I’m Jillian Cypress, an elder millennial living in Louisville, Kentucky, with my two kids, my husband, and our demonic cat.

I’m an avid reader (obviously), self-published author, and office manager at a manufacturing company. My husband and I also run a small carpentry business—he handles the building, and I manage the paperwork. I graduated from the University of Louisville with a BS in Theater Arts (yes, a BS in theater—take that however you like).

When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I’m reading, writing, making art, or drinking way too much coffee. I also volunteer at my kids’ school, helping with the musical. It’s incredibly rewarding, even if it’s not how college me imagined using that degree
