Love? Been there, done that—and the baggage is heavy. After too many nights hiding out at my best friend’s pub, I’m making no progress on my upcoming comedy special. Writer’s block is a bitch and inspiration hard to come by.
Until her.
Lily crashes into my life—gorgeous, sharp-witted, and so much younger than me. She needs a place to stay, and I… well, I need to keep my head down and my hands to myself.
What could a bright young thing like her possibly want with a grumpy old bastard like me? Nothing; that’s what. Still, it only takes a smile for my heart to capitulate.
Love dad bod heroes with more than a few pounds of hang-ups to overcome? Me too! Follow along as Lily tries to convince Sean that age is just a number and even the grumpiest heart deserves a ray of sunshine, in the most scorchingly hot age gap romance I’ve ever written.
L. Moone writes steamy romance about big, brooding and devoted men who fall fast and love hard.
Her heroes might think they’re unworthy—but that won’t stop them from losing their hearts. Whether husky, grumpy, or cinnamon roll sweet, they’ll do anything for the women they love. And the heroines? They might act fierce and independent, but they've already melted just for him.
💖 Steamy, messy instalove
💖 Damaged, self-sacrificing heroes who put her first
💖 Dad bods, curvy girls and everything in between
💖 All the drama, all the feels, and a heartfelt and healing HEA—every time.
If you love obsessed book boyfriends, sassy heroines, and romance that makes your heart ache before putting it back together again, you’re in the right place.

3.5 stars. Fast and furious May to September romance. ~~~~~~~~~~ I actually enjoy romance with an age gap. preferable to me is when the guy is older than that woman, such as this case.
I also appreciate that the female lead is not out looking for an easy life. She’s not looking for someone to take care of everything. The author wrote the story just the way I enjoy them.
There was a great spark between them; plenty of heat, care, concern, and building trust. But what was missing? I can’t put my finger on it.
It could be just the pulse of the story. I never got any huge spark or aha moment. This book has good concept, is an enjoyable read, but I just needed more depth.
With her master plan in place to move out if she doesn’t have a job by a certain date, Lily has to beg luggage from people to pack her things up. Then she heads for the White Hart pub until she can figure out what to do next, relying on her cousin Alexis to provide her with a place to stay while she lets life happen all around her and doesn’t seem to worry about a single thing. (Her plans need lots more “work”.) I stood up and cheered when Alexis said NO. A helpful suggestion to go to her mother was not what Lily wanted to hear. Alexis needs to listen, she thinks, because it “truly wasn’t my fault this time”. (Just a note that I know someone exactly like this and am not reacting favorably to this deadbeat character. As much as I would do anything for anyone in need, such “users” as Lily seems to be make me cringe.) And since she doesn’t want to leave everything she owns in the hallway, she prowls around the other doors she has no business opening to see what is unlocked and available for her to store her stuff… without permission, of course.
Lily walks in on Sean who has a bit of writer’s block for his comedy material. He’s a stand-up comic and likes to work at his friend’s pub because it’s normally quiet in the back area he is given. He innocently allows her to put her stuff in the room, not realizing it could be a lifetime commitment. She chats with him and he offers her a place to stay “temporarily”. How can she ever repay and thank him?
Nope, this one was not funny to me. While I have no issue with age differences, I do not like Lily at all. If her mother would take her in, that’s where she should be. Because not wanting to be there, she might actually find a job! Anyway, this is just my personal reaction and the book may be good reading for others. So give it a try if it sounds interesting. It just is not a story line I can enjoy with Lily being the main attraction.
She needed shelter. He needed something real. Neither expected this.
Sean is a guarded comedian in hiding, burned out and blocked, crashing at his best friend’s pub while time runs out on his next special. Lily is jobless, stuck, and freshly kicked out, walking in with no plan and nowhere to land. One offer to crash turns into something more, and suddenly she’s right in the middle of the quiet life he’s built around staying numb.
Their connection builds slow, stretched thin between silence, sharp glances, and one too-small bed. Sean tries to keep his distance. Lily tries not to care. But what starts with friction turns into something far too real to ignore. The moment everything tips, they have to choose whether to hold on or walk away.
Neither of them is perfect, but they’re trying. Sean begins closed off and self-destructive, but gradually lets go of fear and lets himself be seen. Lily finds her footing piece by piece, stepping into her own voice and choosing herself even when it's hard. What grows between them is steady, imperfect, and real.
A steamy, age gap, grumpy sunshine romance with forced proximity, found family, one bed tension, and a quiet slow burn that hits hard. It’s about regret, vulnerability, emotional honesty, and learning to show up even when you’re afraid. At its heart, it's about choosing someone on purpose, staying when it counts, and finding love that changes who you are.
The Elevator Pitch: A broody comedian on the verge of burnout takes in a younger woman with nowhere else to go, and sparks fly in all the ways he swore he wouldn’t let happen. With one bed, slow burn tension, and emotional honesty, their connection turns from inconvenient to life-changing. It's a steamy, heartfelt age gap romance about letting go of fear and choosing love even when it scares you.
This is book three in The Big Boy's Do it Better Series and it is Lily and Sean's story. Sean is a stand up comedian and he is suffering from writers block so he decides to go to the pub to see if he can get some inspiration but what he is not expecting is to meet a woman who is down on her luck but can still smile and even though he is attracted to her and is younger enough to be his daughter so he definitely can't go there as it would completely kill his career so he will just be there for her. Lily is down on her luck and is having the worst day of her life when she meets Sean who is handsome, kind, caring and listens to her and even though he is a lot older than her she would love to get to know him but he keeps her at arms length because of there age difference even though they have a great connection and strong chemistry between them but will Lily and Sean be able to get pass there differences and Sean see that they are perfect together or will they just remain friends. This book was a brilliant read and so well written and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.

