Gracie Andrews never expected to wake up as a vampire—or in the arms of Viktor, the dangerously powerful clan leader who stirs a hunger in her she’s never felt before. From the moment he saves her, their connection is undeniable, a pull neither of them can resist.
Viktor has ruled for centuries with unwavering control, but Gracie is unlike anyone he’s ever known—fiery, stubborn, and utterly intoxicating. She challenges him at every turn, making him crave her in ways he never thought possible. And when she whispers that she loves him, he knows he’ll never let her go.
But as a rogue vampire threatens their world, Viktor must protect what’s his. And Gracie? She’s ready to stand by his side, proving that love—like power—is something worth fighting for.
A passionate, pulse-pounding romance where fate is undeniable, desire is eternal, and surrender is just the beginning.
USA Today™ best-selling author Elizabeth Lennox writes contemporary romance novels featuring sheiks, business tycoons, royalty, and other sexy rich men. Her male lead characters are smart, driven and determined, but can still be sensitive and vulnerable. Elizabeth’s female lead characters come from a variety of backgrounds. They are strong, intelligent and independent, while still feminine and caring.
Although she wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a reality for her in 2009 and a full time job in 2012. Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.
I really enjoyed reading Elizabeth's first foray into vampire paranormal romance! It was so much fun to experience her perspective of what vampires would be like if they existed in our world! The plot line was gripping, and the romance between Gracie and Viktor was so much fun to watch and so hot! Trigger warnings will be more abundant in this book because of the nature of paranormal romance with vampires; TW's include: bløød drinking (duh, it's vampires!), bad guys doing bad things to people for fun: kidnappings, involuntary confinement, purposeful hurting of people, involuntary transformations to vampire, and un-alivings (some on-page, some off-page); one instance of DV (off-page, remembered but not in much detail); talk of FMC's past unhealthy/toxic relationship; and other mild viølence in pursuit of justice (on-page). If these things bother you, then please skip this book; no book is worth your mental health. If you enjoy fast-paced, easy-to-read, vampire paranormal romance that is more heavy on the romance than the suspense/mystery, then this book is for you! Since characters and plot points from the previous book make an appearance and/or are mentioned in "Viktor's Temptation", I highly recommend you start at the beginning of the series to get the most enjoyment possible. So go grab your copy of "Jace's Mate" right now and get reading!
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a fair, and honest, review!
Centuries of waiting, now Viktor found love. Wowser, Gracie Andrews is a tough lady. As a surgical Nurse, she’s used to blood & guts, but when she finds herself shackled, force fed blood, then in excruciating pain, it’s more than she can take. Except, somehow, she survives and is rescued by Lord Viktor Rastan, the main man of the East Coast Territory. Viktor is livid…who is making vampires in his territory without his permission? Then there’s the mystery: who’s killing groups of nine humans at a time? It looks like they are trying to make vampires but failing miserably. Viktor feels a connection to Gracie, and soon she is reciprocating. I love how centuries-old Victor is taking Gracie under his guidance…training her how to use all her new abilities. She finally feels loved and respected, and Viktor feels …could this be love? In tracking down the evil vampires, Viktor gets help from the secret alliance he’s formed with Jace, leader of the werewolves (from Book 1), and Sorcia, the leader of the eastern coven. I love the strong, caring characters in this story. The happy-ever-after is fantastic. Elizabeth’s Vampires are the good guys. I enjoy some paranormal stories because I read for entertainment, and I love how the big bad wolf, vampire, or Alien falls hard for a regular lady and cares for her above everything else. Linda
Elizabeth Lennox’s second step into paranormal focuses on the leader of the Vampire Clan of the East Coast, Viktor, from Jace’s Mate. Sensing danger on the way home, Viktor investigates only to have a woman wake up in his arms, who was turned into a vampire against her will. He is intrigued by this woman, who does not want to drink blood, but can’t help it. Her memories of her turning are gone except for the flashes she gets. Viktor wants to protect her and keep her safe while attempting to find the man who did this to her. And teach her the ways of the vampire. He can’t help but be drawn to this sweet, kind, tough-as-nails nurse, but doesn’t want to start anything until she is ready. The sparks can not be denied on either side ,and passion burns. When he finds who did this to her, they will face dire consequences.
