Chrissie has smashed it out of the park once again with the latest installment, Lost and Forever, in the Finding Forever series. Ace Bowman is the man I've been DYING to read about and this did not disappoint! He's been a firm favourite of mine since the beginning, so getting his story was highly anticipated!
I absolutely adored Elodie and felt she was very relatable! Seeing their relationship blossom was everything 🥹
The character development was wonderful. Chrissie has a way of making you feel that you really know these characters. I wish I was part of their friendship group!

I have enjoyed all of her other books & this was no exception.
This is without a doubt my favourite in the series. Totally worth the sacrificed sleep.
When I tell you I blushed… I BLUSHED, he wanted her so much.
ACE!! Has always been the favourite for me & I couldn’t wait to read his book. I didn’t think I could love him anymore but then he picked up a book and became a reader.
The way he went into the book shop had me laughing… silly clumsy man
& Elodie… flipping loved her, when she was feeling insecure because of her bastard ex I just wanted to hug her and tell her she was enough.

I always knew that I was going to love this book as I’ve been a massive Ace fan throughout the series, but wow what an amazing book!
This series is by far my favourite found family series. It’s so well written that you become invested in all the characters and reading about them getting their HEA felt like you were on the journey with them.
This book was the perfect balance of humour, emotions ,drama and romance, I laughed out loud at some points and cried three times.
If you are a fan of the found family trope and are looking for a story with depth and feeling then this is definitely a must read for you.

WOW, where do I even start? I’ve known since the minute this book was announced that it was going to be 5 stars. Ace Bowman could be one of my favourite characters ever written, I’m gonna need 500 more books about him. I’ve loved him as a character in every single book in this series so far, I feel like each book we see a different side of him and I love it. I also really loved Elodie, she was so relatable and I really enjoyed seeing her character develop as her relationship with herself healed. I adore the way that Chrissie writes, it’s so addictive and it gets me in my feels. She never fails to make me cry when reading her books. If you take anything from this review is that you NEED to read this series!!

After a bad start to life Ace manages to raise himself and his brother Jax (Novella Stripped for his story) into the kindest and most loving, caring men. Until his world is tipped upside, again.
Elodie, the quiet librarian who is very much a lone wolf chooses to take matters into her own hands. Little does she know it was probably the best decision of her life because what happens next no one can predict. Much like Ace, Rlodie didn’t have the best time growing up, not through family but through a rough relationship.
On that, the story between the two of them is so gripping and just fills you with more love and joy than anyone is ready for. The story is beautifully written (as always). The characters are loveable in their own way and all care so deeply for each other. Knowing the author, I know that this book holds a very big place in her heart and contains a lot of references many can relate to.
I would say this has to be my all time fave of the series so far and if I could recommend a book based on the emotional connection, the quality of the story, the meanings hidden within the book - this would be that book by far. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would absolutely do so.
This was such a perfect read, thank you C.Smith for putting your time, effort, love and talent into a book for us all to get lost within and feel the feelings in a safe way. You’re well on your way to best seller💙💛

SO! First, let me just say this series has had me by the throat pinned to a wall! Chrissies writing is genuinely amazing! She writes the most amazing characters!
Lost and found is the third book in the finding forever series! Ace is the type of man who will do anything. Him and milo made my heart so full! Ace in the romance book shop absolutely killed me😂 I love the way Ace makes Elodie feel comfortable as a curvy FMC genuinely is just what every thick girl wants. The need for each other is genuinely adorable. She feels unseen but he sees every inch of her. I genuinely felt it deep with the relationship with Ace and his family. Milo has my heart! Fluffy family members hit close to home! I’m so ready for the rest of the books in this series!

