I stumble upon a lumberjack in the woods one day. He’s incredibly huge, with bronzed skin, broad shoulders, and abs like a proverbial washboard. He lifts those bulging biceps overhead to chop wood and THWACK ...
... those are my ovaries exploding!
But is he massive down THERE too?
I want to know!
Grace thinks I’m a local dude, but it’s a ruse. I came here to oversee the construction of my mansion by the lake, and I’m pretending to be a lumberjack while overseeing the build. But hey, if a pretty young thing wants to hop in my bed and tear up the sheets, then who am I to say no? But Gracie better hold on tight because when she gets a taste of my massive axe ...
... she’ll be on her hands and knees ...
... squealing and panting ...
... begging for more as she experiences HUGE SIZE for the first time!
Get out your favorite toys because this one is going to make you squirm! Okay, I promise there’s actually a plot :) because there’s far more to this story than a hunky mountain man and the curvy girl he adores. Braden Rockwell is a billionaire masquerading as a lumberjack, and Gracie loses her heart during her first time with a growly, gruff alpha male packing the kind of heat she craves! Say yes to passionate romance that threads together age gap attraction, a sassy curvy girl, and the fierce exterior of a possessive mountain man who protects what belongs to him. The reviews i read weren’t quite how i felt reading the book.
Braden catches Grace watching him while he is splitting wood with an ax.
Braden thinks about taking her especially if she is a virgin, his POV is sadistic and dark pleasure. He isn’t interested in a relationship.
When he and Grace have sex he is disturbed from taking her virginity roughly, not that he stops, Grace does feel pleasure eventually during her first time.
It’s confusing to me because he was enjoying the thought of blood before but expressed regret when it happens.
They explore their sexuality together, Braden eventually telling her he likes it rough. Grace feels the same.
Braden is abrasive in the beginning of this book but by the end he loves instead of uses her.
Grace lives in a shack her father and brother left her in. She watches over the little crop the grow on her own. One day she stumbles upon Braden and tries to leave before he sees her. Braden knew someone was there and was shocked to find Grace. Braden is a wealthy man and is trying not to be noticed so he lets Grace think he is just a lumberjack. Its not long before they grow closer and things heat up. However, her family turns up and things don't go well. Will Braden claim her as his own? What will happen with her family?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book some book lovers will enjoy.
More than Meets the Eye - S.E. Law has written another mesmerising romance story, that I couldn't put it down once I started reading before bed and stayed up way past my bedtime, just because I had to finish it. The storyline is filled with deception, steamy moments, family drama and a twist that I never expected, but made the story a worthwhile read. This book is awesome and I highly recommend you grab a copy of this book to read now.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I think it is really hard to write the bad boy, alpha hero without making them out to be a total a--hole. I don't think it was successful here. I just never really liked Braden and then the switch to him suddenly being in love with Grace seemed out of left field. The book was otherwise decent and well written.
Awesome story!! Many entertaining lol moments. Characters share great chemistry and the steamy scenes were very well written. Storyline was entertaining from the first page. Some secrets and suspense. This book is a great addition to the series.
Did not love the story. There were a lot of gaps in the story. I liked Braden, but his story was flawed and Grace is an air head that I found a bit annoying, but overall if you saw a bit more relationship development it would have been a great story.
