So good, right to the very last sentence! Anyone living in the Fox Valley, located in Northeast WI will relate to the places in the book. I had a picture in my mind throughout the entire mystery. Fast, fun read!
I really enjoy Jones’s books and look forward to each new one. Born and raised in Appleton, WI I can relate to the places he writes about. I enjoy the little tidbits of history he throws in about places and people. The story was so interesting - like having a Birds Eye view into a police station. What appeared to be a runaway wife turned into so much more.
Good police procedural novel with realistic characters involved in a plot right out of the movies. Plenty of twists and the location in the Appleton, Wisconsin area makes it a novel we can relate to.
What a fun read for anyone having roots in the Fox Cities. We'll written and great local references put you in the scenes. Story moves nicely and has a wonderful ending. Could have used a bit of editing but I am looking forward to reading the rest of his works
I enjoyed this book especially being from Wisconsin. He did an amazing job explaining everything to those who do not know Law enforcement and are not from the Fox Valley area. The ending was so amazing and would have never guessed even if you tried. 10/10 would read again.