This is probably the best book, in my own opinion.. For the year 2025, for me 😎
Not only it is a Ace's story, the sweet, hot, clumsy goofball with a massive golden retriever energy you ever know 😁
Here you get to know him even better And if i can tell you, this guy is 😭😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰🥰And He is a firefighter, so another plus..
But it was also Elodie, fmc in this book, who was close to my heart the entire time.. Because, Well.. She is me... Like character And i know most of the girls find theirselfs in her, but since I was reading it, Then it now About me, sorry.
There was a chapters i couldnt read properly, because of tears, all those chapters was Elodie's, even words matches mine own words, and I didnt wrote them.
Story is a lot About mental health, which is amazing, since its the topic we have to talk always, its also About love, friendships.
But it have also a little darkish aspects And it was resfreshing, unexpected (i mean the situations) but we already know, that Bowman boys, didnt had everything in light colors when they was younger, so the past make a appearance..
And now k need to stop, because no spoilers here 😎
I loved the book, i still love it, even when my heart, soul And eyes hurt, while i was reading, somehow i was read The book in the time that my mental health is really not good,but this book was a bit a therapy to me.
Chrissie, thank you so much for writing this beautiful story, Well, whole Finding forever series, but this story especially, i know what happend And how you struggled in the beginnings of writing this book,and I know its still fresh but you did an amazing job at the end And im so proud of you And appriciate you💜💜💙

Back to Meadowside we go! This time we follow Ace and Elodie on their journey to finding love! It covers all bases- it’s emotional, it’s funny, it’s heartbreaking and it’s spicy AF!
Ace has probably been one of my favourite characters of the Finding Forever series. He’s sweet, funny, has a huge heart and a tragic past. Chrissie portrays him perfectly- flaws and all. Elodie is a complex character who lacks self confidence and self esteem due to an abusive relationship. The way Ace builds up her confidence and makes her feel seen is amazing and written in a lovely way!
The writing style is dual POV, straight forward and makes for easy reading. The chapter pages are beautifully decorated with flowers which are lovely. The dual POV makes for excellent reading in building the relationship and the mutual pining!
The spicy scenes were perfection! Ace and Elodie are freaks in the sheets…that’s all I’m saying…gotta read it to find out for yourself 😏😏
The only thing I thought was lacking was the epilogue- yes it was sweet- yes it was the ending I wanted. But, it seemed to just end! That being said…everyone loves a HEA and healed protagonists so it worked out nicely!

Ace has been spiraling out of control after the break up with his ex-girlfriend Lily. In an attempt to finally get closure, he sets out to get answers from Lily's best friend, the shy librarian Elodie. What starts out as a simple plan to charm information out of Elodie, quickly turns into more. There are so many layers to Elodie and Ace wants to peel them back one by one. How long will they be able to ignore the sparks flying between them?
Eeeeek!! I've been waiting for Ace's story since "Lost and Found" and I just knew I was going to love him so much 🥹🥰. Their story is really special and Ace so very patient with the introverted Elodie, who has had her fair share of trauma in her past and therefore needs a bit longer to let Ace in fully. "Lost and Forever" is full of tender, yet laugh out loud moments (it's Ace we're talking about). It's full of heart and found family like all the books in the series. If you like positive plus size rep, adorable golden retriever MMCs, salty but caring FMCs, small towns and spice, then put this series on your TBR.
"Lost and Forever" can be read as a standalone, but I recommend to read the series in order for maximum enjoyment!!

The one I’ve been waiting for, our boy Ace! We’ve been edged with teases of him through multiple books already (if you haven’t read all of Chrissies books what are you waiting for!?!) and boy this was everything and more, I laughed, cried and blushed.
Ace and Elodies story has been written so beautifully and we are taken on an emotional journey of chaos, healing, acceptance and a deep connection between two people. The characters are so relatable and loveable, neither one of them had the best start in life and it has left it scars- both physical and mental- on both of them. Elodie’s loneliness really hit hard but boy the way Ace made her feel seen was incredible. Ace’s heartbreak and search for answers only to get so much more from the quiet, introverted librarian.
The found family that all the characters of the series has formed is absolute perfection, I just wish Meadowside was a real place. This series has had me hooked from the start and holds a special place in my bookshelves! Chris’s you have outdone yourself with Ace and Elodie’s story and I cannot wait for what comes next.

