I chose this graphic novel to fulfill a reading challenge and to refresh myself on Sea of Monsters after finishing the new Percy Jackson season 2 on Disney+. I didn't love the art in this edition since it made everyone WAY older looking, but it was a quick read. There will always be more detail and character development in the original novel.

I continue to make my way through the Percy Jackson series in the graphic novel format. Love Tyson and am glad that his arrival does not feel as negative as it does in the books. The story is interesting and works well as a graphic novel.
