Hunters story we were left on a cliffhanger with Dori in Hunters mother and Isabelles clutches not knowing Hunter and Aiden set up a trap for his mother and Isabelle which has gone wrong Jami knows nothing but has to work with Aiden and Hunter to find him . Things come out which turns things on their head about Doris family and puts a rift between Aiden and Dori .
There's so much comes out. But I got the couple I was rooting for from start

The first part of the book was so suspenseful! I could not read fast enough to find out how it would end. It kept me on the edge of my seat!

I was happy to read that Dori got together with the one I hoped for from book 1! Their HEA was more that beautiful and so well deserved! It was the perfect ending!

I loved this series! It was a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings but it was a joy to read!

Well that escalated quickly!!!
Wow I was not expecting the whole first half of that book! Lots of suspense and angst.
I’m so happy with Dori’s decisions regarding Jami. They belong together.
I love how the book ties everything together. I didn’t notice any loose ends anyway. Well except for Mel and Jonah… I want to know more about that story!!!
I loved the ending of the book! Finally a HEA for pretty much everyone I think!
Great series… 6 books might seem long to some people but I promise you that book 5 and 6 make it worth it!

Everyone underestimated Hunter’s mother—including Hunter himself! What happened in Chapter One completely blew me away. And Sasha… who is she, and how do we even begin to describe meeting her? My heart broke for her. I’m hoping we get a follow-up, maybe a novella with updates. Aiden needs his story told, and so does Melanie! This third book in the series was filled with tense moments and powerful transformations. So much growth, so many surprises. Be sure to read the series in order to appreciate the journey fully.

Choice Made

This heart pounding conclusion was intense and full of suspense. It was a race of adrenaline as the plot started with a revelation that was shocking yet not unexpected. Jamison, Hunter and Aiden coming together was tense yet wonderfully written. The character growth was especially satisfying by the end of this book for them all, including the strength exhibited from Dori. I could not put it down and enjoyed the epilogue.

Wow. Just wow. This whole series kept me on the edge of my seat, and the first half of this book certainly maintained that pace. And then Brooke Reign did a fabulous job closing the series out. Dory gets her HEA, and I'm there for it! I love it.

There are characters that I hope will get theirs, and I am kinda hoping there will be spin-off series to cover those characters, but only time will tell, I guess...

And I have always been, and will continue to be Team Jamison!.

This is the culmination to the series and brings closure in a big way. It is filled with twists and turns that kept me glued to the characters as the suspense kept me guessing what is going to happen next. The last of the series and it’s a humdinger of a read. Doris’s life is in peril but her rescuers each have their own secrets including revelations about her brother (FBI agent) that left me gasping. Will Dori be able to settle with the love of her life and get her hea? Jami and Hunter called truce of some sorts, their main concern being Dori. Riveting, exciting and a good ending to the series. Loved Mel and her ballsy attitude and how she was able to control 3 men that were out of control.

I absolutely loved this love triangle series!! All the twist and turns off the story. I probably went through a box of tissues during this series. I loved the growth of everyone. Not just Dori, Hunter and Jami but Aiden too. I loved Jonah and Mel, and not just their chemistry but their personalities. I'm looking forward to the future books by this brilliant author. And without saying who she picked I'm very happy with the ending. All in all she's with who she's absolutely perfect for. 💚🥰

This is a romance book as well as a series by Brooke that everybody needs to have in their kindle reading. I found this book to be a 5/5 star read and completely 110% engaging with some really awesome characters. I suggest you start reading this book and see exactly why I loved reading it from beginning to end.

I am at a loss for words as I try to consider how to express how much of a roller coaster and emotional turn in and out i felt while reading this series and the final book!! The amazing part was the end a i loved the one she ended up with but oh boy! I was conflicted all through. This was an amazing series and Brooke definitely wrote a masterpiece! 💯 recommend!
