She is an assassin working for the Queen. The Queen gives her a mission to save the son of the Queen. The mission is an adventure though several nations before coming to a success! 🌜
I would recommend this novella and author to readers of fantasy world 🌐 adventure action novels 🙄✨ 2025 🎉🏠
This was such a fun and easy to read romantasy book! This is a very short book. However, sometimes a short but gripping romantasy is what you need!
The story follows Aurora, one the Queen's Assassin's who is forced by the Queen to travel into the Fae World and into the Unamed Territory to retrieve a powerful object in order to save her family. She is accompanied by Sylas, the Queen's guard.
Both characters are strong, dedicated, and likeable! I really enjoyed the slow burn romance, alies to lovers.
The story keeps you reading. It is packed with action. There are lots of interesting and exciting elements, and some shocking twists along the way!
Congratulations to Annalise Hardman on the release of this book! She self-published this book and has shared her journey, as well as snippets of the book on her booktok. So go and give her a follow- @annalisebookshelf.
I am very interested to see where the story goes from here, and I definitely recommend that everyone read this book!
A well-crafted fantasy with a strong plot and engaging twists. Aurora’s mission to save the dying Heir of Nexonia—driven by the promise of saving her own parents—adds emotional depth, while the journey through the Untamed Territory keeps the pace lively. The Fae Queen’s demand for the lost Divinal Stone adds intrigue, and the surprises along the way maintain momentum. Aurora and Sylas are likable leads, though more backstory would have enriched their arcs. The ending felt a bit flat for a duology opener, but the story still left me eager for book two.
This was such a fun read. Not too long and lots of action to keep you turning the page. The FMC is strong and likeable. It has a slow burn, allies to lovers romance and an unexpected reveal near the end. Looking forward to reading more books in this series and finding out where the characters go from here.
I came across the author in an OJ newsletter and despite Romantasy not really being my thing, I thought I'd give it a go. Nice prose, fun short read. Hasn't converted me to romantasy a few minor gripes but a promising start!
A really engaging story, a must read for those who are a fan of romantasy books. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to find out what happens next after The Night of the Two Moons!
