Through the Mist

Rate this book
Through the mist, there is always a glimmer waiting to be seen.
When her mother's illness forces her to leave behind everything she knows, young Dianna must start over at her Aunt Deyma's home, nestled in the Vesper family vineyard. Surrounded by hills covered in vines and the echo of secrets that seem to dwell within the walls of La Residencia, Dianna begins to confront the weight of her own silences and wounds.
Amid the routine and the fear of losing her mother, an unexpected connection challenges her to look beyond the fog that has shrouded her life. There, in that unfamiliar yet transformative place, Dianna discovers that hope doesn’t always arrive immediately but is cultivated—like grapes—with patience, care, and determination. With a captivating narrative and richly nuanced characters, Hannie Palmen weaves an intimate story about the search for light in the midst of shadows.
Through the Mist is an invitation to remember that, even in the darkest times, the roots of life can bear fruit if given the chance to bloom.

It was a real pleasure to watch the characters deal with difficult situations and grow from them over the time. I'm really happy I found this book and I'll definitely keep it in my heart and go back to it again.