Definitely an enjoyable read, though there are some questions I had that were not answered, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers here. Fingers crossed, Sorcia, the leader of the East Coast Coven, gets her own book as well!

This is my first ever Vampire romance and I enjoyed reading it, though it didn’t feel much different from regular romance except for the blood drinking part. This was the second book in East Coast Territory and I look forward to reading Sorcia‘s story.
Elizabeth Lennox does it again with *Viktor’s Temptation*! I was hooked from the very first chapter. Viktor is strong, brooding, and commanding—exactly the kind of hero I love in a romance—but what really surprised me was the depth to his character. He isn’t just a powerful man; he’s protective and loyal. The chemistry between Viktor and Gracie is electric. Their banter is sharp, the passion is off the charts, and the way they challenge and heal each other makes the romance so satisfying. Lennox has a way of blending steamy moments with heartfelt emotion, and this story balances both beautifully.
I also appreciated the pacing—fast enough to keep me turning pages late into the night, but with enough detail to really pull me into their world. It’s the kind of book that makes you sigh at the end, wishing for just one more chapter. I finished it in one sitting!
Being a vampire means having rules that must be obeyed or face dire consequences. Lord Viktor Rastan controls the largest Eastern clan, a small kingdom really, with his soft but firm fist. Breaking the rules can literally render a vampire to dust. When he finds Gracie Andrews barely surviving, an abused, recently turned vampire it sets off a series of events that affect both their worlds. Gracie lost her old world and must learn to survive in Viktor's. His world is rocked as he unexpectedly falls in love with her. As she flexes her new abilities, strengthening, her love for him grows. At the same time, her memories begin to return and they must fight a dangerous threat to his kingdom together.
Wow! What a book! Viktor and Gracie are so good together. Poor Gracie had a butt for an ex, who got a little bit of what was coming for him, but not the point, Gracie was tested on with dozens of others and she made it through the change. Viktor found her on deaths door, helped her out, they developed feelings for each other. They had issues to solve and things to do throughout the story that helped Gracie fell more in control of her life again. Viktor found the love of his life and protected his clan with Gracie’s help. This was an amazing story that Elizabeth Lennox dove us into.
Once again, we visit the East Coast Territory run by vampire Lord Victor. When he and Gracie meet, he is stunned by her strength and beauty. Their instant attraction is a surprise to both. This is another great read in this series: Victor and Gracie are supported y some interesting characters, and the rogue vampire, who threatens everything Victor has worked for. A great read. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
This is the second paranormal book that EL has written and so good. Lord Viktor's rule over the Eastern Clan ensuring that all members is protected and care for, but something is turning humans into vampires. Viktor found Grace Andrew in a skeletal shape and couldn't understand why she hadn't fed, especially the scent of blood would demand she feed her hunger. I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one.
I'm not a fan of stories about vampires werewolves and witches its just too much a touch out of reality for me but that's just my opinion. Good story but I kind found myself bored with the storyline of vampires breaking rules and the master being dominat. I did finish reading the book and it was ok it wasn't something I would read again maybe
Gracie was a nurse who was in a bad relationship. Her fiancé at the time kicked her out of her own house where she was kidnapped and turned into a vampire. She was lucky meeting Viktor interesting how he helped her learn about being a vampire. I enjoyed the strength of Gracie, the plot of the story plus Gracie’s revenge against her ex fiancé and the romance between her and Viktor.
Gracie and Viktor's story was fantastic to read. Gracie is a true survivor. The way she fights through the unexpected and unwanted transition to being a vampire, regaining her sense of self, her memories and falling in love with Viktor along the way. Viktor's support and love truly helped her overcome all these obstacles. This was a fantastic story to curl up with.
I have loved these as they are a total change to ELs storylines and to the genre I read I wasn’t sure to start but they are really good.
The only down bit is that as with a lot of her books the endings feel rushed and cut short ….feel another chapter around the mountain would have offered a more rounded and less rushed finish
Viktor’s Temptation is the next book in the East Coast Territory series. Gracie Andrew wakes up discovering that she has been changed into a vampire, she is found by Viktor the Lord of vampires. Someone is transitioning humans and the end result will not be good. Viktor has to find the vampire who is doing this and figure out who is trying to take over his territory. He is also teaching Gracie how to use her skills now as a vampire and they are falling for each other.
