Very helpful resource for mothers returning to work. I plan to pump while at work but also love how Mohrbacher stresses that some breastfeeding is better than none in the cases when pumping at work doesn’t go as planned. I find some resources very judgmental but this was more helpful than judgmental.
I read this for my postpartum doula training but I wish I had read it as a working and pumping mom of twins. Info was super clear and helpful. So many helpful tips. Highly recommend for moms who want to continue to breastfeed when they go back to work.
This book and before that, breastfeeding made simple, were a game changer for me. Recommend them to all moms and healthcare professionals working with breastfeeding moms.
This great book is organized by baby's age at the time mom returns to work outside the home. it covers everything from when to start pumping, how much milk to store before returning to work, how to pump while apart from baby, etc. It even stresses that breastfeeding at work isn't an all or nothing situation.
