The sequel to Blade Dancer - an exciting read. It was quick-paced, witty, and nearly interactive. There were times when I wanted to jump into the book and beat some sect leaders and humans. Now that the Dessa world has become familiar, and I didn't have to re-read certain parts to understand the layout, I zipped through this book with relish! Thanks K.M. Tolan. Looking forward to part three, Defiant Dancer.
A pretty decent sequel, though I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did Blade Dancer. It certainly seemed (in my opinion, anyway) that things became very disjointed shortly after Mikial meets the Me'Aukins for the first time. It came together near the end of the book, but...