Wow!!! C.smith has done it again wrote a beautiful book! Ace has been a popular character ever since book one! And I love all of the characters in these books, but Ace is something special and unique…and I couldn’t wait to read his story!
And lost and forever didn’t disappoint. This book was everything, ace was hurt and lost at the beginning of this book which isn’t who he normally is. And when he seeks answers the last thing he thought was that he would end up getting attached to the woman he wanted the answers from!
The characters in the book were written absolutely fantastic. I loved ace from the start but in this one you got to see more sides of him which I adored.
As for Elodie she was amazing! I related so much to her character, she came off as rude and cold, but in reality she was just lonely and didn’t know how to be around people, she was fun, she was grumpy, but she was also kind, strong and loyal to those who she barely knew, I just loved her!
And them together were phenomenal 🥰 the chemistry, the flirting and they just balanced each other out.
C.smith really has amazing ways at writing the most beautiful phases and words, this book made laugh and swoon but also cry in the best way.

As for Elodie she was amazing! I related so much to her character, she came off as rude and cold, but in reality she was just lonely and didn’t know how to be around people, she was fun, she was grumpy, but she was also kind, strong and loyal to those who she barely knew, I just loved her!
And them together were phenomenal 🥰 the chemistry, the flirting and they just balanced each other out.
C.smith really has amazing ways at writing the most beautiful phases and words, this book made laugh and swoon but also cry in the best way.

Ace is an absolutely swoon worthy, golden retriever, ray of sunshine!
Elodie is a curvaceous, shy, storm raging beneath the surface!
I found these two as a couple absolutely fascinating. Opposites attracted & pulling out the absolute best qualities in each other. Testament to the fact that the right person will love you for who you are, for all your quirks & ‘flaws’.
I absolutely loved the references to Elodie enjoying smutty books & them becoming a firm favourite with Ace too. Definitely a girl after my own heart & there is no shame in enjoying a spicy book! 🌶️ The fact that this one has lots of spicy content was a big plus!
Dual POV is always a firm favourite style for me so I became invested quickly exploring each other’s perspectives.
I am beyond grateful to have received this book as an arc. I haven’t read this series in order, having first read mistletoe & mayhem which I absolutely loved! I have Stipped on my physical TBR & the first two books on my kindle. I can’t wait to read them.

I've loved all of C. Smith's books and just knew that Ace's book would be up there as one of my favourites and it did not disappoint. Reading some of his POVs in Mistletoe & Mayhem gave us a sneak peak into his cheekiness and it continued through into his story with so much more.
I was crying along with him in chapter 3 and laughing out loud with him on the bathroom floor. The storytelling is phenomenal, taking us through all of the emotions.
Elodie's story is powerful and one that I resonate with and understand so much as a bigger girl, it's not often we see or hear this side in a novel so it was emotional for me to read thoughts that had been in my head before.
The spice was there, well written but not the main focus. The dream scene was brilliant. We need more Mav!
I didn't want to put it down and can't wait to read the rest of the families stories

Oh My Days!
I flipping adored this book!!! It made me laugh and kick my feet with excitement, but it also cracked open my heart in parts and pulled out some ugly tears, so do check the TWs, despite this book being on the lighter side of romance.
Elodie Muffin Hart, there are parts of every woman written into the fabric of your being. Thank you for being such a beautiful soul a survivor. Ace Sunshine Bowman, you are the absolute definition of sunshine personified, and you read smut!!! Come take a seat in my top 5 "Golden Retriever MMCs" of all time.
Beautifully written in British English with lovable, chaotic, if not clumsy characters and with all the dry British humour to boot. Some parts of the book are downright hilarious, and I pretty much smiled throughout. 🖤

Another amazing addition to the Finding Forever series. C.Smith really knows how to write likeable characters and with Ace she didn't disappoint.
If there's ever anyone who deserves to find love it's Ace especially after his breakup with Lily leaves him utterly heartbroken. Shock definitely comes as the truth is finally revealed about why things went down the way they did.
Ace is such a loveable character and he really is a ray of sunshine and you can't help but not like him.
Elodie was very relatable and I connected with her on a deeper level. Together they were the perfect blend of sunshine and rain, she loved him throughout all his chaos and he helped her see how lovable she truly was.
I could definitely get on board with Ace's dream too 😏😏.

