This is a great book with some interesting recipes and a nice backstory on how exactly a green smoothie cleanse works. It's a bit different from a typical smoothie in the way that it focuses more on leafy green vegetables and less on fruit (though you are able to add some if you so desire). I like how I am able to read it on my Kindle, which can easily accompany me to the grocery store as I search for ingredients.
This is a great guide on how to use smoothies to cleanse your body to give it a fresh and clean start. It is set up for a ten day program and uses veggies and fruits and even some nuts to do it. Ten days is pretty easy to accomplish and there are a lot of good ideas and tips in this book on how to make the smoothies better as well as great recipes to use. I have tried a few of these so far, and plan to work my way through them.
Overall I think this has some great recipes and some good advice on making smoothies and the ones that I have tried taste great so I'm happy with this e-book as a whole. I like that it is a quick and easy read and doesn't try to over complicate things by giving you too much information and bogging you down with all this extra stuff that you won't retain, I think it is a nice balance of info and recipes. 3.25 Stars This ebook is not long, but it's organized well, the ingredients are easy to find, and the instructions are easy to follow. All of the recipes are made with natural and/or healthy ingredients. The book includes about 35 recipes. The Pina Colada one is tasty and I look forward to trying the almond butter and jelly (made with real fruit) concoction as well.