What a great story. I started and couldn’t put it down until I was finished. This story about Sean and Lily touches your heart as you read. The way they meet and what happens after that just keeps you into the story. When the tabloids get ahold of their story is so believable. I can understand Sean’s reaction but like Lily I didn’t like it. Lily gets a job from her friend and Lily’s boss gives her a ticket to Sean’s special being broadcast. When Sean lays everything out there in front of everyone was so heartwarming and for Lily to hear it live was the best. I loved how Lily yelled out his name and the entire audience went wild when they realized that she was the Lily that Sean had been talking about. This story had a loving happily ever after to it. I would recommend this story to anyone. I received a free copy of this book. I am writing this review because this book was so wonderful to read.
This is the third book in this series and is the first time I have read any of this authors work, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. Lily is having the worst day in her life when she goes into a pub and end up spilling all her problems to A kind and caring Sean. Sean is a comedian who is suffering from writers’ block, and he is in the pub hoping for some inspiration, when Lily arrives. The sparks fly between these two, but Sean is hesitant because of the age distance, which Lily does not think is a problem. This is a beautifully written story which is filled with undeniable chemistry, trust, humor, witty banter, emotions, and love, which leads to an all-consuming and entertaining page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author and I highly recommend this story.
This was a difficult book to read as it delved into some significant issues that many face, myself included. This May December romance involves a comedian with writers (??) block and a heroine who is constantly being told she’s a failure. They start at a cross-purposes and with so much opposition to them individually AND together, I’m surprised the relationship survived.
This author has a way of writing that makes you want to give the characters a big hug! You feel the emotions with them, and I kinda wanted to b**ch slap her cousin.. she made me so angry. A relatively quick read, but be prepared to deal with some emotional swings!
4.5/5⭐️ Due to the advantage which Sean has over Lily (plus the age gap), he feels like a “sugar daddy” to her. But for her, she doubts that she is good enough for him as she is unemployed and homeless.
The quiet moments they shared at home were awesome. The book is rather spicy as well so if you love high spice, you will love this!
I also loved how they both slowly overcame their fears and doubts together. And that groveling was epic! Sean could not have done any better and it truly cemented how in love he was with Lily that he could stand up (despite his fears) to fight for her, in his unique way.
Stand-up comedian, Sean, hangs out at a pub to combat his writer’s block and the last thing he expects is to meet a down-on-her-luck beautiful woman who comes into the pub and spills all of her problems. Sean is hesitant because there is a definite age-gap between him and the beautiful Lily and he cannot allow himself to fall for her. This book contains all the feels and character growth with comedy and heat.
I definitely enjoyed reading All Your Baggage by L. Moone. Lily met Sean when she shows up at the bar where her cousin is a bartender. She's just lost her job and moved out of her apartment and hoping fo help she goes to see her cousin. Sean is a comedian suffering from writers block but meeting Lily has his mind working overtime. Their is no denying the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts hot! If you enjoy age gap romance you will enjoy this story.
This is the 3rd book I've read written by L. Moore; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Husky Men Do It Better Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Lily & Sean; they meet when she goes to her cousin’s wanting to stay with her after losing her job and apartment.

This is a older male/ younger woman story. This is the story of Sean and Lily and their journey to their happily ever after. This book is part of a series but you can read it as a standalone. The characters are likeable and have great chemistry. I am looking forward to read more.
This is a sweet and sexy older man/younger woman romance between Sean and Lily. It's a story of friendship and understanding,a growing relationship and a hot chemistry. It's well written with descriptive scenes and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Sean is a divorced comic who meets Lily when she walks into a pub. They start talking after which he offers her a place to stay for a bit. What can happen when he doesn't want to get involved but is drawn to Lily? Will she get him to change is mind?

What I learned from this story: go to the pub when the chips are down! Just kidding. Whether experiencing loneliness and feelings of rejection, writers-block or just looking to unload, a friend is one who will listen. When Lily finds a kindred soul in Sean, more than secrets are poured out.
Loved it!! What a little communication can prevent or solve! Lots of uncertainty, immaturity, growth and passion. It takes a while between the characters friends and colleagues to get them talking. Interesting grand gesture!!. Wonderful emotional story. A must read!
The book is a good, and enjoyable steamy heart wrenching romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

The third book in the Husky Men Do It Better series a well written age gap story. Lily and Sean will have a lot of ups and downs before they get their happy ending. I enjoyed reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
He's ... just Sean. He's got two divorces under his belt.
He just doesn't want to be involved in anything. She's drawn to him. He offers her a place to stay while she's down on her luck. Until the paparazzi steps in.
Fun to read, a little different and twisted to some romance books, not sure if the age gap is that important it happens all the time. I guess it is more personal than outlandish. Great characters and a very good read.
All Your Baggage by L. Moone is book Three in the Husky Men Do It Better Series. This is the story of Lily and Sean. Lily has hit rock bottom and is in need to turn things around when she meets Sean.
