Book Park Road – Fiona’s Story
Fiona Stewart keeps The Arcane Attic running on grit, ritual polish, and a refusal to believe in anything she can’t ledger—until a gilt chair hums under her palms, her grandmother steps out of the air, and a raised sigil blooms beneath her skin. Suddenly mirrors breathe, a seam of darkness opens inside the Enchanted Cup, and Fiona can’t deny the she’s waking—and the Veil is listening.
Drawn into the circle of Isla, Cat, Morven, Elspeth and Orla, Fiona learns her gifts—psychometry, Second Sight, threshold sense, a shield that answers her breath—just as hunters slip through the cracks and a shimmering pool opens in her living room. On the other side waits Aileen from the Between…and danger that wears a council’s face. Mara arrives with a leash, Jean with a warning, and a calm, candle-making keystone named Rowan with the final thread. One witch’s awakening becomes a city’s reckoning.
Park Road follows Fiona as she claims what calls her, faces the Council’s games, and chooses who gets to hold her power—while a slow, steady spark with impeccably old-school Robert threatens to become a flame. Portals, hunters, and a life she thought she’d already some doors, once opened, remember your name.

Still feels more like a novella, and still almost completely lacking in the romance department (although there was one very brief romantic interlude this time). But the plot was a lot more engaging in book 6 than it was in 5. I’m committed to seeing it through, looking forward to the wrap-up in number 7.
Such a quick, yet highly enjoyable read. I know this story is coming to an end and I don't want it to. I'm excited for the conclusion while hoping all the while these women continue either on their own or mixed in to the other stories.
Having read the 1st series I loved it .... but the witches of Scotland series feel mair like novellas not enough padding to become invested in the characters That's not to say I'm about to download number 7 in the hope that it will bring the other 6 together