Lost and Forever is the story of Ace and Elodie.
Ace Bowman is easily one of my most favourite fictional humans ♥️ He is pure sunshine and rainbows and I absolutely adore him. Elodie is the most relatable character I’ve read in a long time. My heart breaks for her in the beginning especially because I’ve had all those same thoughts of insecurity and loneliness 💔 I love seeing these two grow and flourish both together and individually.
The writing in this book (and this series) is so addicting. The quick wit, the laughs, the emotion. Hot tip, don’t read this book in public. From experience, you’ll end up looking like a weirdo while you sob over your book 😂

Wow another amazing book in the Finding Forever series by C Smith.
I love this series and can’t wait for more, I prefer these books over the Elsie Silver Chestnut Springs series as there’s more love, drama and SPICE in them.
Ace is my favorite character out of them all, he’s just an all round amazing guy who’s funny even when he doesn’t mean to be (and soooo clumsy which makes him even funnier, the bathroom scene had me in stitches 😂).
I’ve never cried over a book before but Chapter 46 had me in tears. My emotions while reading this book were like a rollercoaster, the highs and the lows throughout had me hooked.

Ace had his heart broken when he saw a video of Lily cheating on him. And he's never had closure. Elodie is Lily's best friend and has loved Ace from afar for years. When Ace turns to her to try and get the answers he desperately wants he finds himself falling hard and fast for Elodie.
I have been (not so) patiently waiting for Ace's story since I started reading this series. I knew it was going to be my favourite and it totally was! Ace is such a loveable character, not matter what he does. He had me laughing out loud so many times! I felt a connection to Elodie straight away. She puts on a tough girl facade to protect herself from getting hurt again when really all she wants is someone to love her for her. They are total opposites but their differences make their relationship work so much better.

I knew I would love Ace from the first time he showed up in Lost and Found. After hearing his story I love him even more.
Elodie and Ace were fantastic. I loved how he was the sunshine to her storm.
I loved everything about this and absolutely devoured Lost and Forever!! This series is one that also makes me smile.
Tears may have been shed again but C. Smith has a way with words and I always get emotional over her stories!! I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

The Maverick scene though (iykyk)... had me kicking and screaming 🤣 I know Mav will get his own story, likely with Georgie, but I'd be lying if I said I couldn't see him jumping back into Ace and Elodies lives 😏

As with all the other books. I feel I know all the characters I can relate to every one of them. This author has an ability of making you understand that person. Picking up on all sorts of difficulties we all live and face everyday. She’s sensitive and caring Love the writing , the book just flows. Can’t wait for the next one. Xx

And I have loved every minute of it Ace and Elodie go through so much there are some shocking events that happen but the ending is just perfect i love knowing life 5 years later for them it feels like a glimpse in to their happily ever after. Lost and forever is my favourite from the collection so far.

Wow, Chrissie has absolutely knocked it out of the park with the latest installment, *Lost and Forever*, in the Finding Forever series! I've been eagerly waiting to dive into Ace Bowman's story, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Ace has been one of my absolute favorites since the very start, so this was a highly anticipated read for me.
I completely adored Elodie—she is so relatable and wonderfully written! Watching her relationship with Ace blossom was everything I hoped for as their start wasn’t easy by any means! This book is a must-read, packed with emotion and excitement!

I was so lucky to get to read this early. I absolutely love the whole series. I have loved Ace in every book, but to get to see his story and finally find out what happened between him and Lily 😍😍😍
I have fallen in love with each male character in this series and novellas.

This small town romance was a sweet story about second chances, family and love. It has a lot of banter, push and pull between main characters, which I totally enjoyed. Meet Ace and Elodie in this lovely story and see what is happening when they try to avoid each other😁🤫😋.

I adored this book, but then I always knew I’d love Ace’s story. He was everything I knew he’d be and more. Elodie is one of my favourite FMC’s ever, I found her so relatable and she has such a beautiful soul. Thank you for allowing me to read this 🖤
