Reading several from this series about different indigenous people groups from North America to add them to my library. They are well done, written by authors who are members of the tribes they write about. The books include history and information about the current day tribe, its members, its cultural traditions, and its land. My mom always says "you can learn a lot from a kids' book," and that is certainly true for this series.
