When it came time for Kendrick “XL” Patton to pick between life and death, he chose me.

These Patton men have a penchant for finding women who have a lot of ish going on with them don’t they? When XL happened upon Zhara, he knew what he had to do, until she told him her prognosis, stopping him in his tracks. Who tells someone that when their life is in the balance? Zhara that’s who. She had nothing to lose anyway, so why not the truth? It was telling how XL quickly came up with the idea to save Zhara’s life. He was a huge teddy bear underneath his large exterior, who wanted someone to love and care for.
Keeping this under wraps from his cousins was a whole job, but he knew it was his duty to protect Zhara while in treatment. Then things started to go awry, and the family is being attacked from all sides. Who is behind this, and why? I should have known that this hatin’ ass person was behind it all!! Ughhhh….. 🤬😤 Nice read.

Kendrick XL Patton
Baby, Kendrick was that man! I knew or had a feeling about what he'd done but I'm so glad he did. Amir, nor Ashan could be mad because they all had their "little secrets" about handling certain things. Zahra was so good for the last Patton boy, and I just knew we we're going to get a baby out of them too, but it looks like Nerissa and Amir is populating the next generation of Pattons. I'm glad that Zahra let her wall down and officially let XL in because it was obvious these two were made for each other. Zoya...once again, it's your family you have to watch. She was literally trying to ruin everyone's life behind Demario. We'll now she somewhere flowing in the atmosphere. All in all, a solid series that I wouldn't mind an update on. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Angel Investor
Even an enforcer has a conscious and he needs romantic love too💕 …I guess🤷🏾♀️🤭⁉️ Nevertheless, “A Gangsta’s Love Language: A Patton Brothers Spin Off - Book 3” was an opportunity to experience the kinder, gentler & compassionate side of XL the Angel investor with gangsta some tendencies once provoked. However, as mentioned in the other two “Patton Brothers” book reviews, their enterprise had entirely too many people & potential fractures for the criminal organization to be effective and or sustainable without collateral damages, causalities by affiliation and financial repercussions. …Otherwise, who would have predicted both Zahra & XL found love’s angel investor on a Mojave Desert road to forever🫣😘‼️

XL has to be the sweetest gangsta. His heart was as big as he was. He was ruthless when he needed to be, but his shorter side shined just as bright. Meeting Zahra by accident and not killing her changed his life. She told him to go ahead and kill her because she was dying anyway. XL's interest was piqued and he needed to know more. Deciding to marry her to save her life was saving his life as well.
This was a beautiful story of finding love and holding on to it!

Loved It
Thanks for giving bus a book with Kendrick AKA XL, he deserved find love and happiness, just as Ahsan and Amir! Zhara was perfect for XL, she needed to be reminded that she was worthy of all things, even love! XL and Zhara meeting was unconventional, but they were meant to be together, through there ups and downs! I also enjoyed the other couples from previous books being a part of this story as well! The epilogue was beautiful!

Love Language
I am a true lover of love languages for sure. XL and Zahra both needed something when they met and fate brought it to them. Their start was conventional but the journey just as beautiful. The thing I like most was the way XL never hide his feelings for her. He never pretended like she wasn't it for him. I liked the way she tried to protect him even if it hurt her. Overall nice to catch up with the Patton brothers!

Kendrick is definitely a character. I have never experienced before. The way he took on the responsibly to ensure Zara has a purpose to live was truly inspiring. Kendrick encouraged Zara to not only live for the relationship but for also herself. And to top it all off not only is he chunky but he is a man that knows how to throw down in the kitchen. I love his bond with his cousins/brothers. He definitely seems like the mature one out of the group.

Poor Zahra felt like life had dealt her a terrible fate and in the trunk of Kendrick's car she was ready to be done with life. One look at her XL knew he couldn't take her life! They forged a marriage built on need but in the end they found true love! Zyon was a piece of work but she met with her karma speedily! I loved it, those Patton men love fiercely and without apology! Great read!

Kendrick (XL) had no plans to be involved with someone but things happen and look at him now he have a wife. Zahra didn't know being knocked out and put in side a trunk would be her saving grace but he saved her life married her so she could have medical insurance and they fell I love in the process. Zayon deserved everything she got.

Loved this one. It was so good!!!!
Kendrick “XL” never thought he would settle down. Well when he finds out Zahra needs some major surgery for a rare blood condition he decides to marry her so she can get the treatments.
Both fall hard. But there are so many obstacles in the way.

through sickness and health
I think I like this story the best it shows you that love can grow on you if you just open your heart in your mind it also shows you that health can scare you and make you push people away, but if you truly love them and trust God in it, he will take care of you. I’m a personal testimony of that now I’m 15 years.

Love for XL 😍
I started to wonder about XL. I'm happy that he has a book. It was wonderful to read, and I enjoyed XL and Zahra's love story. Zahra's loss was devastating. I'm so happy that they all have found their person after the loss of their grandmother.

Ok read
I liked the interaction between Kendrick and Zahra, but they seemed more friends than lovers. I did like that some answers were provided in this book that was left off in book 1 and 2. Still not sure why Sienna was left in the dark about her cousin’s shadiness. This one needed more romance and less other stuff.

What good love will do for you!

I loved Kendricks and Zara’s story their story started different but it ended with both falling hard for each other…the story followed the first two books so you weren’t lost with the storyline while still telling XL’s and Zahras journey to love

Great read
Great ending to an already good series. CL was the quiet one who just did for the family. Not this time though, he took his own feelings and wants and made them a reality. The way he went behind Zahra showed he was the lover gangsta of the three.
